This is what happened
I'm from iran and I decided to revisit my country
I came back and today in finland's airport, I went to a well known shop and bought a gift card
Then I wanted to redeem it but it didn't work
My country is also set to finland
EVEN THE GIFT CARD IS WRITTEN IN FINNISH
Also, in few months ago, I was in finland, and I bought a gift card from the same shop (different location tho) and it worked. Tho it wasn't the first exact day.
How long does it take for them to answer?
yeah then you probably have to wait for them to check and see that everything is ok
(and hope the store owner hasn't done anything shady either?)

If they haven't and you haven't then nothing to worry about, just wait for them to check that everything is alright and that's it :)

That's exactly what the form is about, they'll check if everything matches up, where you bought it, where you were at that time and so on :)
If it doesn't come until 3 months then no more mythic ghost (the reason I even bought the gift card)
(To be fair, they do say the best way to buy things fast is to use a payment method directly on the play store)
but I don't think it will take more than 3 months
so don't worry :)

For a lot of people, it says something like their account info is inconsistent, barely anyone got away scot free :(
99% get away without any issue don't worry :)
Otherwise you'd have a lot more people talking about it considering the Play Store is used by Billions of devices/people ahah

No you shouldn't
But try not to send another application if nothing changed...
(They probably will consider it as spam or something like that)

Also when I asked them about it, they said they haven't seen something like this but they said if I submit the application, they'll probably give my balance
I should probably submit one more application.
It's simple really:
• either you didn't use the same Google account to claim it and to fill the application (as stated in the email)
• or something shady was going on (store or you), and if it's not you then contact the store so they reimburse you or something
When I do it in the website, it says this: "That code didn't work. Try again. If the code is for a specific app, redeem it in that app."
That usually means there was a mistake in the code

I mean, a ton of others also have the same problem. But do they also have the same problems? Not trying to say you're wrong. I'm saying google is.

When I searched the reason of this error, one of the sites says that Google isn't sure that I actually purchased the card, so they put this error.
Well, in the second application form, I DID put my receipt, so now they know i actually purchased it.
So hopefully they give my balance.

Supposing the seller did something bad, they could've kept the card after it's been bought. But the last few people I saw in the store didn't but anything
