Google Cloud Credits are added to your Google Cloud Account and are automatically deducted as you consume Google Cloud Services until they run out. Then, if configured, your credit card will get charged for overages.

Cloud Skills Boost credits are specific to that website, they only apply to training sessions/labs/quests available there. Some labs are free, others have a credit cost. If you have Cloud Skills Boost credits, then those credits will be deducted as you take courses. If memory serves, the Innovators program refills the credits at the beginning of every month. I need to double-check that.

Same here - 35 credits

Same for me. In the instructions email, it said that completing the lab would give us 300 credits. I completed it twice but only 35 credits!😂

Which lab are you referring to?

The instructions in the email refer to the Cloud Skills Boost lab titled** "A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Lab"**... It is not referring to the Gemini Colab notebook (https://goo.gle/LuisLab) I shared with you all.

I'm pasting the instructions here for reference:

  • Search for and perform the Lab called “A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs”.
  • Click the green "Start Lab" button to launch and complete with a 100% assessment score. (Ensure to spend at least 6 mins in the lab referencing the countdown timer)
  • Click the "End Lab" button & submit feedback. You’ll receive 200 credits in your account (which may encounter a slight delay when updating your credits amount).

Notice it says that there might be a delay in seeing the credits reflected.
