You should be able to migrate your domain name from one reseller to another without changing the DNS settings or losing the workspace. So if you bought the domain as part of buying workspace, you could move the domain to a new registrar and keep workspace.

hi sorry i know this was a long time ago now but this is quite conflicting information. Just to be clear. moving my domain away from google/squarespace will not result in loss of workspace functionality
