Cuz its completely screwed up by cheaters... This happens in all Regions... I was Gold 1 and I am unranked RN... And OCE is dead so just dont Q OCE, try your luck in NA servers then or VPN yourself to Japan and Q east asia instead.

You see, QC and other gamemodes do not have MMR in this game (or maybe they do but its not noticable) and ranked, since you as bronze 4 can be matched against Dia 1, if you both have the same account stats it will put you against each other in the match... They need to fix the game, add much more content like 10+ maps. gadgets for every class and weapons for every class, abandon EAC and get a better anticheat or develop their own and hire a team of dedicated admins that would spectate reported players and manually ban them... I just gave you a tip to get atleast some gaming experience.

I said "you need" not "there is"... 48 players of the same skill per match, then you need multiple matches at the same time to mix teams up so groups of 6 would not be teaming up in ranked to prevent 6v3v3 in ranked matches. Doesnt matter, the game gets less and less players and in Quick Cash it seems like there are even bots RN (not officially announced). The game was good before all the nerfs too... it ruined Heavy for me big time where if my RPG hits a wall that is 2 meters away from me, Im insta dead and it deals 550 damage to myself but only 149 damage to enemy so it cant even one tap light anymore... Boring, broken, not fun, not enough weapon variety, not enough map variety...

"heaps variety" xD where? Battlefield 2042 has 57 weapons, The Finals has like 4 per class... You will end up playing only with 4 weapons that suit your playstyle anyways like me AK on Medium, Lewis MG on Heavy and Sniper/MP5 on Light... Gadgets are always the same to optimize your loadout and till now there were just 4 maps which aint "heaps variety"... This is "alpha grade" content...

i think its because you need to play 60 rounds to unlock ranked, you would think lots of people have unlocked it by now but iv seen so many new players in unranked from oce and asia playing, with the long times to find a match also is less encouraging for new players who want to unlock it and probs dont want to go play asia as its full of cheaters + high ping, its kinda the same situation with apex in high ranked, you kinda have to go play on singapore if you want to play at those high ranks

If you did get an OCE game, what mmr was it? Unranked bronze? The game now shows all ranks when you press tab

It's plausible that unranked would have popped since that's majority of the players, but sad if that's the case because once you win a couple games, you'll no longer be able to find a game because the MMR difference

So players select International, everyone talks to a matchmaking server that puts the game together then once everyone is locked into a game, the server is chosen randomly and/or semi-randomly by ping/empty server ability, the fact you have the opportunity to be world ranked should be promoted... but the idea is that if ur in a quiet region/bad time of day etc.. you can get a game with a chance of a decent ping time with ppl from around the world having similar issues

Even if they pooled all the low-pop servers (eg; NA and then everyone else) (for Ranked only) it would be cool

How long do you wait for games? it's as much about player count as it is ping, best possible ping would be OCE, I cant seem to get Asian games IDK what the best time to play Asia is, but why shouldnt they have an International comp? IDK if it's ever been done before like this, but if you think about it, it makes sense. I usually get up early and play NA, but lately Ive been connecting under the map 3 minutes after the game has started with 2 player teams... I know they are having server issues and I think they are running games with duos even in NA due to low-pop, I admire the effort/passion by embark to pump ranked, but I think my idea is better.....

i dont really wait for games? i dont know what you mean. i dont think many players would want to play on ping worse than asia. if i got placed into an na or eu server i would just leave immediately. theres a reason why we have region based servers. so that its actually playable and fair for all. it wouldnt be a fair fight playing agaisnt someone on 50 ping and im on 250

i think automatic is kinda what you're talking about. with automatic, the game will put you in a game that it sees fit, taking into account que times, and server population and ping

I'm pretty sure auto just does you local region based on ping (eg; ppl who dont know what Oceania means etc) it maybe changes to the next best ping if you are queing for over 10minutes , but AFAIK it doesn't seem like it's doing that when I que for 15mins at 4am for QP idk

Orr instead just reset everyone's region settings to automatic and join an Oceania/Asia server based on total amount players ping

CS:GO had a cool feature where you could set the max amount of acceptable ping, allowing you to play on SEA servers but nowhere else outside of Sydney servers. I'm sure the finals can have some sort of server setting like In valorant displaying which servers are closest to you and which ones can be used to queue and which ones can't.

yeah have always liked Counter Strikes options regarding server access. Especially their custom/private server options, getting to choose country, ping range, map, and server name. All things that I really hope the Dev's make available to us. Especially allowing players to host custom servers for private matchmaking, or aim maps, or deathmatch maps etc. Battlefield offered that option didn't they? or was that after the Finals Devs left the battlefield franchise. Think it was for the "Blueprints" part where you could custom build maps with whatever physics, rules, and restrictions that you wanted.

I'd honestly like to see even a rough count of players playing in region when choosing it, would at least show us what sort of numbers we're actually dealing with, know it could have either a negative or positive reaction but I personally think it could have a positive effect. God even a "x/x players" count for when your trying to find a lobby will at least promote people to stay quing rather than waiting 5m and then cancelling to go to Asia.
