Here is some background: https://developers.googleblog.com/2022/03/GoogleMachineLearningBootcamp.html
Ok thanks
Hi @ruby marten ! We have been running multiple bootcamps across the world that lead to TensorFlow Certification. While many of them are now close, feel free to stay on this channel to hear soon from the alumni participants and for future announcements π
Ok thanks:)
hi !
what about ? that
https://rsvp.withgoogle.com/events/google-machine-learning-bootcamp_europe ... Deadline: June 20th, 2022. ... π¦ Will there ne a new round or is a late entry possible?
sounds iteresting, if there is a new round i'll be down for it
Indeed, the applications for this year are closed. We will communicate here new opportunities when they become available π
Hello all!
Hello
Is there a Ml bootcamp in Singapore?
I believe AI Space ran it a few month ago!
Hello
Not confirmed yet. I am trying to have it in as many countries as possible!
I hope Mexico is considered
https://rsvp.withgoogle.com/events/ml-bootcamp-sp-22
There was boot camp for LATAM in 2022, I'm thinking they might start it again july/aug 2023
An intermediate ML training and hiring program to grow as a machine learning developer, providing a fast and practical curriculum in machine learning.
I sure hope they open a 2023 edition...
Myself Pooja. I am from India. Anyone here who is new to ML domain. Can we connect? If yes than pc me soon
Hello everyone could you pls suggest a best use case in educational sector to solve a problem using chatgpt
Could you give more detail in what you're looking for? Do you mean how educators or administrators might use it? Or how students might use it to solve problems? I've been doing both so would love to chat about it
Hi everyone! I work on the CoreML Frameworks & APIs team at Google, and weβre looking to speak with developers who work with LLM APIs. Weβd especially love to hear from developers who fine-tune and train the models they work with, but itβs okay if havenβt! If you have 20-30 minutes to speak in the next week or two, please reach out.
Your feedback could help shape future ML/AI tools at Google.
(scam, do not go through)
Hi maybe it is late. I am available Hiba
Hi everyone! some in the group with ML certification? I am looking for someone who wants to share their experience
hi all, is there a ML bootcamp available on india right now?
Is this just a free online bootcamp for ML from google?
^this course?
Just a free! The chutzpah!
Hi all π ,
I am a student trying to get into ML. I'm given a mixed opinion that "master the maths behind it and then code" or "forget about maths just learn to code with ML". Which advice should I take and would be great if you could point me to some place to get started.
I think the truth lays somewhere inbetween π I teach a 12 week bootcamp, and the key is getting the right balance between the theory (maths) and the application.
Someone who is all maths/theory, with no coding ability isn't going to thrive very well in the industry.
Someone who is all coding without any understanding of the maths/theory is going to a hit a limit in their understanding, robustness, and usefulness of what they're creating.
With all of the algorithms we use, it's important to understand a few different things:
What is the underlying principle of what this algorithm/model is doing it?
What assumptions does it make about our data? (For example, Linear regression assumes a normal distribution)
What data conditions does this model perform best in? worst in?
When is this algorithm/model not suitable for a dataset?
There are some things that we do to data that are vital for some models, optional for some models, and detrimental to others.
Overall, in ML, what we always want to avoid is the black box. Anyone can take some data, stick it into an algorithm, and get an output. It's important that ML practioners can explain and understand their models.
I'd always recommend following a set course, there's some amazing free ones out there π
Can you recommend some of the course?
Hey, I am a student, my IGCSE will be ending this month and I will be entering AS next month. I am really interesting in machine learning and the maths behind it. I know python extremely well. Now to learn the maths and the ML technology what steps should I take? Like any good books or courses that teach the math or the technology like tensor flow
Here is a book on Learning TensorFlow: A Guide to building deep learning system
Data science courses with python. Database structures. Jupyter notebooks and running a notebook python environment like Pycharm. Tensorflow is still certifying by exam until May 2024 and then will be closed indefinitely until they restructure training. They have a lot of free courses including FreeCodeCamp Machine Learning course is basically someone walking through the google machine learning courses.
Just do like everyone else say that you know shit then when you get handed a task work day and night and study what you need. Let's say your boss asks you if you know tensorflow, no problem I am great at it you say then run home with the best motivator there is; real preasure to keep your job
Can you take the GCP Machine Learning Engineer path after this course?
You can start to take the test anytime- with/without that.
hey
Hey there. Welcome to the server
thnx a lot
Hello everyone I'm up Akhyaar
Welcome aboard Akhyaar! β
Hello, You can post this on #1130510190219898992 π @unborn scarab
Hi everyone!! This is Mohsin
Happy New year! I wish you all the blessings in the world in the new year. π₯³π₯³ππβοΈππ
Hey guys, we are looking for ML engineers for a hackathon project. Anyone can join . The gates are open for anyone . Dm to me . Let's build together ππ»
when is the next ML bootcamp?
How can I join the next ML bootcamp? When is the next ML bootcamp?
Does anyone have any idea about the enrollment of ML bootcamp
The problem is getting a ML job in the first place
Well I just got an internship on AI / ML so there is a bigger market out there .. Keep looking !!
Are you a masterβs student?
Nope just an UG student ..
what ml-bootcamp is this? can someone send the link to refer?
Hey everyone! just join this community and got to know how ML is spreading all over the world!
Any suggestion should i start looking into this as a data science stu.
Hey y'all, i'm new here
Hi I am Zako and Iβm a coder whatβs your name
Hi all,
My name is mohsin. I am a budding mle from india. Would love to connect with you all.
Hey, how are you mate
hi , yes i am also from india i am buldding ml
I'm sorry what's a budding male?
hi guys
just registered for the GET CERTIFIED PROGRAM
How and where
What is that?
Oh Hey , we are at oh wait i watch different Streamer on Twitch
hi guys , i was just learning about RAG and trying to use CHROMA to save my data,
right now i was trying to load :- a .md file using langchain , and embedding model of :- BAAI/bge-base-en-v1.5 but then during the query retrival i can see the cosine scrores to be about {around} 0.6 ,while the answers being completly wrong .
can someone help me out with this {i am using RECURSIVE SPLITTER to split the text of md file }.
is it to do with the chunking or is it because of the model that i am using .
P.S : i am just a beginner in this field
Thank-You
Heyyyy
Hello ππ½
Hi
Got you!
Cosine score around 0.6 usually means chunking issue, not the embedding model.
I can help fix the splitter settings.
Quick question:
What chunk size and overlap are you using right now?
hi
Hello ππ½
MLE = Machine learning Engineer ..π¨
Never heard of one of those l0l0l0l0l0l
xD
helloo
Hi
Hello
hi
What is this AI Bootcamp? Would love to add it to the AI Resources page on my website depending on the content. How can I check it out?
Hey everyone! Iβm starting my first Machine Learning project on Pathological Speech Detection (identifying speech disorders/diseases through audio) but i didn't no how to start and where from to start ,need some guidance from you buddies
Hello
Hi, i guess you should start by searching for existing models and fine tune them for your specific case. But if you want to build your own model from scratch, you can start with using a basic LSTM with supervised data if you have a small dataset. But if you have a large dataset you can go with transformer based models.
