#Pushback Truck preference

No, because in reality the pushback truck is supplied by the airport, and in most cases, some terminals might have different equipment, so the preference is correct as it is, by airport/gate.
In reality the pushback truck is supplied by a ground handling service. This could be a service owned by a airport like Fraport Ground Services or by a airline like BLUE/AZUL Handling who self-handling for Ryanair or a external handling service like ahs Aviation Handling Services, Acciona Airport Services and other. A parking position can be big enough to handle a A330 from Eurowings by Acciona with a towbar-less PB as well as a A320 from Lauda Europe by AZUL with a towbar. After all equipment is not fixed to a special position or terminal.
Exactly, it's supplied by an entity that is tied to the airport, not the airplane. If we linked it to the airplane, as you suggested, we would end up in the absurd situation that, just because your airplane "like" to use Towbarless tugs, you'll find them everywhere you fly (even in the middle of nowhere), which is completely unrealistic
@strong phoenix Your last statement is not globally true. My home airport has specific gate information indicated on equipment.
Ok, then we will continue to push an A320 with a Goldhofer AST-1 X…
