Once I get my hands on the Update I will start working on the updated profile.

Depending on the amount of work that needs to be done I will rework parts or all of the Profile from scratch with all the knowledge I have gained since.

I will of course post WIP versions here for all of you

Looks like there weren´t too many AFACd changes, so the profile is fine as it is.
I will do a complete update for the profile regardless to fix some of my little mistakes and add a few new things.

The slot is empty no idea what happens 😂 I will have to try that. I just use it to split the different taxi lanes

First WIP version:

  • Apron 1 - completed

  • Apron 2 - only non A or B gates done (not started with the satellite)

  • new profile from scratch

  • only screen VDGS fitted into the AS VDGS housing

  • correct airline parking codes -> if you know more about this let me know (for example: Airline XY only uses stand 1 at terminal 2, let me know)

  • pushback naming and order updated so its easier to find the right one

  • added E2 as a pushback choice for some unlikely cases

  • updated multiple stand sizes to fit the 787

Do I better use the AS or GSX VDGS?

There currently only is a version with GSX VDGS and since its overlaying the AS VDGS it might be a bit hard to see.
Apart from that its completely your choice. What you prefer
There will of course be two versions once i´m done with the update

I prefer the GSX one.
AS VDGS requires you to run their external app and you will have to manually add flight information into it. Additionally my GSX stop positions are much more accurate than the scenery spawn positions the AS VDGS uses

if you press it in the menu yes. It does not alter the spawn position on sim load if that is the question

Ahh ok I think as I use Fenix2GSX it Position the plane automatically

I just finished the last ramp. I will add the de-ice pads next and then package everything up for release.

Just made a Turn-Around in Munich (Gate 245) and well ... though I really like your Work, the Passenger Paths are a bit overdone imho. It takes ages to Deboard and Board due to the long walking Ways. A Passenger is only considered deboarded when he/she reached the End of the Path. Leading to strange Results in Tools like Fenix2GSX or my Pilotsdeck Profile seeing no Passengers deboarded although seeing many on the Jetway and Bridge.
Even if Umberto would/could change the Behavior of the L-Vars (decrementing when the Pax left the AC Door) it would still mean that Deboarding Service would still be running.

To my Bad I must admit, that I overlooked that GSX 2.7.0 boosted the Problem yesterday. Of course it does not set the Deboarding Speed to the configured Boarding Speed initially after the Update, resulting in the Deboarding done at "Normal" Density (instead of Very Dense) -.-
But nonetheless I think EDDM is at the upper Limit / Edge of what the Passengers Paths were designed to - it should not be any longer. If some are shortened, that would be absolute wonderful. But it would also be alright if unchanged, just make future Projects a tad shorter 🙂
I agree that another Profile Version/Variant would be too confusing and too much to maintain!

It's only really "luxury Problems" on something that saves so much Work & enhances the Sim Experience. Also it is easily correctable 😉

FYI: If I understood the VatSim Briefing correctly (https://vatsim-scandinavia.org/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=4391&key=5033a7fc554455bce1ceabead8c1bd96), the Y1 Push was missing for A14/A15. I've added it to the Procedures
