that is actually incorrect because the first wave was at least 20 years before the second wave which was in 2180. so the timeline is technically 60 or so years and not 80. Anyways the other evidence against the two games being connected is that current raider technology resembles 80s tech, with CRT moniters, and 80s asthetic in all of the maps. This world diverted from the finals timeline quite a while ago, because in the finals, everything is super high tech. we would at least see remnants of a high tech dystopian world in arc raiders if they are connected. It's still possible but in the arc raiders world it seems that the tech diverted due to some event.
