if i have some completions dating back to years ago when cheat indicator wasn't necessary, can they still get accepted if i have raw footage and clicks but there isn't a cheat indicator even though i used a mod?

Yes, you can still get your record accepted, cheat indicators are not required if they didn’t exist back then.
Just please don’t lie about playing on vanilla, it’s useless and you could easily get banned from the list for that
