I too wish for a buff that makes Reshaper more enticing to actually use, especially when you learn the canister cycle. The buff stated here sounds lovely, but would be too overpowered in my opinion.
A simple fix I'd honestly ask for is either a much faster cooldown recharge, or just simply a charge more like how it originally was

Changes to the ranked system are needed.

Double Jeopardy has done little to address the griefing problem, because for some reason the 6th cashout box is still present in overtime.
In practice, this is almost never a comeback mechanic. In the vast majority of cases, it turns into deliberate griefing of the second-place team, simply to let a weaker team pass through.
This creates an unhealthy game state where six players defend the final cashout together without shooting each other at all. That is not normal or healthy for a competitive mode.

The 6th cashout box should be removed from overtime in ranked mode.

Yeah sure thats fine and all except you now have a class that has the highest dps weapons with the lowest ttk’s. Combined with both a gadget and a specialization that nearly guarantees first shots.

You have one class that has all of the following.

Smallest hitbox
Fastest health regen
Fastest ttk weapons
The only movement abilities

Oh and 2 abilities that allows you to not be seen even if they stare directly act you.

Curious what’s the trade off? 150hp but a 5 second regen and already half the size of the other classes. Supposed to be a glass cannon but it’s more like a plastic nuke.

This game is BROKEN if you play as a heavy now.

Lights LMG kills you in 0.75 seconds with a LMG, you don't even have enough time to turn around and swing a hammer or place a barracade before you're dead, not to mention if there's more than one enemy.

Light sword guys NEVER miss. Secondary fire, slash, they're miles away, repeat 3 times dead. You can't even do ANYTHING about it now. and that's before they think about using evasive dash, which most do.

Light put-put-put pistol guys land EVERY SINGLE SHOT, you're dead before you can even spot them or turn on a sheild or deploy a barracade.

Light shotgun just two-shot you to the head, no time to react or do anything.

Light snipers, well, they just use the sniper as if it was a shotgun even at point blank range and they evasive dash or grapple away.

Flame thrower does nothing to lights, they just run-away, ON FIRE, and shoot you from a distance or evasive-dash + slash you.

Hammer range is to short now. Hammer time between shots is too long. and it takes too long before the hammer even hits them.

Winch claw range is nerfed, so they just escape.

If you do manage to winch claw them, they just LMG, Shotgun, Snipe or slash you do death WHILE they're being winch-clawed towards you. And if you do manage to pull someone towards you, they just run off, before the hammer can be swung to hit them.

There is just NO defense against lights any more.

RPGs used to be useful - NERFED, haven't equipped once since about season 3.

Shield is no defense against lights, they just run though it and before you can swing a hammer you're already dead.

Barracades are almost useless now, since the lights just evasive dash around them and shoot or slash you from the side.

Good luck switching to any other weapon - there's just no time, they see you, you're dead.

I don't mind lights being in the game, I don't like what I've observed to be a certain Light mentality. The ones who'd push a room in point break without reviving a person just outside, even if no one knows they are there next to the body. The ones that touch the platform once and claim to be anti-sniper without actually winning against said snipers, but the heavy and pocket healer are to blame because they got fewer kills while defending. The Lights that zip away with the vault and get sniped out the sky even when the other team has the high ground. (One message every six hours? Dear lord.)

Hi. Can we please address aim snapping assist with controllers and the unintended effects that it has added to the game. I haven't played this game in over a month before I rejoined for the past 4 days in a row. I initially left because there was an obvious trend towards burst weapons with the introduction of the BFR Titan (guns that do large damage in one shot). I came back with S9 excited for the new map. But I have very quickly learned that the bow got buffed and despite the "nerf" to the repeater so many people are abusing it still. (The slower ADS time on the repeater doesn't matter when you have snap aiming by the way) With these changes the ttk on a HEAVY can be under 2 SECONDS in most CASUAL cashout rounds. I have mentioned this before but these types of weapons are CANCER for a fun game. Current CASUAL games are now full of repeaters, KS, and DB because of the snap aim is so easy to use. Having 1/3 to 1/2 of your health gone in one shot leads to extremely FRUSTATING gameplay over and over again. It's ruining what was one of my favorite games to play with friends. I gave it up for a month to play BF6 and have come back to find it in a worse place. Please look at this game (D4581-GRVQ6-DTSQ8) that I just played. This game felt like ABSOLUTE CANCER that my entire team was talking about how it makes them not want to play the game; this is a PROBLEM. Your "dynamism" can't even happen when you die so fast. PS5 and controller bugs/fixes desperately needed. These are all experienced in Power Shift (the only mode I play). I’ve tested these with 6 different controllers and it’s always the same issue:

1. The in-game wheel command menus require the stick to be pushed all the way to the edge to register. It was never like this until a patch update a few months ago. It makes it a chore to thank team mates or initiate emotes/sounds
2. My emotes cancel half way through and have been doing this for a while now
3. Gadgets are randomly not being deployed. The gun either fires a few bullets or they are simply not activating, making you think you are on a cooldown or simply miscalculated availability of said gadget.

I’ve noticed the “no fire” bug has recently stopped. Thank you.

Keep up the great work but please chip away at these bugs. They will be a real quality of life improvement for controller players and enable us all to play our best game.

• Phased Onboarding: Don't overwhelm new players with every mode at once (the "Netflix Effect"). Implement a progression system: start with TDM and Power Shift, then unlock Quick Cash, and finally Ranked. This allows players to learn the ropes step-by-step with friends.

• Transparency & UI: In 2026, we need more clarity. Please show gadget cooldowns in seconds in the descriptions and indicate if a mode has active matchmaking.

• Light's Cloaking Device: Currently, it's far too visible while moving, making it feel useless compared to Dash or Grappling Hook. It needs a significant invisibility buff to be viable.

Priorities & Communication: I often feel like our feedback goes into a void. We need a two-way dialogue—a forum or a regular response system where devs engage with the community. It doesn't seem like players can preview or adjust optics, and when I was a new player with only so many VRs, finding the right optic was clunkier than it should have been. Made a slight adjustment to Ranked matchmaking to lower the chances that Ruby/Diamond players might face Platinum/Gold players during very off-peak times of the day. DONT NEED ADJUSTMENTS - WE DONT WANT LOBBYS WITH RUBYS when we are in gold/plat rank. Serious feedback on Sword

I played Sword for about 1000h (hit rank 90 with it before) and a few things get lost in the heated "Sword is overpowered/unplayable" discussion.

First of all both sides need to be understood where they are coming from.

Yes in a casual lobby where people don't hit the important shots a Sword that is just running around and left clicking people to death seems absurd, overpowered and has little to do with skill expression.

The Problem is as soon as you cross the line of people investing enough time to hit even just a moderate amount of their shots left clicks become less and less viable and you have to learn combos and movement tricks to minimize the damage you take while maximizing the damage output. That's where the sword lunge comes in. Lunging is the part where skill expression shows with movement, spacial awareness and positioning. With reducing the damage AND introducing a rotation clamp the lunge becomes really clunky to use and less effective than the simpler M1 spamm.

So what can Embark do to fix the issue for both sides ? Put the focus of the weapon back on the lunge to reduce frustrating scenarios.

Second Problem, lunging through an entire team and dealing massive damage with very little counterplay should not be a thing. It is very frustrating to play against and extremely situational. It should be like other melee weapons. Left clicking less damage but can multihit and the "special attack" single target but is special in some way. Hammer has a single target high damage and destruction. Sword should have single target damage on the lunge but high mobility.

The rotational clamp itself got introduced to get rid of people 360° rotating through an entire team for a huge hurtbox and is without multihits therefore redundant.

I intentionally didn't talk about hit registration because it haunts the game as a whole but of course that increases the frustration for alot of people. Like all other bugs it should not be a reason to increase/decrease the weapons power and should rather be fixed.

Suggestion: Allowing queuing for multiple game modes

There's an issue in OCE (and I assume other regions) where everybody just plays quick cash. I don't think it's due to a lack of players, it's just that with quick cash you can always get a game quickly. If it's possible, I think allowing people to select multiple game modes when queuing would help fix this. You could have a fixed list of the game modes by priority (i.e. ranked cashout, cashout, other casual modes, then quick cash) and if enough players have selected a mode, create a match. Or you could have a dynamic (or partially dynamic, i.e. just the other casual modes) priority list that changes based on the recent frequency of that mode.

I know it's not a simple as what I'm saying, but I think it would go a long way to help with people playing other game modes. I think removing the estimated wait time was an attempt to improve this, but maybe has had the opposite effect.

Introducing some kind of homebase, or player housing would be great. Somewhere that you can chill in and decorate, Warfranne could be a good example of that. Either a space for the clan to have a cool chillout spot that's functional (with timed parkour room, or 1v1 duel rooms...).
Or a lobby for the player to have his own homebase, like the meatspace, and his VR/PC setup is the spot to start searching a game 🙂

My suggestion to fix ranked matchmakng:

Keep ranked the same how it is but for only plat and below. Once you’re diamond and above, ur games will instead be 1v1 matches (basicaly final round) only against other diamond and above. 99% of the time ruby full stack teams just grief in the worse team for an ez W anyway. Final round is supposed to be the first and second best teams at it.

This would mostly remove the issue of ruby and diamond teams sweeping thru every lobby

My main issue is ranked uses SBMM instead of RBMM.

Lobbies in silver / gold plat / whatever should pull from the SAME player pool for all players of that rank (in that region)

Ranks play with nearby ranks. If you're better than the average in that rank, you'll move up. Plain and simple.
Adding SBMM on top makes it so a good player's bronze lobbies are harder than a bad player, making the climb out of bronze harder for the good player.... Instead of getting them quickly out and up to their proper rank.

Also side note (and this is less of an issue for me) party stack size based matchmaking shouldn't be a thing. You SHOULD get an advantage by playing with a stack. Make friends, add people. Make a stack. The game makes it easy to keep playing with good players. There should be an incentive to stack. But now if i play with my buddies who aren't great we play against sweaty stacks cuz its trying to play stacks with stacks. Dumb. How can i introduce this game to people if they are gonna get shit on guaranteed.

I’ve been having a hard time with your matchmaking. I’m in mid Plat, and have been solo q’ing. All my lobbies are filled with ruby players with the difficulty called “easy” or “intermediate” resulting in quite a bit of -RS if you loose.

For example: Yesterday I got qued up with 2 low golds in a lobby against S3, 4 & 5 Rubies, with the difficulty Level: “easy” I lost about 1,200RS . I think the matchmaking is quite unfair at the moment:( Please fix ether the difficulty lvl, it’s quite impossible climbing without a 3 stack..
I don’t have a problem with playing against rubies, but atleast don’t make it THIS punishing Embark.

As a controller Player on PC, i really think there are some things needed, that are really stupid to still be in there after seasons! I still cant use the spectator cam, because I cannot remap the buttons, which are on the comm wheels for the old button layout.

The game’s matchmaking system still doesn’t explain to me the situation where, at the end of Silver 2, it puts unranked players on my team in solo queue. What do I have to do with people who haven’t even played a single match yet? I worked my way up here from Bronze 2, and when I get teammates like this, the system just slams me with a huge RP loss at the end of the match if we lose. How does this reflect my performance in any way? How does it make sense that the system matches me with players who are either brand new or haven’t played a single ranked match yet?

And how exactly does the game determine how much RP we lose after a defeat? I just came out of a match where there was only a 300-dollar difference between the second-place team and ours, and yet the game hits me with a –500 RP penalty because we got eliminated. What kind of rational logic is behind these numbers?

Or if you can’t build a proper system, then there simply shouldn’t be a solo ranked mode at all. Instead, there should be a hidden ranked system each season that only gets revealed at the end of it. That way, there wouldn’t be this many miserable matches and constantly complaining players... everyone could just play where they want and where they’re actually capable of. Because it’s honestly insane that I get better results in casual matches than in ranked. The whole system is nonsense.

Love the game. I only have two things I'd like to see.

1. The reserve is available in casual. As is, you have to click a thing in your loadout, and then select it from the list like normal. I'd like to see the weapons/gadgets in the reserve brought all the way to the left in the list and/or the ability to swap loadout items with the reserve by clicking loadout then reserve. It's just a small QoL improvement.

2. A small vote option at the beginning or end of a match to vote for who's the best dressed. No impact in-game whatsoever, but I think it'd be a fun way to give kudos to folks with cool appearances. That's all.

Serious feedback on Sword

I played Sword for about 1000h (hit rank 90 with it before) and a few things get lost in the heated "Sword is overpowered/unplayable" discussion.

First of all both sides need to be understood where they are coming from.

Yes in a casual lobby where people don't hit the important shots a Sword that is just running around and left clicking people to death seems absurd, overpowered and has little to do with skill expression.

The Problem is as soon as you cross the line of people investing enough time to hit even just a moderate amount of their shots left clicks become less and less viable and you have to learn combos and movement tricks to minimize the damage you take while maximizing the damage output. That's where the sword lunge comes in. Lunging is the part where skill expression shows with movement, spacial awareness and positioning. With reducing the damage AND introducing a rotation clamp the lunge becomes really clunky to use and less effective than the simpler M1 spamm.

So what can Embark do to fix the issue for both sides ? Put the focus of the weapon back on the lunge to reduce frustrating scenarios.

Second Problem, lunging through an entire team and dealing massive damage with very little counterplay should not be a thing. It is very frustrating to play against and extremely situational. It should be like other melee weapons. Left clicking less damage but can multihit and the "special attack" single target but is special in some way. Hammer has a single target high damage and destruction. Sword should have single target damage on the lunge but high mobility.

The rotational clamp itself got introduced to get rid of people 360° rotating through an entire team for a huge hurtbox and is without multihits therefore redundant.

I intentionally didn't talk about hit registration because it haunts the game as a whole but of course that increases the frustration for alot of people. Like all other bugs it should not be a reason to increase/decrease the weapons power and should rather be fixed.

M1 Damage 88 -> 74 (one more left click for each class)

Lunge Multihits -> removed
Lunge Damage 120 -> 140 (without multihits and less left click damage you need the combo breakpoint of 140 to have a fighting chance)

Let me be as clear as I possibly can. 25% win to the second round, doesn't mean a total win either, and a .61 kd ratio. IS NOT FUN.

Let me explain to you why;

LIGHTS take too much damage to kill, time to kill is horribad, weapons deal too much damage vs other classes. They never stay with the group in a group oriented game. Find a way to keep the lights with the group and not just out for kills/stats.
**MEDIUMS ** this is the most balanced class but IMO their weapons need to deal a slight damage increase to be effective comparatively. I would like to see the pyro mine and anti-gravity as an option on this class.
HEAVIES Is the most underwhelming. This class needs more health. This class needs better weapon damage, better weapon range, and clip size increases. The charge ability is so nerfed now compared to the past it's like a 50% deduction nerf it's so terribad now it barely goes any distance.

Class balance is a joke. The favor to lights is still too much and creates counter intuitive to the games core design.

We have the worst match making around. You pit the newest players solo qued vs a three stack que of players vastly out skilling. It's not rocket science to find a match making weight. Right now it only favors the good. You'll never retain new players. Smurfing is out of hand too.

As a newer player I've been against players Ruby, Emrald, Diamonds full stacks vs my solo que. I get bran new players and not even the smurf ones. How is this fun?

With 800 kills why do I fight players with 8,000 or upto 80,000 kills on their profile cards. This is cheating. Much like why we do not allow NFL vs highschool teams, that is cheating and your supporting this.

Increasing the spear primary attack damage by 5 would go a long way to making it better. 70, 85, 95 would place the 3 hit combo damage at 250, enough to kill a medium in 1 less hit, 2 hits would be able to kill a light, without making the ttk too oppressive against them, 4 hits would add up to 320, allowing for a heavy to be killed with a qm. These values would help the primary fire be less reliant on combos with the spin, which would improve its ability to chase people.

Also minor note but the ability to turn off melee lunge in a similar vein to melee aim assist would be appreciated

The dematerializer was so prevalent due to it being an amazing option regardless of situation. Chasing, stalling, pushing, holding, it was viable and fantastic in any scenario. The double barrel isn’t comparable, though it’s certainly very effective especially in lower elo lobbies.

You guys should have just kept your original plans for season 9 and just not listen to the crying lights and cheating ranked players before changing your mind. RS gain / loss is not balanced around time investment due to the knockout tournament structure, but the amount of it you get is correct.
It doesn't make sense to blame the game for where you end up being ranked, as it is a correct system, if not super precise.

Because sometimes it seems like it doesn't spend tokens to self revive while other times it does. And it also sometimes seems to cost tokens when someone dies and other times it doesn't. Well in the spirit of that guy ragebaiting about the turret, here’s some ideas for making it slightly more useful.

First off imo reducing cooldown after destruction, or increasing damage, range or detection speed is a death sentence. It’ll make it too oppressive. It already does fine in terms of dps and uptime.

So what I suggest, is add some flexibility to it. Increase the time to pick up the turret by hand slightly but make it immediately placable again like jump pads etc. Also scale pad pickup recharge with distance so if you’re pinned down you can still replace it relatively quickly from around the corner (down to a few seconds right next to it and maxing at full destruction timer out to 40-50m). Then as the cherry on top the arm time should be slightly faster on placement. These changes would allow it to be slightly more dynamic mid fight and easier to run with after a cashout finishes. And with that change to remote pickup, folks will be more likely to stick near their set ups. Shouldn’t be any more oppressive to fight but should also raise the skill ceiling making it more fun to play with.

Then, as a final fun idea others have suggested, remote control. I think if this was added then either the max cooldown on destruction would have to be longer or the health would have to be lower but it would be great fun and add a useful sentry option for scoping out the outside of your set up without motion trackers.

But whatever the solution I think most of us can agree it’s just lagging behind in usefulness among the other two options. Needs something.

I came up with a small improvement for the CL-40 and MGL-32. I suggest making aiming with these weapons more functional and useful. The solution is to pay a deposit each time you create an account. This deposit is blocked for x months. If you are banned, you are screwed, and everyone you have helped is also screwed. I have a suggestion for the V9S, R357, and 93R: please consider adding Akimbo (dual wield) versions for these pistols. To keep it fair and balanced, I propose:
Unlock Cost: Add an extra +300 VR to unlock the Akimbo variant.
Balance Trade-off: Using Akimbo should remove one gadget slot (allowing only 2 gadgets instead of 3).

Add a separate mode inspired by Quake, call it Hyper mode or Frag mode. People who played the og fast-paced arena shooters will know how it works:

1. All classes move at their sprint speed by default
2. Perfect hipfire accuracy for all guns (recoil still applies)
3. Double jumps and wall jumps and strafe jumps for all classes
4. Shorter match, cashout and respawn timer
5. One extra weapon in hand, no specializations
   (Optional: will make it more akin to Quake and Unreal Tournament)
6. No headshot damage bonus
7. All have same health and speed with 100 rechargeable shield

These are the baseline traits of these arena shooters. If released as a separate or event a LTM this would be a quite enjoyable mode that pays homage to the classic shooters back in the 90s

Please Embark, address the massive cheating problem in The Finals. Ranked isn't enjoyable for me anymore because I run across cheaters almost every game, I report them and nothing even happens. I even had a teammate who decided to cheat at the end of the game and was blatant about it. Dude was aim snapping on heads and I reported him only for nothing to happen. Do ya'll even care or is this game only for cheaters and sweats? On top of that, every game, even in "casual" lobbies, is a total sweat fest. The only difference is cheaters aren't nearly as likely in casual lobbies. Also, the little things are adding up and making it harder to enjoy the game. Things like, mantling or climbing without intending too, being forced to reload when your picking up something even with priority set to pickup, shots not registering on people in gun fights, and not being able to hear foot step audio. usually stuff like that happens more frequently in gun fights and is super annoying. Like, talk about a free win the enemy didn't deserve because of some bugs or polish being needed in some areas. Don't get me wrong either, I love the game or else I wouldn't critic the game. • Rework Cloaking Device into a Phasing Device instead, allowing for users to also move through walls at a massive energy cost, adding useful mobility tech

• Rework Grappling Hook to have lower cooldown if used to cross a smaller distance, just like Pathfinder from Apex Legends

• Rework Guardian Turret to instead deploy 2 smaller turrets with less health, damage and cooldown

• Let explosions and destructions create craters on the ground, as a makeshift cover in open areas allowing for trench warfare, similar to BF6

• Add a midair detonation trigger for MGL32 and CL40 with aim button, allowing for early detonation of the shots at 50% damage so that they can still be useful when out of position

Please add matchmaking for Powershift and Pointbreak. It happens far too often that I, as a Bronze player, am matched against Diamond+ players, which is simply absurd. Embark. I have countless times backstabbed for a fat 75 damage. I have countless times died behind walls or corners sufficiently covering me. Countless times, I have hit many shots, seen many coins, yet done no damage. Picture this. I'm playing quick cash on skyway stadium, and pink has their last cashout going with about 30 seconds remaining assuming these cashouts take 2 minutes in total. I'm using a dagger and dash because I would like to mess around and have fun. The cashout is in an elevator and I drop in from the top. I have my heavy attack charged up and ready to backstab. When I fall in, I see pinks heavy and medium. I notice as I'm falling the heavy has his back to the wall so I set my sights on the medium. It's perfect, his back is to the corner and I'm close enough to get behind him but not close enough for him to think I will. I dash in on my left, his right. I hit the backstab flawlessly, didn't hit too soon, didn't hit too late. He's clueless, facing away and turning to coins. Oh but wait, it's just the coins from the hit, he's alive and well almost full health. I die nanoseconds later due to his few shots of P90 hit, and of course the heavy is running it down with the flame thrower that only does 3 billion damage per tick (needs a buff). I am extremely displeased, however unsurprised and decide to watch the replay to see if the heavy saw something different and it was heat-of-the-moment seeing things from my end. I start the replay and as expected the heavy and medium are in the elevator. I drop in and the heavy starts his extremely high skill left click holding action. The medium starts his hip firing barrage and manages to hit me 2 - 4 times. I dash, going in for the backstab facing the medium, however either the replay, or my gameplay lied. I'm assuming it was my gameplay because the replay comes straight from the servers log if I'm not mistaken. I go on his left, my right. He turns even before I get behind him. Please invest in better servers.

Turret needs a rework; it’s clunky, doesn’t really mesh with other utility to form a meta competitive loadout, easily hard countered, low skill ceiling, punishing cooldown that creates black and white gameplay. My solution is to give medium two or three smaller/weaker turrets that are thrown just like mines. The general idea is that this would allow for turret to be more about information, and give it more outplay potential. It wouldn’t be a real kill threat. I think the aim tracking should be almost instant and have basically perfect tracking. I also think it should have full 360 target acquisition. I think this would not only make it more consistent, but make it more tactile in a game as chaotic as this. It would also use the old turret model but scaled down to fit on a platform the size of a mine. Some additional ideas; the first hit of a turret tracks an enemy for ~3 seconds and the tracking dart has a ~10 second cooldown until it can be activated again, a small/weak shield protects directly in front of where it’s shooting from but if you shoot the turret itself it breaks easily, keep the aim tracking really strong but still limit the turn speed so you can run circles around it to counter if you barrel stuff it, right click could also do something when holding the specialization out because mine throws only have one button (overclock, sonar grenade pulse, pick up/destroy through walls). I think this would be soooo much fun and I feel like it fits nicely into the identity of medium. Personally I love the idea of turrets in any shooter I play, but I just can’t do it with the current state of this turret. PLEASE EMBARK READ THIS 🙏🙏 and believe in me 😭

Serious feedback on Sword

I played Sword for about 1000h (hit rank 90 with it before) and a few things get lost in the heated "Sword is overpowered/unplayable" discussion.

First of all both sides need to be understood where they are coming from.

Yes in a casual lobby where people don't hit the important shots a Sword that is just running around and left clicking people to death seems absurd, overpowered and has little to do with skill expression.

The Problem is as soon as you cross the line of people investing enough time to hit even just a moderate amount of their shots left clicks become less and less viable and you have to learn combos and movement tricks to minimize the damage you take while maximizing the damage output. That's where the sword lunge comes in. Lunging is the part where skill expression shows with movement, spacial awareness and positioning. With reducing the damage AND introducing a rotation clamp the lunge becomes really clunky to use and less effective than the simpler M1 spamm.

So what can Embark do to fix the issue for both sides ? Put the focus of the weapon back on the lunge to reduce frustrating scenarios.

Second Problem, lunging through an entire team and dealing massive damage with very little counterplay should not be a thing. It is very frustrating to play against and extremely situational. It should be like other melee weapons. Left clicking less damage but can multihit and the "special attack" single target but is special in some way. Hammer has a single target high damage and destruction. Sword should have single target damage on the lunge but high mobility.

The rotational clamp itself got introduced to get rid of people 360° rotating through an entire team for a huge hurtbox and is without multihits therefore redundant.

I intentionally didn't talk about hit registration because it haunts the game as a whole but of course that increases the frustration for alot of people. Like all other bugs it should not be a reason to increase/decrease the weapons power and should rather be fixed.

Changes

M1 Damage 88 -> 74 (one more left click for each class)

Lunge Multihits -> removed
Lunge Damage 120 -> 140 (without multihits and less left click damage you need the combo breakpoint of 140 to have a fighting chance)

Ranked needs one less round. The current playerbase can't sustain proper matchmaking with 24 player lobbies. Cutting it in half with 12 player lobbies and 2 rounds would not only help with players being on similar skill levels but also relieve frustration for the casual playerbase from losing rs in 15 mins but gaining the same amount in 45 mins.

In addition to that 12 player lobbies might enable the possibility for a solo/duoque since the players needed for a match are halved.

Flamethrower loses in straight DPS trades - the key is for your whole team to ape the flamethrower when he tries to engage and you kill him well before he does substantial damage.

If you’re in a 1v1 against flames, you either need to land all of your shots (because virtually every weapon has better DPS than flamethrower, even riot shield can kill flamethrower in a 1v1 if you land 4 swings in a row) OR play good movement and stay out of their range.

Another easy win method against flames is to use a smoke barrel or smoke grenade, since this removes burn and they have to rely on only the direct flame damage which is surprisingly low without the burn effect.

On Point Break Mode its so unfair for the defenders the whole mode. As an attacker i always win, its too easy, you get the box, in 25 seconds its yours and you do it for 3 rounds (and its easy every round). As a defender you dont know when the match will be finished, you try too hard but if you fail once with the box, its almost impossible to take it back. Very unfair mode, you have to change the durations or idk, do smth else. All I know is every time i am playing this mode, i hope i will not go in as a defender.

Clubs & General stuff

• New Community tier club - Slots increased from 100 to 250 or 500. Such as for different country communities.
• Club filter on the leaderboard tab - Same as the friends option, but only shows club members in the current leader board (ranked/cashout/quick cash/point break/tdm/etc)
• Add an info box and the ability to write a club's description, instead of just showing the club is focused on 5 different modes and all ranks.

Contracts
Club contracts do not give anything other than XP and most people arent even aware they can pick them up. Make them worthwhile with extra perks such as cosmetics:

• Novice - spray with the club's name and the player, similar to the ones from tier 2 sponsorship rewards.
• Contender - gets a club emote that 2 players can tag along, showcasing the club name
• Pro - grants a jacket with the club and player name. A combination of the previous jacket for the quickplay gold rewards and the boxing top from s1 battle pass.
  Completed contracts past 50 - should award something on the jacket like 1 star per 100 contracts completed under the name. ###

The Light class is in a rough spot right now and often feels outright unviable in higher-level play.

1. Hit Registration Issues Hit Lights Hardest: Due to their extremely low health pool, Lights rely heavily on precise hit registration to trade effectively. When server issues cause shots to miss or not register properly, it completely undermines the class. A single missed shot often means instant death for a Light, while Medium and Heavy can survive the same desync and punish the mistake.

2. Worst Risk-Reward Tradeoff in the Game: Even in a perfectly balanced scenario (imagine two equally skilled AI-controlled players), a Light would lose almost every 1v1 against a Medium or Heavy. The only advantages Lights have are mobility and stealth, but these are easily countered by accurate opponents with better tools: shields, turrets, healing beams, heavier weapons, and larger health pools. Speed and invisibility don't matter if the enemy can track and burst you down before you can disengage.

3. Mobility Advantage Feels Underwhelming: If the Light class is supposed to be defined by speed and agility, its movement advantages should extend beyond just base run speed and grappling. Lights should logically climb faster, vault more quickly, revive teammates faster, and interact with objectives more rapidly. Right now, many of these actions are identical across classes despite Lights having significantly less health and no defensive tools. It makes the "high mobility, low durability" fantasy feel half-baked.

4. Health Pool Makes Certain Weapons Feel Unfair: Several Medium and Heavy weapons can one-shot or two-shot a full-health Light with little counterplay. With no shields or self-sustain options of their own, Lights have no way to mitigate this damage outside of perfect positioning and prediction. It creates situations where skilled Light players are punished far more harshly for minor mistakes than players on sturdier classes.

Please prevent large ranked gaps when duo/trio queueing in the game. Even if the lobby is balanced around total team RS, having one teammate that lacks can cause major issues all game. It's very difficult to play when teams have close to a 15k-20k difference in player's RS. • Add new mode: Free for All (Deadmatch). Similar rules like in the Team Deadmatch but everyone playing against yourself. If somebody gets a 30 kills then end game. TOP 3 players with most kills wins whole game (summary shows a stood on the podium Top 3 players). For every kill on somebody u got instant 100hp back. This gamemodes should be aiming at 8 - 16 people on a small fragment map.
• Nerf Poke Meta.
• Buff weakest weapons.
• Make this game better for new players (better sbm for new players - they shouldn't play with players with have 1000h game time). Block all modes for them, unlock step by s-step new mode, just make better progression/unlocking modes.
• And do something with Friendly Fire for ranked or add a new test mode: Friendly Fire Cashout or do something for testing pls Embark. Even 50% if not 100% Friendly Fire it's will be still interesting for this game at ranked, just test this, watch how this is have impact for game and do whatever.
• And do more more more fixes, updates, QOL, everything, ALL MORE (in my replies).

This game is great, but needs to be fixed, and it's can be better, Embark.. BE BETTER.

Request: Adding the option to choose a specific balance patch of The Finals in private matches

Honestly while I know this will have very niche use cases I think itd be pretty cool to say go back to season 2, and be able to pick a specific balance patch of The Finals in private match or go back to S1 and experience Recon Senses again. It'd also be pretty cool for preservation reasons being able to go back to specific balance patches and see how the game's evolved over time as well as play matches with friends using a specific patch of the game.

I know its probably a pretty crazy feature request but if its possible I'd love to see this feature be added (also imho this would be like 10x more preferable than any kind of "OG" season)

During a ranked match last night one of my teammates was playing as a light. In the intermission period between the 1st and 2nd round, his character was swapped to a medium class. Mid match. That should not be possible in the middle of a ranked game.

Additionally, following this, in the 2nd round all three of us had no coins despite not using any during round 1. The scoreboard tab showed us as having 15 coins a piece, but showed 0 when in the spectator screen.

Hard disagree. QM is needed for combos, if they aren't there, the weapon like DualB would suffer greatly when it's already not a great choice.
I'd look for a small nerf to Dash, maybe a cooldown between uses that's fast but not instantaneous, a charge less or less of a cooldown.

Edit: I'd look for an adjustment on how the deflected bullets hitboxes work. More often than not I try deflecting close range, but no matter if my crosshair is on the person that's also not moving, there are no bullets coming back at them because I stand a tiny bit too close to them, which is about 1-2 meters

Serious feedback on Sword

I played Sword for about 1000h (hit rank 90 with it before) and a few things get lost in the heated "Sword is overpowered/unplayable" discussion.

First of all both sides need to be understood where they are coming from.

Yes in a casual lobby where people don't hit the important shots a Sword that is just running around and left clicking people to death seems absurd, overpowered and has little to do with skill expression.

The Problem is as soon as you cross the line of people investing enough time to hit even just a moderate amount of their shots left clicks become less and less viable and you have to learn combos and movement tricks to minimize the damage you take while maximizing the damage output. That's where the sword lunge comes in. Lunging is the part where skill expression shows with movement, spacial awareness and positioning. With reducing the damage AND introducing a rotation clamp the lunge becomes really clunky to use and less effective than the simpler M1 spamm.

So what can Embark do to fix the issue for both sides ? Put the focus of the weapon back on the lunge to reduce frustrating scenarios.

Second Problem, lunging through an entire team and dealing massive damage with very little counterplay should not be a thing. It is very frustrating to play against and extremely situational. It should be like other melee weapons. Left clicking less damage but can multihit and the "special attack" single target but is special in some way. Hammer has a single target high damage and destruction. Sword should have single target damage on the lunge but high mobility.

The rotational clamp itself got introduced to get rid of people 360° rotating through an entire team for a huge hurtbox and is without multihits therefore redundant.

I intentionally didn't talk about hit registration because it haunts the game as a whole but of course that increases the frustration for alot of people. Like all other bugs it should not be a reason to increase/decrease the weapons power and should rather be fixed.

M1 Damage 88 -> 74 (one more left click for each class)

Lunge Multihits -> removed
Lunge Damage 120 -> 140 (without multihits and less left click damage you need the combo breakpoint of 140 to have a fighting chance)

Ranked needs one less round. The current playerbase can't sustain proper matchmaking with 24 player lobbies. Cutting it in half with 12 player lobbies and 2 rounds would not only help with players being on similar skill levels but also relieve frustration for the casual playerbase from losing rs in 15 mins but gaining the same amount in 45 mins.

although heavy is quite strong rn, i think that most of what your talking about is medium being generally weak, if ur using any gun other than repeater the class involves just healing your heavy until u get jumped by the whole team with no chance to defend yourself. id rather have medium be buffed instead of heavy and light nerfed

Embark im here to sugest some improvement for us controller players, and no, i'm not asking for some sort of aim assist buff, what i'm really asking for, platically begging is an improvement for the joysticks and how they feel in game, a true 0 Deadzone would be so nice to have, micro ajustments would feel mutch more natural. Other nice improvemet would be a higher x/y sensitivity already is 750 why not go higher like 1000? let us roller player turn even faster plz. Thank you

Embark why do you enable cheaters in your game? I'm going to list them since you ignore them for a few months, so much for "vetting" rubies. I've gotten 2K+ positive RS adjustments b/c that's just how common cheaters are.

buff pike (50 dmg per shot and 45m falloff start), akm (36 bullets), cloak (it was fine before you nerfed in season 6, revert the nerf and make it so that cosmetics dont affect invisibility), cerberus and model (actual dmg buffs, not some minor change to reload which was never the problem and wont change anything)
fix hitreg and servers
add a separate solo only q in ranked
make cashboxes disappear after overtime in ranked

revert famas/repeater nerfs and instead buff other medium weapons, light and heavy have much more viable meta weapons
