I don't understand the sledge nerf. You said that it was too good at melee but that's the whole point of a melee weapon. It has to be more powerful close range because if you're more than 2m you just can't do anything anyway. Now When I have an opponent in front of me the ttk is too long to do anything. Also when it's a light I literally can't do anything if I grab him with the winch because I can only swing once and he will get away since the combo with the melee doesn't kiil him anymore. The sledge is just useless then.
I mean I wouldn't give them heal ball AND heal beam, even if both were specs people would probably find a way to pick which one's better. But definitely if I were to do that, I'd do it that way around. Heavy getting a breathing item makes sense and medium getting healing support makes sense for what their classes entail. I do think there's too much healing in the game however for the watered down nerfed weapons to be truly effective but then maybe that's also just me XD
At the very least, allow for messing around in the practice range while waiting to load in. It's one of the biggest things Splatoon 3 improved over the previous games.

it seems that every pc player ive talked to said that their game has been non stop lagging. whether it be random lag spikes spanning for 2 seconds every few seconds or just a constant 20 fps. this is painful, considering a large amount of your player base is pc users i strongly suggest you find a way to fix this. i have the advantage in some fights but then i get a random lag spike and im dead. the game is starting to be unplayable. please fix this soon.

I think it would be cool to add a light upgrade system for abilities or weapons ā nothing too extreme. For example, Lightās dash could have two upgrade paths: one that gives you an extra charge (so 4 instead of 3), and another that lets you dash through walls once every 30 seconds. These upgrades could unlock at certain ability levels. I believe this kind of system would make builds more interesting and encourage players to experiment with different combinations.

Consider reworking h+ infuser to have more shots, lower firerate, lower healing, and instead of burning out then recharging give it a LONG reload. As it is currently at no expense to myself I can heal multiple times mid fight, Currently the infuser is OP but hard to use, it needs a nerf and buff to improve its usability while decreasing its effectiveness. Also if melee is meant to be any kind of viable all Melee weapons need a buff, especially the sword and the sledge.

It really just comes down to the fact that light and heavy have access to healing as gadgets, while medium only has healing available through specialization. Big difference (plus, heavy heal ball is aoe teamwide and light's hp/s is way higher than medium for single target, so healing beam pretty much just got powercreeped)

I agree heavy shouldn't have got healing. The just sit behind a barricade with their already 350hp and become Orisa from overwatch
you dont see a lot of people complaining about throwing knives or the revolver, both of them are high risk/high reward weapons. They are not as easy to play as any automatic weapon. Therefore they require more precision when it comes to aiming. Nerfing them would make them learning totally unattractive. Their damage is well enough to feel rewarding for the time you spent practising with those unique weapons.

Okay the lag spikes are getting pretty bad now. They used to be sporadic but now i get them every 15 or so seconds
Please stop adding badges and stuff tied to quick play. Everybody is so sweaty now and its not fun to win against these guys.
Also terminal attack sucks. If I wanted to play something like that I would go play siege or counter strike. Bring back bank it, it was really fun.

imo gadgets are a lot more interesting and add more variety than (non-gimmick) guns
breach drill especially combos very well with one of my loadouts, it allowed me to swap demat for heal beam
taking up a more supportive assist/support role as light has also been plenty fun, it will probably remain a mainstay in my future builds
please add more gadgets (perhaps with special consideration for combos) in the coming seasons

Can we get the option to turn off the matrix style scrolling text effect on the Ultimate battle pass head skins and the pixel effect on the Ultimate battle pass gun skins. I feel the effect spoils the skins a bit so it would be nice to make it optional. That said it would be nice if all the skins with a surrounding effect around the skin had an option to disable the effect. Or perhaps even add a customization slot for guns and outfits. A effects slot.

I have a suggestion for the Heavy's new healing ball to make it somewhat more bearable to fight against, especially in TDM.
(These are just my opinions and ideas and I am not demanding they be added ASAP, I would just like changes like these to be considered.)
my ideas are:
- Not allow it to heal "in combat" (getting actively damaged by another player) for at least 2 seconds after being damaged.
- Give it a limited healing amount (maybe 150-175) before it forcefully explodes and goes onto cooldown.
- A longer cooldown would also be appreciated, as currently it can almost be spammed around the place.
my reasoning is that healing beam for Medium forces you to sacrifice your currently held damage source (usually a gun) for a somewhat slow, but consistent heal rate. so at the very least I believe it should be able to persist through gunfire/combat because of the sacrifice of your own damage output you give to use it.
on the other hand, Heavy's heal ball is a constant passive heal, just like Medium's healing beam, but it requires no sacrifice on the heavy's end other than taking up a gadget slot and needing a bit of space on the floor.
I think these changes could make it into a more tactical "hide after a fight and behind cover" healing choice rather than an "in the action guns-blazing" healing choice like heal beam can be.

i feel as if the healer role for the medium has now just vanished with this new season yes you can pair it with other classes but when you can just get out healed by a gadget when the specialist for the mediums healing beam i just feel sorta useless for when i want to play medic role for medium it just feels pointless to me now
Couple of general changes I think are needed:-

The 'flashbang' blinding effect should not exist in its current state, both for the grenades and the breach charge**. Instead, a 'concussion' effect which gives an affliction of swirling, moving double vision effect meant to disorient**, not unfair because you can still somewhat see!
I think this would be a good change because blinding completely goes against the ethos of THE FINALS being a fast paced shooter, being full blind for 7+ seconds in a game where you can get killed in milliseconds is too punishing for a simple grenade or charge, where looking away doesn't even fully negate the effect properly. -
Reconsider and revert the Sledgehammer changes. The sledgehammer, being a powerful melee weapon on the slowest class in the game, should be respected the same way a sniper sightline is. If I see a sledgehammer user on the other team, I know to keep my distance and try to maintain high ground on them. A good player knows that counters are not just items but game sense.
Add onto this in that if I'm running sledgehammer, and I'm capable of getting the drop on someone well enough to pull of a combo on them, that is their fault for not respecting the melee user like they would a sniper's sightline.
Complaint: Since the beginning of the season, I have been UNABLE to launch Ranked mode. It takes an extremely long time, and I have NEVER been able to start a game.

Can you make it to where the thermal bore uses the sensitivity modification for scopes rather than sights? My sniper scope is low sens but my sights are way higher (I disabled fov scaling since I like to fine tune my sensitivity) but since it does't mimic the sniper scope option, but rather the regular optic option it is way to damn fast. Pls embark make it use the correct sensitivity option

Some adjustements that can be made :
Make healing orb like medic medigun in tf2, every 10 seconds it activates an ubercharge for the whole team that lasts 5 seconds and makes the invulnerable to damage and movement changing effects.
Also make the battle pass harder to grind so people will have more glory and be able to remember who the real ogs and supporters of this game were, we don't need everyone reaching past tier 30 of the pass

Hi Embark, i have a suggestion for a feature, it would be cool to have all kinds of emotes on the same wheel, meaning you can mix sounds, gestures, emotes instead of having 2 pages.
Also i think the spawn location logic needs a rework, i feel like only 3rd party happens.

Giving Heavy the ability to heal was a massive mistake. Light being able to insta heal literally anything in half a second is also incredibly insulting considering you guys keep slapping nerf after nerf on Medium's weapons.
Please reevaluate the roles and what each class should do/excel at.
They should remove the 20 tiers headstart and make the ultimate 20 euro. Or remove both the headstart and the 1000mb and make it 15 euro. Or even better give the player the option to choose what they want. somebody wants everything fine 30 euro. you want MB and Ultimate fine 20 euro. You want tiers and ultimate fine 20 euro.
Fix the invis on old gen, its genuinely completely invisible. Its completely unfair when compared to new genās āinvisā where you can still clearly see them

Disable defibs in TDM. Allow me to refuse revives. Buff all melee back up so itās fun and remove melee lunge so they doesnāt compete past melee range (as it seems like competition with ranged options is the primary concern,) buff winch back up as well but make it have a quarter second wind up and make it actionable by the victim throughout to balance it with the sa-12 and freshly useful melee. Remove terminal attack and replace it with bank it.
Also give me a suit of medieval plate armor. And we should have a perfect video game. I think 
now that sledgehammer has been nerfed the double barrel has been too strong with nothing to counter it so the damage should go down to 154 so they can no longer 2 shot heavies and give them a chance to fight against double barrel.
this doesnt change any of the shot combos since lights still die in 1 shot and mediums in 2

Add a boat load of progression skins. But like, cool ones I wanna use. The scales were cool in season 5. This and last seasonās were mid. Also amethyst skin would be cool for top tier progression.
The deep shuffle is a good edition but can there be an option to favorite skins and set teh deep shuffle to favorite only that way we can choose our cool skins to be on the shuffle instead of it choosing any skin

medium's zipline should have a right-click function that works like a grapple, but only on other contestants.
the medium gets pulled toward the contestant. the contestant is slowed, but can quick melee the line to break it or break line of sight (i.e., close a door)

Is there really any reason to delay?Sword and sledge were fine. They were never meta even before the nerf. They only showed up occasionally in WT and Ranked. Anyone playing just one match could see that.The fact that only a few use these weapons means the weaker players dropped off and only the skilled remain. Of course, skilled players perform well.
There are many examples of games ruined by listening to Reddit, self-proclaimed pros, and scrim groups who follow their own rules, so why are you trying to follow that losing path? Those people donāt help the game at all. If itās not the weapon they use, they just call it no-skill and whine for nerfs.
Nerf parrotsā arguments donāt make sense. Some idiot said you shouldnāt be able to lunge and dash, but you made the sword exactly for that. It has been designed that way since beta.
And the hammer is too strong in melee and needs a nerf? Hammer is supposed to be strong up close. It has to be. If the slowest class comes into melee range, it should be powerful. But now hammerās left click does 100 dmg? Itās the same damage as the KS you can use from a distance? Does that make any sense balance-wise?
The sword is the same. The DPS of melee is lower than that of guns you can use at range? Light classes only have 150 HP, and melee weapons must get close to deal any dmg.
Sword and hammer are melee. They require high damage output to compete with other weapons in close range.

Cloak needs improvement. Right now, it feels underwhelming you're still easily spotted from over 20 meters away, even while cloaked. Either reduce its visibility to make stealth more effective, or rework the mechanic entirely so it feels better to use. As it stands, getting revealed so easily defeats the purpose of having a cloak in the first place.
stop asking to nerf CL-40 before buffing any of the underpowered weapons.
CL-40 kills every class slower than Repeater, Pike, Revolver, and Model can. CL-40 is a projectile weapon with self-damage, and they just buffed APS to delete 5 shots before expiring. if you're repeatedly dying to it, you need to learn the counterplays.

Playing Powershift today with all the CL40 spam felt like I was playing Helldivers 2. Self damage needs boosting to punish bad positioning and let self elimination count as a kill.
Nerf medium overall. Every medium weapon but the melee weapons out perform every heavy and light weapon. CL, Cerb and repeater all 2 shot lights. DB barely two shots mediums and you have to be inside them.
Nerf cl-40, if you dont trust me. try to fight a triple cl-40 team. it's not fun

SoloQ Ranked experience It's the worst thing I've ever experienced in an FPS shooter... Matchmaking is fucking trash, i'm keep getting queued with a decent player and the other one with the gamesense of a rock, against full stack teams or 3 player that know how to play in team.

Light needs a nerf asap, but I think that's obvious. As a response to light being so much more useful, a lot of players started playing cl-40, with its pickrate rising from the dead to counter light, thus making a very unpleasant experience, especially when soloQueing.
A simple nerf to the light heal should make thing more balance, but I think reducing the cl-40 mag from 5 to 4 shot would make the game more enjoyable.
The cl40 is already bad enough. Itās not even meta, plus you can always use APS to counter it and for it to be truly good it needs to have a load out with mines in mind.
The weapon is meant to counter lights apart from them mediums and heavies can easily kill the player depending on the positioning.
Plus there is a lot of self damage with the CL so a great counter for it is meele or run up to them and hit fire
Undo defib and heal beam nerfs, then make defib a specialization and heal beam a gadget. You should have to make a sacrifice to run triple defib, its the most powerful item in the game and is a must pick for any medium that isn't throwing. Three sets of defibs with one of each spec is so ridiculously powerful. Also the cl40 is just ridiculously annoying, the fact that someone can jump back n forth in front of you and spam grenades at their feet and kill you is ridiculous. But in your opinion "the sledge was too powerful in close range" so ig that might be pointless to bring up

The game has been getting so much better the last few patches. The buffs and nerfs are very well thought out. I love that weāre finally seeing the burst in playercount on steam and by almost double. Great direction for the game, getting the cheesy stuff some balancing to not turn off the new players and the VRs cost.

The seed system needs to be deleted. no other ranked system is this opporessive. Players who do well and win games should rank up quickly and not be arbitrarily forced to win a thousand games bc it's been deemed "easy". Fix the spawns, holy crud almighty, ESPECIALLY on the new map. Full team spawns 50 meters or less from a cashout and I coin and I'm 120 meters away. Honestly, haven't had a fun game on the new map yet. Its visually appealing, sure, but I still get lost in the buildings and have no idea where I'm at yet.
Spawn locations this season somehow feel worse than previous seasons. Teams are either spawning directly on cashouts, or 5 miles away. There's no inbetween.
Citadel in particular has teams spawning and getting to boxes near instantly. Not sure if there's an immediate fix for this, but yeah definitely feels like spawns are a little scuffed at the moment

Sniper keeps spawning my bullets no where near where Iām aiming most of the time. Even on a big heavy thatās standing still 5 feet away i have it often miss when pointing directly at him. It feels more like gambling every shot because I donāt know where it will spawn the bullet.

U should be able to charge a riot shield bash by using the weapon inspection button where u hit ur shield with Baton as a taunt and a telegraph to charge shield bash and use it to get closer or knock(5 damage) them off structures
New move for dual blades inspect animations then hold alt where u sharpen one blade by dragging in to the other blade creating sparksš„ to do some fire or electric(stun/glitch) damage when the sparks hit and maybe make it into a mechanic to do a special move like u do a lunge duel slash after jumping cause the duel blade is kinda boring from a gameplay perspective š
the devs can sell different variations of blade sparks(different colours) but one should have it by default to set enemies on fireš„

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch
Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130
KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and either add a 1.2x headshot multiplier or decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120
Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and make it so we can bash people while blocking if they get too close and the bash will do no damage but will knock them back a bit but not too far maybe like 5 meters and increase the movement speed when blocking
R.357:Increase the bodyshot damage to 75 and decrease the headshot multiplier to 1.9 therefore making it 75 Ć 1.9=142.5 and also decrease the fire rate by a little bit maybe from 140 to 130
Dual blades: add a parry mechanic so it can parry secondary attacks of other melee weapons like the sledgehammers overhead charge but it can't parry the primary attacks of other melee weapons and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55 and increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and lastly increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit
AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose
ARN-220: increase the fire rate to 750 rpm, decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s
Smoke Grenade: decrease the ammo from 3 to 2, and decrease the cooldown from 50s to 20s

I think it would be cool to add a light upgrade system for abilities or weapons ā nothing too extreme. For example, Lightās dash could have two upgrade paths: one that gives you an extra charge (so 4 instead of 3), and another that lets you dash through walls once every 30 seconds. These upgrades could unlock at certain ability levels. I believe this kind of system would make builds more interesting and encourage players to experiment with different combinations.

Please can we get a setting for turning off the background announcer (not Scotty & June) while keeping contestant voice lines turned on? The announcer is really annoying and it got even worse with S7 because it has so much reverb and effects that it makes all audio sound muddy. I want to be able to only have SFX and contestant voice lines turned on so I don't have to read what every single ping is. If anything I think the background announcer should be under the "commentator" audio and not "dialogue" but maybe that's just me.
Also, please separate the music played when inspecting the "Disciple Of Sound" FCAR skin from the other music in the game. Turning off music will remove the inspect music too which I think is really annoying.

Not only is CL-40 not overpowered I think itās a throw pick and you people on here and on Reddit yapping about it are causing your own problem.
I only see people use cl40 as a rage swap (especially in powershift) and not once have I seen it result in a win. Folks just see that people are calling it overpowered and swap to it thinking that theyāll win instantly if they use the current āmeta weaponā not realizing that it has an abysmal ttk the maximum of which requires hitting directly every time and reloads extremely slowly (especially the first round on empty.)
Can you coordinate two or three people with the same cl40 loadout and make it extremely oppressive? Yeah definitely but you can do that with goddamn everything, do it with fcars or miniguns or ARNs and see how that goes. The same, itāll go the same.
If youāre having an issue, like with most things complained about here, try a different strategy. Although funnily enough if youāre coming from a more traditional FPS like cod the solution should be obvious. Shoot them back.

Riot shield needs to be made more viable. In almost every case where I use the riot shield, the dual blades would just be the better option. It doesn't seem to block damage correctly, you the damage output is slower and less effective than the dual blades.

The current approach to nerfs is going too far. Everything is getting weaker. Stop nerf.Just buff underperforming and unfairly nerfed things. Nerf parrots never stop. When something gets nerfed, they whine to nerf something else.
If you keep listening to people who ask for nerfs not because something is op,but just because it annoys them(cause skill issue), of course the game will fall apart.
If the Swordās lunge doesnāt go back to 140 dmg,itās just useless.If itās under 140,you canāt use it against Medium or Heavy at all.Right now, can't even use it against Light.That value was calculated and made sense in terms of balance.
Everyone knows Dagger,Sword and all melee get countered by Light.But you nerfed Sword while pretending it was for the sake of Lights, even though it was obviously done to benefit Mediums.

Medium has tons of tools to counter melee: turrets, mines, goo grenade, glitch trap, dematerializer, jump pad, zip line, proximity sensor, and a bunch of weapons. And still,these skill-issue players cry for nerfs to melee and weak wepon even though they already have all those tools.They just canāt handle melee because of a skill issue.
I play all class,melee was never a problem when I played Medium or Heavy(not to mention Light).But because of these dumb whining, stuff that wasnāt even meta got nerfed.Thatās how you ruin patches.
About Double Barrel,you nerfed it, then reverted it.Because Light has low HP, so it needs to have high DPS. DB is only viable up close, and it needs to 2-tap Heavy.That balance was correct, so reverted.
The same goes for Sword.Nerfing melee dmg is saying ādonāt use it.āItās the same mistake as with DB. Sword was built around close-range and low health.it required specific damage combinations for each classes.so lunge was 140.

Melee change ideas (these are just some ideas I have had, may be too much or too little)
Sword: 140 lunge damage. Phantom strikes are dead, so make it viable again
Dagger: increase backstab angle, itās just too punishing compared to other weapons
Dual blades/spear: no clue, just buff them somehow cause they suck
Riot shield: make it block or reduce damage from explosions, it is impossible to fight CL-40 with this
Also, make the hit detection more forgiving because half the time when I fight lights the stick just goes over their head or sometimes through them even when looking down at them at point blank range
Sledgehammer: buff left click to 110+, winch is the problem not sledge
This hammer nerf needs to be reverted, close range weapons need to be able to out damage long range weapons when they are in their optimal range, or else they are just totally useless.
If they canāt be good at close range then what is even the point in using them

The flamethrower is too overpowered. this is being said by a heavy main with well over 150 wins with the class. it makes the game really frustrating and just not fun to play, when it's just impossible (even as a heavy) to get away from a weapon that just involves walking towards someone and holding left click, no skill at all. while there are counters like smokes, I find that they rarely help at all and using up that ability slot can make you vulnerable to other classes.
add a ultimate battlepass upgrade from premium cuz i am not spending 20 dollars to get then multi bucks to buy premium then 30 to get ultimate. i may want ultimate later in the season but from where it is now i will now buy it.

U should be able to charge a riot shield bash by using the weapon inspection button where u hit ur shield with Baton as a taunt and a telegraph to charge shield bash and use it to get closer or knock(5 damage) them off structures
New move for dual blades inspect animations then hold alt where u sharpen one blade by dragging in to the other blade creating sparksš„ to do some fire or electric(stun/glitch) damage when the sparks hit and maybe make it into a mechanic to do a special move like u do a lunge duel slash after jumping cause the duel blade is kinda boring from a gameplay perspective š
the devs can sell different variations of blade sparks(different colours) but one should have it by default to set enemies on fireš„

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x and a slight increase in projectile speed.It needs to break smaller holes now that it's 2 shots,it doesn't have to break an entire block of wall but just enough so a heavy can go through.
Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.
Youāre not the only one to notice, in fact youāre pretty late to the party most people got thier complaining out about this before the season even dropped. But let me just point out why itās fairly priced in my opinion.
(Itās gonna sound like āgirl mathā but stick with me)
10/30: You pay 10 USD for the premium battlepass.
10/30: you pay 10 bucks for the 1000 multibucks (thier normal price) that are stacked on top.
10/30: the last 10 USD for the season long xp boost and 20 BP tier skips (these make it easy to grind for the elite skins), and 10 very well made skins that would on thier own cost 800-1000 MB (8-10 USD) per skin but due to the ultimate pass youāre getting them for less than 1 USD if you factor in the xp boost and tier skips value.
So is it scummy? Is it a scam? I really donāt think so. Although I think wether or not the ultimate pass is worth your money at the end of the day comes down to whether or not you like the 10 elite skins (and/or were already planning on buying the BP but want some extra multibucks to play with)

Now Cerberus, that was more like OP. The S7 nerf was all it needed to bring it into line where itās less frustrating to face but still feels good to use. But the others are really not that strong, just annoying.

I love your game ā itās truly unique and a breath of fresh air in the FPS scene.
However, the lack of proper balancing is seriously affecting my enjoyment, and I find myself wanting to play less and less.
Iāve been playing the Light class since day one, and lately itās become incredibly frustrating to make an impact. The class imbalance is growing wider and wider. The Medium class is a real issue: it has too much health, too much damage, and most of all, gadgets that are far too strong ā the revive, healing beam, mines, turret⦠itās too much.
Right now, if I want to consistently get top 1, Iām basically forced to play Medium, or run the exact same build on Light with invisibility every game ā which kills variety and creativity.
So please, instead of adjusting weapon damage by 2.34%, Iād really like to see patch notes that are actually impactful and meaningful to gameplay.

Can the lights get the 3 of the same grenades in the grenade launcher. Like they need longer load times or delayed shots. Sorry but i donāt have any weapon i can spam and hit a whole team with the same damage.

Delete the "deal N amount of damage to the arena" contract. It encourages players to pick heavy, bring a sledgehammer and completely ignore the game that is going on around them. Or maybe make a threshold how much arena damage can be done in a single match - otherwise contracts like this doesnt encourage natural utilisation of the game's mechanics but quite the opposite - encourages players to just forget the team, forget the game just to farm xp

TO EVERYONE SAYING SLEDGE DID NOT NEED A NERF, YES IT DID. The sledge last season did not need a nerf, but imagine old sledge with the healing nowadays. There would be ZERO counterplay. The slower time-to-kills are there because the sledge can get healed.

sledge has no kill potential now, heal ball counteracts any damage you can put out. SLedge needed a nerf to right click not quick melee.
Cloak is an issue.
It's weak compared to the two other light kits, but is very frustrating to fight when the light player stands still.
In my opinion, cloak should be a long range offensive gap closer which counters pike and repeater spam.
To do this, here are the changes i'd like to suggest :
- Increase cloak's base duration by 2-4s.
This will let cloak lights be less restrictive with their cloak usage and prevent them from being punished when they need to cross large long range sightlines.
- Increase cloaked movement speed by 10%.
This will allow lights to close the distance with long range poking enemies quicker and more effectively, while also letting the light use cloak as a bit of a traversal tool, so that it's not completely useless in that regard when compared to dash and grapple.
- Light should remain fully invisible at long range during movement, as he does now.
- Standing still due to any means for longer than 0,25 seconds should immediately deactivate cloak.
This is currently the main gimmeck of cloak, you sit and look at people from off angles untill they turn their attention away from you. It promotes highly toxic and annoying gameplay and should be removed. The previous buffs should compensate in giving cloak a new identity, one more reliant on countering poke-heavy comps and active stealth gameplay, rather than passive "stand stil and roach" gameplay.
Really wish there were in depth statistics, I wanna know how many carriable kills I have because I must be in the top 1%
Iād be willing to bet that the vast majority of people who are regularly in the top ~750-1000 on the ranked leaderboards have smurf accounts. They play with their friend to get the rewards for their friend, then their friend hops on smurf and plays with them so they can get the rewards.
Itās a really cool idea on Embarks part, but it has been executed in an abysmal fashion. I thought that it would be a sort of matchmaking flag, like a recruiter hits a button to opt in then gets matched with a new player who also opted in, keeping it all in game with low friction. If a new player is in this discord looking at the channel with recruiter ads theyāre probably past the 20 matches or whatever anyway.
@tired fable actually they arenāt. all classes mostly balanced in my opinion but u need to practice ur aim n movements to counter easily. no classes can get kills easily. im still so bad as a heavy, but i can get more kills with a light class. u need to practice more trust me

Smoke grenades are not working on the new map.. in any other map smokes becomes thick, but In Citadel it's see through, even after I chucked 3 of them, everyone can see through..

I still think the sledge needs tweaking, if not a total revert. Same with the sword, just remove multi hit. I am a light/heavy mix main but for ranked modes I tend to use heavy winch/sledge.
Here are some of the counters I lost to before, and even more now. Evasive dash and grapple, obiously. M11, xp54 (if they had the drop on me anyways). SHOTGUN, v95. Mostly because single fire weapons are less affected by the winch. The winch interrupts your shooting, but only for as long as it takes you to realize it, and click fire again.
Honestly a winch nerf would be understandable but I don't feel it's that OP. Some other counters are the charge and slam, the goo gun, the jump pad, the demat, and even just sliding. I cannot tell you how often people slide under my sledge swing. God forbid, the low gravity in game event is an entire counter to the class.
Literally the biggest counter to the EDIT* hammer is running. Most people stand and shoot before creating distance and thats how they die. Unless you are a light, there is no dying in one swing. And I promise you, every class and create a gap between first and second swing. And some people do, that's why I also run goo because I know once they win back a gap, i'm done for.
CC (crowd control) can be frustrating to play against, winch, lockbolt, plus a nice close range DPS can feel annoying if you hitting it without your team. But a sledge HAS to close the gap to do damage, which often means separating from the rest of the team just a little, and it opens up for a thousand team plays to remove me, the sledge, from the fight.
Do you know what team comp my team and I cannot win against? Triple med with at least 2 defibs.So we pick a different team to focus on.
Edit x3: honest ranked game modes could benefit from having item/class/gadget caps and maybe pregame ban votes. Like, in ranked maybe every person would need a different gadget/specs, no dupes. In world tour maybe no more than 2 identical gadgets/specs per team.

in the game please allow us to change the sensitivity of the scoped sight, because i play on gyro, and using focal length scaling makes the sensitivity on both the sights and the scope of the sniper too slow but then i do no scaling and set zoom sensitivity multiplier to 70% and the sensitivity of the sights is perfect but the sniper scopes are way too fast to use now
A-10 Thunderbolt Warhog Minigun skins are both lacking because they look like warhog but dont sound like it.

Just had to leave a match because every time I got into an encounter with an enemy I would freeze for a second or two and it COMPLETELY threw off the combat and made it impossible to play the match. Fix the servers or how the game operates. Anything to make it actually playable and enjoyable.

I feel the biggest problem with the system is that they don't give a cheaper alternative to the ultimate pass, like yes you get all that stuff, but you're not given the option to not get all the extra stuff, there's no purchasing the ultimate without all the tacked on price jacking, and it's very sad so see the game go down the path of ea and activision in terms of monetization.
I think it would be great for console players to be able to play keyboard and mouse, I believe when a game has crossplay it is a requirement for both players to have access to kbm and controller as I sometimes struggle to play against these keyboard and mouse players as I am more restrictive with my movement, if this was implemented it would make the game a much better experience for me and many other console players

Absence improvements for ranked, specially for solo players - thatās whatās really sad to see:
- Solos are still playing against full squads, putting them at a disadvantage while being treated the same by RP loss
- Parties are not restricted by point gaps, which leads to solo players being matched with duos that could have like 15k RP difference between them
- While there are some patch notes about removing the penalty for leavers, I just lost -784 points while finishing the match being completely solo in a ranked match... Why does it work this way? Why i should lose ANY points for finishing the match in solo?
- Lobbies are formed just to fill the game. I played my first match after calibration as Gold against a full Season 6 Ruby squad in anonymous mode
- Last season a few times I played solo as a 35k Platinum player against a full squad of the worldās top 6th, 7th, and 8th players. It looks like nothing has changed and this can still happen
- We still can't see the ranks of players in the lobby, even after finishing the match. Why are they hidden when it was so great to have that transparency in previous seasons?
None of these issues were fixed in the new season, which means theyāll be postponed for at least another three months

Healing emitter rework idea
I might be in the minority with this but I really don't like the homogenization of all the classes by giving them all healing options. I liked that each class had a distinct niche, medium was healing, heavy was shielding, and light was being fucking annoying. Now that every class has healing I feel like that niche is gone from medium being the utility/support class. But I have a suggestion to fix this (at least for Heavy)
I came up with the idea to turn the healing emitter into the "shielding emitter". It still generally works the same, It's a ball that once placed releases tethers to any nearby allies, but instead of healing them it gives them a shield. Now whether this is a directional shield, mini-dome shield, or simply a shield that's just an increased health pool would be up to Embark. The core behind the idea is that once you are tethered to it you gain a 300 hp shield (haven't thought too hard on the numbers they can be changed obviously) but this 300 hp is shared between every ally tethered and once the shield receives the damage it gets destroyed. I think this would make it distinct enough from the dome shield that they'd have 2 separate uses, with the shield emitter taking longer to set up and being more defensive and the shield dome being more offensive and for taking cash outs.
Anyways let me know what you guys think, there's definitely more ways to improve on my idea but the main concept is keep each classes "niche" to their respective classes. As for light I haven't really thought about what to do with the healing smg but I think they need to change that as well.
I think this is a bad idea. It really sounds like you are turning it into something that functions extremely similarly for a dome shield, and we are fundamentally at odds on "keep each classes "niche" to their respective classes", which implies that we should be arbitrarily limiting the scope of ways a class can be specialised which I strongly disagree with. The more variety in viable playstyles per class the better.
H+ Infuser may need to be looked at. Enemies become near invulnerable while stealing
If u wanna add heals and BULLSHIT. Make it to were u can only have one type of item per team every person on one team shouldnt be able to run a healing item, or a turret. Shits so ass. Wtf are you doing embark.
Breach drill flashbang should be a physical flashbang grenade that gets chucked a couple meters away from the wall before going off. The gadget is extremely hard to make work for more than popping a tiny hole in the environment.
Additionally, it being a movement-blocker is kinda wonky when you're trying to place it, since you can't be too close to the wall to deploy it. Also trying to run around it is clunky. I love the idea but actually executing its intended purpose as a direct assault gadget is extremely difficult and low odds.

It's just sunk cost fallacy.
People spent too much on a weak and failing product after many years.
People feel guilty and ashamed by it, instead of admitting it which tbh isn't that big of deal seeing what other games like cod or battlefield make people spend, decide to defend it because their entire persona and legitimacy now revolves around it šāļø
So they defend it no matter what, reason stops being important and what matters is keeping a straight face to not look like an idiot that spent hundreds on a free to play shooter that is currently as we speak getting ruined by the publisher and developers.
So i'd recommend to not bother with it, don't try to reason with them. They're easy to manipulate and won't change their minds. Just enjoy the game while it lasts, something else will emerge once it dies out because that is the way the market is.
Loving the āhealing metaā. Being able to quickly reset after a battle before the third party gets here has been so much fun. I am speaking from a casual solo queue perspective will definitely need to play more to get more thoughts on balancing, but thanks Embark great season so far 
Also, hot take, melee is still super strong Iāve been seeing people absolutely dominate the arena and I myself have still been finding great success with melee weapons even after the nerfs. They might be garbage in the competitive scene but in the casual scene melee is alive and well just my experience
Make us able to select favorite skins for the guns skin randomizer, maybe we wanna play with one specific set of skins and not our entire skin inventory.

I think that the recruit and rise program should allow for each prospect to have 2 recruiters. I got someone on the game and i want to be able to get the stuff and allow my friend to get the stuff as well. we are going to sit and do 40 matches with her together, so why canāt we both get the rewards for doing so since we are partied upā¦. Melee it completely fine right now, the balancing is set to a higher skill bracket. It doesnāt seem fair because 90% of the player-base thinks that melee should be a 1-shot flick. And with this, DB should have a small nerf; very oppressive and same goes for CL-40. I ask you guys to think about one thing. RPG is a good weapon and does 100 damage right? We see the CL-40 is basically an on impact RPG with 5 rounds because it also does 100 damage per shot. I will leave on that so just consider this.

sword currently has one of the longest ttk in a light vs light (and its not like your gonna be standing still) nerfing sword to 105 made no sense breakpoint wise and its near impossible to kill a light with a frontal lobe
first off, gut the double barrel. Second does the bow feel a bit to good to anyone else, like not op or anything but like just a little to good. 124 max body shot and with pretty fast charge up and decent projectile. maybe i just suck but it feel like it could use a slight tone down, maybe like 115 body or a slower min firerate

New light and heavy gadgets desperately need a nerf
Quick melee should be a "bonus" in melee and shot gun weapons damage calculation like guns headshot.
Most player would not say R357 has 148 headshot damage so it makes this weapon broken or OP in this game.
That is the same thing about those shotgun and melee weapons.
Sledge sword m1887 ks23 nerf are ridiculous.
Is not those close range weapon damage too high, the true problem is a lot of players don't know how to keep distance, expecialy new players.
I've played this game above 1500hr from beta, when I play range weapons, keep distance is the easy thing.
I know every map looks like and know where probably have enemy team.
Save movement gadget and use spec to keep my distance advance in cqb fight.
But the new player or casual player dont!
So, they will keep complaining ahh sledge is impossible to win, flamer is too OP, how can I beat the riot shield.
That is embark's problem, this game lacks good way to learn in the game.
The casual or new player would never know how to play his weapon, and never know how to easily win the fight.
I have seen a lot of 1000-wins players still play like a rookie, just run into room and be close weapons one shot kill, and loss fight.

Right now, everyone sees their own character in the center at match start. Itād be great if everyone saw the same thing ā that way, being in the center would actually feel meaningful.

I think it would be cool to add a light upgrade system for abilities or weapons ā nothing too extreme. For example, Lightās dash could have two upgrade paths: one that gives you an extra charge (so 4 instead of 3), and another that lets you dash through walls once every 30 seconds. These upgrades could unlock at certain ability levels. I believe this kind of system would make builds more interesting and encourage players to experiment with different combinations.
Peoples issues with sledgehammer, werent with the actual sledgehammer but rather the winch claw.
As a non winch claw player, this is absolutely horrible, dash lights are an absolute pain in the ass to kill because it takes the right click so long to get damaging frames.
And a heavy, I dont know where the logic is that my weapon that can only damage someone three meteres away, has less ttk in those three meteres then someone with a long range weapon, where is any of the logic there.
Please I beg, just bring the sledge back to a usuable state and nerf the winch far more.

as a medium main, REVERT cl40 buff. its stupid. people that are defending it are stupid. dont talk about it having a slower ttk than other weapons because its an AOE weapon, meaning you dont have to get a direct hit with it to do damage whereas with hitscan weapons you do. either revert it to what it was before its buff, when it was still a good weapon and not oppressive, or up the self damage and double the range that you take max self damage from it to reduce its use point blank.

ALL of you whining about the cl40 now know what it's like to get two shot by some light halfway across the map,or some invis š using the double barrel or the m11. Get better and deal with it. Run APS,use your little stun gun, whatever. As a medium main I have no problem with countering a cl, I DO have a problem with some light coming in, doing200 DMG in the blink of an eye then going invisible again and running away,or using dash or grapple to run off not providing any sort of fair fight. So now the shoe is on the other foot and you want to bitch? Get good
After dozens of games I realised current game problems: cl40 is quite strong on low skill matchmaking, but the further rank up the worse it gets, the projectiles usually donāt hit the opponent, even the understanding of weapon is quite fuzzy, cause opponent just need to jump to half or almost completely negate the damage of it, Iād suggest to fix the range check, sometimes lights dash right throw it, like they have dark souls dodge. Second: h+, lights can easily hit the shots due to the perspective, and the speed is insane, this is completely disgusting to see from the opponents, but is extremely fun to use, as I donāt like any nerf u got to the game I hope u will buff other healing gadgets and spec on other classes. I also would like to see more precision scopes, like for pike, and actual modern weapon for medium, as other weapons looks not original and kinda boring to use, we already saw it in many other games, but I like Cerberus, Cl is good for the finals, these are lovely unique, and I started to use them not long time ago. Maybe high rate of fire will be good to see. And I want to say the quick match turned in the complete mayhem as everyone respawn extremely quick, there a not possible to test different load outs cause ones you wipe the team, they will change the load out and destroy you, but for ranked thereās situations you canāt do very much, u get crushed by opponentās loadouts, even avoiding them wonāt help much, changing at least gadgets would be nice, and for the world tour: the ranks is a mess, sometimes itās so easy that gets boring, but mostly itās tilting of nerds with beam accuracy, u canāt 1v1, itās not a skill issue, itās gold vs diamond, somehow got to your match. Hope for the nearest patch to continue enjoy the game, otherwise itās the way to destroy my mood
Nerf/rework the CL-40 please.
Not because its op, but because its very unfun to play against.
You don't see ping markers from where the shooter is because the grenades may not land in a spot facing them, and the way the gun works forces the shooters into one mindless strat of lobbing them towards victims from a medium distance while spamming hops. It deals arena damage, but not enough to make the amount of shots needed to break stuff consistent or fast.
The nades dont exist long enough to setup some trap shenanigans and You can bounce the nades off walls but everyone moves so fast that its very very rare to be effective.
The entire gun is amazing for and against new to mid level players (and lights) and falls off hard when you encounter someone with good aim. Its only existence is to terrorize newbies and make them quit the game. You killed melee for very similar reasons, but refuse to do the same to a much much bigger problem?
I believe it would overall be much healthier for the game for the CL to be changed to be more viable for arena destruction by upping its damage against those things (and making the explosions more consistent with what they damage) while making it more punishing to use against other players. (Or greatly lower magazine size and lower grenade speed to make it more punishing to miss. You know, like the KS with its petty 6 shots for a gun that needs to kill a heavy in 4)
Maybe add a sticky mode or something to create outplay potential, ANYTHING other than its current place in the game would be an improvement.
P.S: Oh and the h+ is on some funky timing, that one is VERY overtuned. I suggest having the current healing be locked behind headshoting your teammates with the thing and bodyshotting should give a little less to promote skill expression with the gun and make it not as mandatory for mid-engagement.

Sledge Buff:
Light swing +5 damage. Would bring damage up to 105 which would allow for one shot combo potential on lights and medium. Still a 3 swing to kill heavy with a melee.
Right swing +21 damage, would bring it up to 175 which allows the potential to two shot heavies. Doesnāt really change much with medium combos, and lights obviously still š.
Not having atleast some one shot potential makes the weapon absolutely useless and more of a hindrance to your team in ranked matches. These changes would atleast make it more viable in a competitive scene.
They also still allow for new healing gadgets to be somewhat useful and just being near one will save you from being one shot or two shot.
Pre Nerf, most commonly got counter by light dash, demat, jump pads, zip lines, grapple, stun, running away.
Post nerf, everything pre nerf, and now heavies and mediums just being alive.
Donāt see why meleeās canāt be apart of the game? Sledge takes time to learn you canāt just pick it up and be good. Is it annoying to play against? Probably, but there are so many ways to counter it.

sledge just needed its quick swing + quick melee combo to not instakill lights. That combined with winch was just way too oppressive. If the light doesn't have dash they just die, no hope for anything. just leave quick swing at 100 dmg and revert the rest.

sledgehammer was already nerfed with the addition of healing gadgets for every class, especially combos which are designed to do just enough damage to kill. People usually dont complain about the sledgehammer in itself, they complain about the winch claw+sledgehammer. If you want to fix this, make the synergy worse. Don't just nerf the sledgehammer. It makes it so people who didn't use winch claw are forced to use winch claw, making the problem even worse.
It's insane how clean one's backstabs can be yet somehow it's not a backstab... Also the game is crashing like crazy

Shut up about the grenade launcher, its a grenade launcher, tfrick you want it to do? Not explode? It is great for dealing with lights who use that dash. There are so many situations in which the Medium cannot do anything, the grenade launcher is a great response to these situations.
Lights, who are faster than you no matter what, may try swording you to death, paired with the dash, this puts the medium at a massive disadvantage. Like the shotguns, the grenade launcher can fight back.

Yeah. Plus the cl is one of the lower TTK weapons on medium. And you can run up close to them as a counter due to self damage.
And even then you can have someone run APS turrets to make the cl useless. The main reason why the cl is used this much now is because every other light counter kinda sucks now so the solution to see less of it would be to buff the other light counters rather than nerf the cl. Plus if you truly want it to be really good you need to run demat and mines.

Because one CL is fine. Same with one FCAR. Even three FCARs aiming together is manageable cause it takes aim and recoil control. Itās strong but fair.
But three CLs? Thatās just BS. The team has 15 grenades with some timing, firing nonstop. It turns into an apeshit penis explosion chamber simulator where even mediums and heavies get nuked instantly with the slightest bit of coordination. The audio pollution, screen shake, and destruction spam makes the whole match feel like a joke and itās just super bothering, which many people donāt actively consider but subconsciously register as part of the weapon.
I personally donāt mind the weapon on its own. My biggest issue is how loud and visually overwhelming it becomes in multiples. If anything, Iād suggest slightly buffing direct hit damage and nerfing splash, so it rewards aim more than spam.

Now stay with me here Iāve been pretty vocal about the cl-40 being basically fine if not straight up not that good and the complaints basically being a social issue as well as an issue of balance outside the weapon (namely kicking down close range options.)
THAT BEING SAID. Iāve seen a lot of people say not that itās overpowered but that it isnāt fun to fight against, which resonated with me. I thought of the EPG from from Titanfall 2, this is essentially a rocket launcher that one shots players on direct impact at any range. But the catch is the projectile is a massive glowing blue ball that moves very slowly. So even if you do get beamed with it you have a moment of āoh shit!ā before it happens where you can see the ballās trajectory and why it hit you.
THIS is what we need across the board but especially (if Iām reading this channel correctly) on the CL-40. The projectile speed needs to come down and the projectile itself needs to be easier to see, an outline, a glimmer, a stronger trail, something. When you donāt know whatās happened you cannot decide how change your behavior to improve your performance. When you do understand whatās happened even if you lose itās a learning experience.
Readability is the key to many major frustrations in this game currently. To name a few the lack of windup on the winch, the lack of killcams, lack of grenade outlines or indicators for visibility, issues with sounds and damage effects not applying consistently leading to sudden unexpected ambushes or deaths. Hell this was the issue with the sword lunge, it wasnāt the damage output it was the dash combo that meant by the time you saw the light you were already dead.
How many times will stats be tanked to try to rectify quality of life issues? I emplore you folks at embark to take a closer look before making balancing decisions, not everything can be fixed with damage changes.

my thoughts on the grenade launcher (medium)
all you need is general aim to really use this item, although you can just use an APS to counter it, counterplay quickly fades away once you carry a data reshaper. this weapon provides easy accessibility with seemingly no drawbacks if you're opponent doesn't know to run up to you. which is impossible if you're playing at a range using heavy or medium, and you'll be quickly shredded as a light.
im not going to complain that it should be gutted or nerfed im only providing my thoughts, but it is very oppressive in casual play, which can make it very frustrating to play against. (yes, i am a filthy casual)
it isn't effective against a sniper main, so if you're one of the a million people who actually dominate with the sniper because of your really good aim, there's no need to complain
it shouldn't really be effective against light's evasive dash unless the opponent somehow reads your dash maneuvers

Almost every match there is always either a player on my team who is AFK (but moves juuuuuust enough to not get kicked) or a player who is 0-14 and talking trash to his teammates or outright attacking them with nades. Cl-40 is broken now. very few things counter it and it is too easy to get kills, not to mention that it does not require much aim almost at all to be even remotly good. If I would say anything for CL-40 and what it should be, I think it's structural damage should be raised to 2-3 shot a wall as it could be really good for blowing up buildings but it's damage should be nerfed by like half to have it make sense. not every wepon needs to be a destroyer of opponents, but a tech option to add to a kit of damage gadgets.
im pretty sure you could take kyoto out of the game to fix it and not one person would complain. food for thought
The last round of a tournoment needs to change somehow. I just played a World tour on SEOL and we lost the first cashout. Then they got the second cash box to the side of the map with a bridge and defended it for 15 minutes. It was just not fun at all. There needs to be some insentive in the final round to keep tings moving. Idk maybe open a second vault if things go on too long without a cash box being deposited. The people we played against didn't do anything "wrong" becasue that is how the game works but it was super NOT FUN. We all just ended up leaving early because we stoood no chance and didn't want to spend 15 minutes trying to get the cash box. Seol sucks btw. Your only options to get to that side of the map are a bridge that can be broken, or a super open area that you can just get sniped trying to cross. That map design is so frusterating.

The difference between the cl40 and the epg is that the epg oneshots players
and the cl40 already has abysmally slow projectile speed which should go up if anything, to allow more direct impact hits to be viable
honestly the cl40 should get 25% inc projectile speed and it's damage should be reworked to only do a maximum of 80 on a splash hit and 120 on a direct hit

Cause devs are dumbass keep adding weird shit to adjust CL-40. Also they never addressed actual meta weapon like pike, famas and make this game rooftop camping simulator as possible. I do agree, CL-40 is little bit busted right now but it definitely takes some skill to deal with unfavored situation.
I think that next season the ultimate edition of the battle pass should cost players 100 dollars with options to finance.

the heal meta is alright but it does feel like mediums heal beam which is a specialization is worse than both lights heal smg and the heavy heal ball, suggestion :

Why and what would this even do?
by making mediums pick between dmat and defib, you are making them fully focus on support with defib or being more versatile by picking dmat but not both, while at the same time making the heal beam on par with both of the other classes heal gadgets and making initial kills far more impactful without the fib as a gadget (which has been a must pick for mediums since S1)

I just thought of a game mode that would slay, 4 teams of 3 from 4 different sponsors. You have a map like the new one you just made with 4 different sponsor buildings. Cash boxes randomly spawn in the middle area, whoever has the most cash at the end of the 15 minutes wins, you can steal your opponents money as well to add that extra oh shit element.

And the hammer is too strong in melee and needs a nerf? Hammer is supposed to be strong up close. It has to be. If the slowest class comes into melee range, it should be powerful. But now hammerās left click does 100 dmg? Itās the same damage as the KS you can use from a distance? Does that make any sense balance-wise?
The sword is the same. The DPS of melee is lower than that of guns you can use at range? Light classes only have 150 HP, and melee weapons must get close to deal any dmg.

The most op weapon is throwing knives because it's so hard to react with charge shot, you'll dead before you can do a thing,

Do you have Easy Anti Cheat added to antivirus and firewall exclusions? Check windows event viewer, will show if itās EAC error or not
- Add a new quick melee variant: Flying kick.
Using quick melee while jumping will instead use a kick that deals 60 damage and has a slight knockback. However, using it will keep you unarmed for longer than usual as you can only use your weapon again after touching ground. Very helpful for creating a distance between you and your predictable enemy while also dealing enough damage to reduce breakpoints.
- Add a secondary weapon slot that takes up 2 equipment slots.
You can swap to the secondary weapon when needed (e.g. running out of ammo, engaging enemies camping far away when your current weapon doesn't have enough range to do so, or vice versa), therefore granting a choice between utility and flexibility.
- Remove visible enemy healthbars.
Make enemies identifiable by their body outlines only, because sometimes it's too easy to track enemies from far away without needing to see them properly. Also when enemies see low health bar they recklessly dive in to finish them off, which makes 1v3s much more unfair. Removing enemy healthbar would make them think twice before doing so and actually count their shots.
- Remove all terrain destruction from Terminal Attack, as well as any equipment and specialization that are useful for breaking walls. Or just replace Terminal Attack with Bank It.
The normal modes are already destructive enough, as a more tactical mode Terminal Attack should tone down the chaos and instead focus on using the environment effectively. Or better yet, why not just bring back Bank It? With all the destruction this game advertises, Terminal Attack just feels out of place unlike Bank It, with the high stakes and all that.

The light healing smg heals way too fast. Strongest gadget bar none. Itās a full bar of health in half a second at any range. Easy to avoid crazy cool down rates.
So I'mma going detailed version of this. In fact, S6 buff was kinda....busted. Purple line is what current damage falloff of range and green is S4. You see, Red part(before S6) was changed into purple part(Current), and now it's having similar value of Green(S4 peak) line where people crying about "CL-40 missing a shot but still getting full 100 damage" until 0.6m. And, tbh, 0.6m in close range is not that much hard to land. Also, Up to 117 theres nothing meaningful change in BTK so basically we are having S4 CL-40 for at least 0.6m right now. Again, giving more leverage for missed shot makes this gun BUSTED LIKE S4, but nobody used this since there are Cerb and pike why do you use this unreliable shit? But for now, Both model and Cerb went mid level(I don't think both is mid, cerb still do well I think) so only run-and-gun option for med is CL-40 which busted in close combat. SOOOOO HOW DO WE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? SIMPLE, TURN MAX DAMAGE RADIUS BACK TO BEFORE (0.3m) AND PLEASE GIVE EXTRA DAMAGE FOR DIRECT HIT. tldr; Yes it's currently busted in close range, almost same value with S4 buffed CL-40. And dev keep refuse to add direct hit damage and I don't know the reason.

Not much of a change? Itās right click went from a trembling 200 to 154,this nerf not being the breaking point of it. Itās the swing also being nerfed to 100 making most and all viable combos obsolete, which matter a lot for weapons that must be in close range just to get value in a fps shooter. Especially against mediums where they can just spam a grenade launcher at their feet and still kill you, even over half their rifles can easily kill a heavy in its own melee range. Yes itās bad.

U should be able to charge a riot shield bash by using the weapon inspection button where u hit ur shield with Baton as a taunt and a telegraph to charge shield bash and use it to get closer or knock(5 damage) them off structures
New move for dual blades inspect animations then hold alt where u sharpen one blade by dragging in to the other blade creating sparksš„ to do some fire or electric(stun/glitch) damage when the sparks hit and maybe make it into a mechanic to do a special move like u do a lunge duel slash after jumping cause the duel blade is kinda boring from a gameplay perspective š
the devs can sell different variations of blade sparks(different colours) but one should have it by default to set enemies on fireš„

Please revert sword, sledge and dagger. The nerfs to these weapons make them little more than a joke.
Also buff Dual Blades, they really need it. They have been the worst weapon in the game for seasons. I have some ideas on this.
Increase the damage of the first two hits to be the same as the second two hits, then add the same increased value to the second pair of hits.
Next, allow sliding while in deflect mode, and reduce the slow while holding deflect.
Finally, increase the damage of the last attack by a good bit, and reduce the delay. It isn't worth using most of the time due to its long delay, and poor damage output. It is instead better to restart the combo currently. Increasing its damage and reducing the delay gives more incentive to actually use it.
Also maybe consider a lunge type ability with the dual blades? It cannot approach as well as riot shield can, and loses health while deflecting. So it could use some mobility to compensate.

I think it would be cool to add a light upgrade system for abilities or weapons ā nothing too extreme. For example, Lightās dash could have two upgrade paths: one that gives you an extra charge (so 4 instead of 3), and another that lets you dash through walls once every 30 seconds. These upgrades could unlock at certain ability levels. I believe this kind of system would make builds more interesting and encourage players to experiment with different combinations.

Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch
Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130
KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and either add a 1.2x headshot multiplier or decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120
Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and make it so we can bash people while blocking if they get too close and the bash will do no damage but will knock them back a bit but not too far maybe like 5 meters and increase the movement speed when blocking

The game often feels like third party simulator which is somwhat fine but very frustrating because you simply cannot tell or predict when a third party is likely to strike because of the randomness of spawns and chaotic environment the finals offers - an idea i have to make third parties a bit less frustrating might be an indicator mechanic that warns you how many teams are nearby in a certain radius but only if there is more than 1 other team - coins might work more predictable if people would spawn directly on their statue or at teammates but obviously with some balanced draw backs like visual timer so enemies could prepare on that

About Double Barrel,you nerfed it, then reverted it.Because Light has low HP, so it needs to have high DPS. DB is only viable up close, and it needs to 2-tap Heavy.That balance was correct, so reverted.
The same goes for Sword.Nerfing melee dmg is saying ādonāt use it.āItās the same mistake as with DB. Sword was built around close-range and low health.it required specific damage combinations for each classes.so lunge was 140.

So I'mma going detailed version of this. In fact, S6 buff was kinda....busted. Purple line is what current damage falloff of range and green is S4. You see, Red part(before S6) was changed into purple part(Current), and now it's having similar value of Green(S4 peak) line where people crying about "CL-40 missing a shot but still getting full 100 damage" until 0.6m. And, tbh, 0.6m in close range is not that much hard to land. Also, Up to 117 theres nothing meaningful change in BTK so basically we are having S4 CL-40 for at least 0.6m right now. Again, giving more leverage for missed shot makes this gun BUSTED LIKE S4, but nobody used this since there are Cerb and pike why do you use this unreliable shit? But for now, Both model and Cerb went mid level(I don't think both is mid, cerb still do well I think) so only run-and-gun option for med is CL-40 which busted in close combat. SOOOOO HOW DO WE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? SIMPLE, TURN MAX DAMAGE RADIUS BACK TO BEFORE (0.3m) AND PLEASE GIVE EXTRA DAMAGE FOR DIRECT HIT. tldr; Yes it's busted in close range, almost same value with S4 buffed CL-40. And Embark keeps refuse to add direct hit damage and I don't know the reason.

imo cl-40 should rather have its self damage adjusted, as getting in their face to punish them isn't impactful enough
currently self damage is 125 at point blank, so if they have any distance at all, they can 2 shot a light without blowing themselves up
jumping reduces the self damage of a shot aimed right at your feet by ~45 (to 80), which is enough to barely survive 3 of your own shells
(and in most situations you are not aiming right at your feet, but a bit away from yourself, making survival even more likely)
it should not have its old 1.7x self damage multiplier back
i think it should have a bigger AOE in which it deals its current max self damage (this should avoid being overly punishing outside of direct combat, while making it a more reliable counter)

On the other hand, melee and some shotguns need buffs.
Love that console players now have text chat. One small issue with it is the small line for it stays on the screen after typing and no matter how many times "B" is pressed to cancel. Also, sometimes the chat window will disappear in some instances (need to pay more attention to what it is but think it's when another team mate dies) as a player is typing and it will erase the whole message.

I recruited a friend, a newbie, we played a few matches together, but the game disappeared from the list of recruits. We kept playing matches together, but it didnāt count toward the progress.
If the recruited player goes past 20 matches, are they automatically removed from the recruitment group? Itās kind of hard to make progress otherwise, since if the friend keeps playing solo, they get removed from the recruited group?
I still donāt get it, and I think ā20 matchesā is too low.

EMBARK, thank you, at first glance you have made a good patch for sledge, which does not take away most of the possible combinations and leaves sledge playable. I think, that its not a best solution of problem about high swords damage. My suggestion is about adding a stepwise damage reduction like Charge & slam (140-100-60-40-0) Instead of reducing the damage of the second attack. If you think this is the main problem with the sword, then I think this solution will be the most balanced and suitable for many players who prefer sword for close combat.

I was playing light last night carrying a medium with defib and heal beam and i got a higher support score because he literally didnāt use them once the whole game. I was beyond excited for the new update ā Iāve been counting the days.
But what started as pure hype quickly turned into deep frustration.
Iāve been in love with THE FINALS since Season 1. Itās fast, fun, chaotic in the best way ā a game I truly looked forward to playing every day. But this update, and more specifically the nerf to the sledgehammer, has completely killed that excitement.
The heavy build already struggles when caught in open areas and under fire. The sledgehammer was his high-risk, high-reward trump card ā and now thatās been gutted. Youāve taken the one thing that made close-quarters Heavy play feel rewarding and just tossed it aside.
Itās not about being overpowered ā itās about having a fighting chance in your own role. And right now, that chance is gone.
I genuinely hope the team reconsiders this change. From someone who absolutely loved this game: please donāt let this be the update that ruins what made THE FINALS special

World tour the past week has been genuinely unplayable by the amount of people just spamming grenades and its not fun whatsoever.
Any counter play just gets shafted by a light spraying the aps turret down or the fact that like having 2 of the grenade launchers just nukes the aps anyways
It just turned the game into a complete sweat fest where you either join the grenade spam or lose every round
And they forgot Heavy's free RPG damage, Winch Claw's Stun effect (while Stun Gun got reworked) and Lockbolt.

After using the weapon for 2 days straight, I can honestly say, its like you people don't know how to adapt. I had a dude place an anti-projectile turret in his area and completely deny my ability to attack. This thing crushes lights like nothing else ||deserved||but also crushes you like nothing else. Legit, I've had people just run in front of me, and get me to eliminate myself. If the enemy is high up, I haven't been able to attack them without using a jump pad, because this thing lacks range.
I will continue to use this weapon more, both, as a justice, and to learn more, but as it stands now, anyone hating this weapon doesn't seem to know what they're talking about.

APS deletes grenades through walls. So place it behind cover. You can pick it back up and redeploy it to regenerate its health, too.
When fighting CL-40 (even without APS):
- Take the high ground.
- Jump over the explosions.
- Just out-TTK them, especially when they have to reload. Revolver, Pike, Repeater, and Model all kill every class faster than CL-40 can, and they don't take as long to reload.
- Get point-blank for a faster kill if you need to. (You can use goo to force closer fights.)
CL-40 has plenty of counterplay. It is not OP, it just has a low skill floor. If you need even more counterplay, ask to BUFF UNDERPERFORMING WEAPONS FIRST before nerfing CL-40. Melee weapons in particular are good counters to CL-40, but they've been overnerfed.

nerf the light shotgun, shouldnt kill a full health heavy in 2 bullets. maybe so it does 300-320 but 350 is way too much. People say "just take hook", if you miss your hook you are litterly dead he just runs at you and one shots you as you dont have enought dmg to burst him down + the light has dashes
The game should detect when this happens and not give you an abandon penalty
Please donāt also forget that CL40 spammers panic when you get closer to them because they know itās going to hurt them more than you will and most likely die from their own AOE Damage.
This is just for last chances when all of your options run low fighting against them.
I really don't think the sledge nerf was warranted. I am a light main and never play Sledge heavy but I thought the devs stated they wanted melee to be a viable choice alongside gunplay in this game, which sledge was. It was a welcome change in the pace of games and you had to play around it.
If anything the forgotten and unviable melee options especially on medium that were left aside should have been buffed to reach its level.
If it was truly overperforming then it deserved a nerf sure but the one it got is crippling and I fear it will lie alongside the other forgotten melee choices if not reverted at least partially.
I wish the devs would think about changing the quick cash spawns/timers. Right now itās cheesy and unrewarding to actually play the game.. you could kill a team and theyāll spawn behind where you just killed them from and punish you for winning a the first fight that they literally forced you into in the first place..
Or to just be spawning and have a team spawn where you just came from 5 seconds ago as the lone person who died on your team.
On another note think about testing a solo q/group q for certain major modes. Old fps games I used to play had this..I think it would be interesting to see which players are dependent on squads and which are really true finalists at heart. Squads would still match against squads and solos go against solos more often. I would actually play a lot more tour/ranked if there was a solo q mode. Idc if it makes the queue a minute longer. Getting a full solo team and 3 other full stacks is just tragic matchmaking but I guess we asked for it!

Shouldn't the battle pass be exclusive to those who played and paid for that season? I've been buying battle passes and completing them since season 1, it seems very unfair to me that they now make them open and people who haven't played that season or paid for the battle passes can get cosmetics from that battle pass, because I've paid 20 euros in each season to have unique rewards from that season and now by playing 4 games you can get cosmetics that have cost me a lot of time and money, a disappointment for those loyal to the game, to be honest.
So I'mma going detailed version of this. In fact, S6 buff was kinda....busted. Purple line is what current damage falloff of range and green is S4. You see, Red part(before S6) was changed into purple part(Current), and now it's having similar value of Green(S4 peak) line where people crying about "CL-40 missing a shot but still getting full 100 damage" until 0.6m. And, tbh, 0.6m in close range is not that much hard to land. Also, Up to 117 theres nothing meaningful change in BTK so basically we are having S4 CL-40 for at least 0.6m right now. Again, giving more leverage for missed shot makes this gun BUSTED LIKE S4, but nobody used this since there are Cerb and pike why do you use this unreliable shit? But for now, Both model and Cerb went mid level(I don't think both is mid, cerb still do well I think) so only run-and-gun option for med is CL-40 which busted in close combat. SOOOOO HOW DO WE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? SIMPLE, TURN MAX DAMAGE RADIUS BACK TO BEFORE (0.3m) AND PLEASE GIVE EXTRA DAMAGE FOR DIRECT HIT. tldr; Yes it's busted in close range, almost same value with S4 buffed CL-40. And Embark keep refuse to add direct hit damage and I don't know the reason. I'm gonna curse embark on here everyday if they treat CL-40 into weird as fuck method to gutting again. I think I gave a lot of meaningful feedback here and there, almost everywhere with supporting data and experiment. I said same shit for FULL YEAR AT THIS POINT and Embark had a lot of chance to actually addressing problem with CL-40.

Constant ads bug unfixed. Just not enough players to have fun or learn the game. Hit plat last season and was forced to 8th seed every game vs top 500ās Iām not good enough yet, itās been a few weeks. Ranks reset, I feel like half my lobbies Iām getting griefed out by ruby badges. Itās just not fun, thereās no room for learning or the player base to grind and get good enough to at least compete. The point of sledgehammer and melee as a whole was to be made for killing at point blank range, embark nerfing sledgehammer because āincreased rates of negative sentiment from players on the receiving end of sledgehammer, who feel they can never compete against it at close rangeā, well no shit, the sledgehammer has no other range than close range isnāt that the point of melee?
The removal of QM combos makes the sledgehammer feel like literal garbage, itās a weapon that takes precious moments of time to execute attacks and now with itās reduced damage it no longer works as a melee weapon but as a taint tickler
The idea that melee is unfair at close range is genuinely the most restarted take Iāve ever heard, melee has no other range than close range, itās only purpose is close range unlike shotguns witch have range and can deal damage from a distance unlike melee
QM combos being removed makes dealing with the high skilled movement players impossible, sledgehammer had options and QM combos werenāt made for every situation and required precision to actually make it work
QM combos are a part of melee and should not be nerfed, the only way to pull off a QM combo is to be right up in your opponents face, and why shouldnāt a melee weapon that takes time to attack like sledgehammer have an option for low instant damage, nerfing sledgehammer damage is not the way to balance it

The fact that when broken it releases a ton of healing is just bad game design imo
If you're fighting a heavy with an orb near, you either break the orb and basically full heal them or you have to outdps the sustained healing and tank their damage, basically unwinnable for a light

Make melee weapons usable in ranked, there's only risks and no rewards in their playstyle. They also take way too much planning for the value they give and way too punitive for a single mistake in movement

Smoke thermal is a cancer to the this games competitive scene theres no efficient counters to it and it makes lights almost unkillable in certain scenarios make a half decent counter to smoke already so people other than the abusers can counter it
Absolutely agree. The benefit granted by the risk/reward of running sledge could already be so easily countered it's not even funny. I've been playing consistently since open beta and the sledgehammer was the last bit of fun left in this game for me. I've got around 800 hrs and after trying to play last night with the sledgehammer nerf and obnoxious, unnecessary heal meta I gotta say Splitgate 2 is looking pretty damn good right now. Sad.

There should be archaic skins for the archaic weapons. Like gladius for dual swords. And Roman legionary sword and shield for riot shield. You could also do scythian bow, for the recurve bow. The Greeks also had a specialty spear for there formations. The Greeks also had an ax called the epsilon ax, and you could do that for heavy sledgehammer. The Greeks also had their own cavalry sword but it was in significantly less use because Calvary wasn't really an option in the mountainous terrain of Greece but it was still a thing, which you could use for sword light.

So I'mma going detailed version of this. In fact, S6 buff was kinda....busted. Purple line is what current damage falloff of range and green is S4. You see, Red part(before S6) was changed into purple part(Current), and now it's having similar value of Green(S4 peak) line where people crying about "CL-40 missing a shot but still getting full 100 damage" until 0.6m. And, tbh, 0.6m in close range is not that much hard to land. Also, Up to 117 theres nothing meaningful change in BTK so basically we are having S4 CL-40 for at least 0.6m right now. Again, giving more leverage for missed shot makes this gun BUSTED LIKE S4, but nobody used this since there are Cerb and pike why do you use this unreliable shit? But for now, Both model and Cerb went mid level(I don't think both is mid, cerb still do well I think) so only run-and-gun option for med is CL-40 which busted in close combat. SOOOOO HOW DO WE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? SIMPLE, TURN MAX DAMAGE RADIUS BACK TO BEFORE (0.3m) AND PLEASE GIVE EXTRA DAMAGE FOR DIRECT HIT. tldr; Yes it's busted in close range, almost same value with S4 buffed CL-40. And Embark keep refuse to add direct hit damage and I don't know the reason. I'm gonna curse embark on here everyday if they treat CL-40 into weird as fuck method to gutting again. I think I gave a lot of meaningful feedback here and there, almost everywhere with supporting data and experiment. I said same shit for FULL YEAR AT THIS POINT and Embark had a lot of chance to actually addressing problem with CL-40.

It was mid, got nerfed, lost phantom slashing (which was good), and you want to nerf it more? Whatās the point of melee existing atp?
For those items that requires players to place them, maybe add an "edge placement ruler" setting which allows player to place these items as close to the edge or wall as possible (like a ruler), and when it is in effect, the light will switch from blue to green (just like when you can not place these items, it will turn into orange), not spending a lot of time trying to place the barricades next to the wall.
also, just a suggestion, heavy barricades should be stronger since embark buffed cl40 (now it's weaker than goo when facing cl40)

i dont know what it is maybe the new update or what, but i have never had FPS problems and ever since i have started playing this season my frames will be good for the first hour of playing then out of no where in the second round my frames with drop terribly... to about 15-19 FPS. It always happens during the second round and it is so bad i cant even walk straight. The game will have a delay from the mouse and it so laggy. with 800 hours in this game i have Never had this issue, Is it me or the game optimization?? Can someone let me know? Thank ya!
I'll stop using the CL40 when each and every shot that gets a hit marker deals damage and not just 1/3. Getting 15 hit markers with an FCAR and only dealing 144 damage is RIDICULOUS.
Often becomes an issue tho since console are meant to play against PC by default in this game. And that's why it stings my and many eyes when we regularly see PC players talk like controller is better and should get nerfed even more, which could end this game since console casuals are needed as well for the survival of the game.
@sleek forge Thing is they can't force console players to learn gyro. Most would play some other game then. Most want to play like normal.
Best imo would had been to separate PC and console. Probably too late now tho. Personally I'm fine with PC being better, but we're on a thin line imo.
they should focus on gyro implementation. aim assist can never truly be balanced, itās either too low or itās apex and cod which is abysmal. If not gyro which is raw aim, id rather it be weak than too strong

Is there really any reason to delay?Sword and sledge were fine. They were never meta even before the nerf. They only showed up occasionally in WT and Ranked. Anyone playing just one match could see that.The fact that only a few use these weapons means the weaker players dropped off and only the skilled remain. Of course, skilled players perform well.
There are many examples of games ruined by listening to Reddit, self-proclaimed pros, and scrim groups who follow their own rules, so why are you trying to follow that losing path? Nerf parrotsā arguments donāt make sense. Some idiot said you shouldnāt be able to lunge and dash, but you made the sword exactly for that. It has been designed that way since beta.
And the hammer is too strong in melee and needs a nerf? Hammer is supposed to be strong up close. It has to be. If the slowest class comes into melee range, it should be powerful. But now hammerās left click does 100 dmg? Itās the same damage as the KS you can use from a distance? Does that make any sense balance-wise?
The sword is the same. The DPS of melee is lower than that of guns you can use at range? Light classes only have 150 HP, and melee weapons must get close to deal any dmg.
Sword and hammer are melee. They require high damage output to compete with other weapons in close range.

the heal meta is alright but it does feel like mediums heal beam which is a specialization is worse than both lights heal smg and the heavy heal ball, suggestion :
make the heal beam a gadget and make the defibs a specialization
Why and what would this even do?
by making mediums pick between dmat and defib, you are making them fully focus on support with defib or being more versatile by picking dmat but not both, while at the same time making the heal beam on par with both of the other classes heal gadgets and making initial kills far more impactful without the fib as a gadget (which has been a must pick for mediums since S1)
that could be an intresting way to try and balance out the new heal gadgets

Why doesn't the Season 7 ultimate battle pass have regional pricing? The 30$ price point is literally too much for low income regions like Vietnam where the currency is so weak. Make the big box battles harder
I think Evasive Dash should be nerfed / reworked :
Currently light has 3 specs :
- Grapple ā centered around **mobility **
- Cloak ā centered around flanking / survivability
- Evasive dash ā mobility, survivability and combat effectiveness
Even if evasive dash could be considered in a good spot balance wise, I believe it does too much compared to its peers and could stand to be reworked to shine primarily around combat effectiveness rather than stealing the shine of grapple and cloak in their respective domain.
My solution : make evasive dash have a single use (cooldown could be tweaked to whatever) that gets **refunded **on kill.
Result : No more quick bursts of mobility with triple dash making it weaker for getting around, less of a "panic button" usage since you only get one careful use but it would keep it's usage as a in-fight tool to make plays and dodge key cooldowns, emphasized by it's refund on kill.
I also think in a "domino" effect, this would do a lot to make the game as a whole healthier, for the following reasons :
-Dash is currently the most used spec on light by a long shot.
-With a single dash charge, winch would be more likely to be nerfed as it is as of now a primary counter to dash lights, allowing a undirect nerf of the sledgehammer by rendering the winch / sledge combo weaker without gutting the sledge on its own
-It would make cloak usage go up again and thus lead to Embark also taking a look at thermal vision, which exists as a unfun hard counter to that spec which i don't believe should exist : smoke can stand on its own merits, especially now that it is a all-class gadget
-It would keep the beloved by its community dash dagger combo via the refund on kill and because it would be less forgiving, the weapon could be buffed in other aspects to compensate : the same goes for the sword.
I truly believe a single use dash would do wonders not only for the class but for the game as a whole.
