Option to disable stairs removal and closing doors automatically

I'd like to control this manually. For better immersion when you're running some pax simulation (like pacx or SLC) to the side.

Now I regularly get in a situation where the stairs are being pulled back too early while the external simulation is still boarding which is immersion breaking.

When I set doors to manual through the airplane profile, as adviced in another topic, the door is being left open yet the stairs are being pulled back. This is also quite immersion breaking. This has happened in the PMDG 738 and Fenix A320.

As stated above this does not work as it breaks the immersion even more. The stairs still get removed and the door just remains open. Hence the request for a proper manual setting to control both the stairs and the doors manually.

"Doors without checks" is not the same as a manual setting.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but doesn't unchecking Automated staircases do exactly this?

I did check in FSDT earlier today whether I had an update, I didn't.

no but you might not have got the latest files, do a "Check" in the installer

Can I "uncheck" the "door without checks" option in the plane settings?

you can run the check function during the flight. No problem, couatl will just temporary close

? door open close checks have nothing to do with the stairs. If you want to have manual door operation You should stay with that option

I was wondering if it would leave the door open if I leave the stairs when setting it to manual.
