Bow could use a slight draw speed buff. It should outpeform sniper in every duel situation besides long range and headshot dmg. Yet we have a hitscan sniper, that can quick scope shotgun with no punishment.
Next season the weapons should be m4a1 for medium Glock 18 for light and the RPK for heavy. Any one agree?

The Boat in Power Shift needs more natural cover from every direction. You are majorly disadvantaged whilst stranded on the Boat because enemies have almost 100% uptime on high ground advantage over you and have a near-infinite amount of angles to attack from. This is why the majority of players treat the objective as if it has cooties.
I propose a cross running through the middle.

The vertical line would run about 60% of the Boat’s length and the horizontal line about 40% of its width. The cross would be at ex-Barricade height as to allow use in combat.
I would also like to see slower offensive gadget regen in the mode so as to stifle much of the incessant gadget (predominantly grenades) spam.
Standing on the Boat could provide improved gadget and health regen to further incentivise and enable its defence. A hard cap on the amount of gadgets able to be deployed on the Boat could prevent this getting out of hand via shield/APS/mine spam.
Finally, two mounted M60s, one on either side, could provide some long-range suppressing power with the risk of being stationary. It would do the same damage as the standard M60 but have greater stability.

Improvement to cashout: make all teams replenish health, gadgets/specs cooldowns, and revive teammates on successful team wipe.
By doing this, it is possible to keep cashout without drastic change to combat 3rd partying meta. Since the winning/defending team now has even playing field to fight the 3rd party.
It also opens up new strat for the attacker team to keep 1 member alive away from the team fight to possibly deny the refreshment with the tradeoff with less firepower/support in team fight.

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Day 12 of asking to revert TA ranked (its a casual gamemode that is NOT suited for competition) and bring back cashout ranked (at least for S4 and onward)

The problem with ranked in this game is as its always been. Ranks do not reflect skill level at all. I'm not sure if Embark thinks it does or what, but it doesn't. I see no difference in my games in full gold lobbies vs me being the ranked in the lobby. I can go 15-5 against a full ranked team, and 2-10 against a full unranked team. The inconsistency in game to game is what did it for me. There's no SBMM anywhere near this game. Its not fun literally just going 15-5, 2-10, 15-5, 2-10. There's no way there's no skill levels in between this.
Its so bad that I actually get excited to see more unranked players on my team. Because I know one or two of those unranked players are juiced up and more often than not leads to a win
~3 players (60%) on your team not holding the objective is precisely why it needs to be more defensible.
The 1-3 players that generally try to hold it are left without any real protection. The only natural cover is the perimeter wall, which is constantly below a great amount of high ground (at many ranges) and can only protect from one side at a time. This is what promotes the egregious APS & Mesh/Dome Shield spam, which is horribly unfun for all parties. This is why you suggest the H + M comp. A shield and a healing beam.
The recommended changes would not create a fortress, only provide some actually beneficial protection. The loss of high ground whilst on the Boat will always guarantee that attackers can effectively reposition to challenge you from new angles.
The proposed limits to deployable gadgets/shields would encourage natural gameplay of two players both using cover in between trying to outgun one another. As opposed to the current state which is the defending player(s) hiding behind either the perimeter or a shield 99% of the time.
This also further incentivises gadgets such as zip lines and bounce pads as opposed to shields, mines, and grenades. Allowing for greater mobility and thus contesting of the high ground.

Today I would like to touch on the imperfection of the selection of players in the team and the policy of the company Embark, which clearly stands on the side of weak and offended players.
Most recently, I was banned for several days due to the fact that I did not want to play with weak players in my team, not waste time on a previously lost game and not have a negative experience, and I preferred to be AFK in order to finish this terrible match faster and move on in the hope that I would get good teammates, as well sometimes I had to respond to stupid toxicity from underdeveloped degenerates in the hope that they would realize at least something or their toxicity exceeded all reasonable limits.
Yesterday I contacted support after the ban and described the whole situation, but in response from support I received only this :
"Griefing other players in the game and refusing to play the objective just because your teammates are not the best makes for a really bad experience for other players. Because of this, we have decided to not shortening the ban length of your account.

Day 99 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Think about it… When you drop your Airpods on the ground, it somehow ends up on both ends of the room. Almost like the fragments from a fragmentation grenade. So… A grenade skin of Airpods (Doesn’t have to be named Airpods, maybe ear pieces or another common name for them) would fit in great with the tone of the stick gun and other silly skins added before.

I'm not saying that the negative gaming experience I get is superior to other players (whether they are strong or weak). I'm talking about the injustice of punishment and the fact that Embark stands up for weak players, given their gaming experience, not taking into account mine. That is, Embark doesn't care about the negative experience that I get, but for some reason I don't care about the negative experience of a stupid player who they don't want to play with because it's pointless and the boost of weak players destroys the selection and rating system.

Its not the same and if you don't understand why, you're kinda part of the problem. Casual modes are cheese modes. If you liked cashout in ranked, that was partly because people were trying to rank up. They gave at least a little shit. Now they don't. Every game has at least 1 team cheesing, not playing the objectives, and just trying to disrupt other teams from playing the objective. WT is a circus.

REMOVE TA RANKED - How can you expect a competitive 5v5 gamemode to work when every game there is a cheater in high elo. You can't even win by chance or go through to gain some RR. All you end up doing is wasting 30mins and losing? I've had 4 reported cheaters banned yet 0 RR gained. I was top 200 diamond last season now cba even playing (p.s adding god tier ruby skins like that make more cheaters i swear)

Increase the size of the anti-gravity cubes area. I think it is 5-6 m in diameter and would be much more useful with 7-8m. It already is quite fun to use, but could be a lot better. I also don't see it that often and increasing the diameter would probably help a lot. It is easy to counter, since the cube can be destroyed with a few shots, so there is enought counterplay imo. Also if you get someone with it, it's not like they are completely helpless, as they can use all their weapons and gadgets still.

TA has a systematic issue where almost every round plays like a TDM. Instead of what I can assume they intended, which is defending sites and trying to decrypt it, most rounds end with all 5 on a team dead before any attempt is made on the terminal. Because the movement speed is fast and the TTK is low, any attempt to decrypt or stop the decryption of the terminal will have you punished. It’s too easy to camp in a whole other part of a building in a 1v1 on defense and just wait for the key to attempt to get put in before running over and quickly killing the person putting it in. There needs to be some other creative way to implement this kind of game mode because any modifications to the key and how decryption starts will inevitably benefit one side (attack or defend) too much.

Took some days off, and came back. First, winch claw overtuned, doubt anyone disagrees with this. Second, Kyoto is not a good map atm imo, my least favorite one atm. Once the destruction kicks in (which is instantly in PS), it becomes nightmare and frustrating to navigate, also too busy overall. Loading screen bug freeze seems very common now, have to alt f4 the game.
Suggestion, rework Sniper rifle, if you are unwilling to remove it. Make it have actual (visible) projectiles, with bullet drop. This would make it more rewarding, and take more skill from range, and would give feedback on other players where the sniper is popping from, to encourage roaming. Also "aggressive sniper" playstyle would stay exactly the same at close range.

Suggestion, turret nerf was too punishing and feels way too hard commitment to drop it down, compared to other specializations, and feels super clunky. Make it so that when you pick it up (not remotely), the ammount of health it has, gives same % cooldown back.
90% of the matches: the key is thrown to who knows where , nobody cares, playing as TDM game mode. IMHO, it makes sense,the core of this game is cashout and the style we know what it is and what means.

Just played ranked terminal attack. My team had combined and the opposition 65k!! The one with the highest points in my team had less points then the lowest ranked player from the other team. This shouldnt be happening!!

Some people play the finals because there is cool/fun progression, some people play because they enjoy playing casually, some people play because they want a good ranked experience and want to watch their skill go up overtime in ranked.
All of these groups should be catered to, they are usually the biggest groups in live service pvp games. Telling an entire group to just "go play another game if you want to have fun" is not a good response, if anything, it actively shows that this game is doing a horrid job at catering to a very large group of players that is very important to live service pvp games.

Y’all gotta do something about the team class distribution in power shift cuz I don’t know how y’all do it but I’ve been continuously punished every single time I win every single game. Next game a get teamed up with 3 to 4 single-cell brain light players all running sniper that contribute nothing to the match nor even get a single kill unless the enemy was already super low. It’s genuinely frustrating how it accurately happens every single win lmao. Nearly Infinity Ward sbmm levels of “you won your first match of the day, you will not win next game🙂”

Not once, but twice do I get put in the same match I just left. Can we get updated accurate player numbers please? Because a thriving player base should never have that occur.
I do think there is a real way to make TA work for this game. The Devs have proven they can be creative anymore they need to choose a change to the traditional style that fits the game. In its current state, TA is not worth playing, but maybe adding a cool niche will make it worth playing over current better implementations of it like CSGO/Val/R6. Just off the top of my head, a cool idea is to add incentive to putting the key in the terminal. Maybe a short term benefit for the attackers like a 50hp regen or a gadget refresh for the whole team left alive to help combat the downsides of trying to put the key in.
Wrong, sounds like a skill issue. Everyone that complains about TA are the same people third partying every cashout to sneak up in the ranks- that’s not skill. TA is pure skill, which is why most of you can’t/ don’t like it because the stats don’t lie in the face of one life. If you can’t live with it go to world tour

Like One Round I feel bad for playing against people seemingly new to this game and another time we get stomped by clearly premade guys who are way above our skill level.
In TA it is not better. I see Bronze Players on one side and Gold in the other side. sometimes the RS has a difference of 10,000. Like how is this fair?

Gravity cube needs to stick to the surface it hits, its only good with exact placement which is difficult when so much shit makes it bounce. World Tour is cool concept but having access to only 3 maps at a time in the only Tournament gamemode is getting really irritating, I miss monaco 😦

The dual katanas can be fun but are currently unviable, some changes to make it more viable would be fixing the deflect and reflect to make it work consistently, currently its bugged and doesnt work most of the time. Normalizing the damage for the first two slashes 50 50,60 60 > 55 55, 55 55 to make it consistent and feel better against lights. Inreasing the lunge distance so it better keeps up with lights. Removing the last part of the combo or increasing the damage of it because having to do slash slash quick melee slash feels bad against heavies and takes way too long, but is better than doing the full combo
Buddy I go positive every match (regardless of game mode) and am usually the best in my team. It’s not “skill issue” and people who use that term can never find an actually argument. I am complaining the game mode is boring to play and doesn’t serve its own purpose. If I wanted to play a TDM game mode I’d play one. Don’t act all high and mighty about your “skill” when everyone is saying TA sucks and half of it is no skill invis lights anyways. At least I’m hoping it can be changed for the better and not just begging for it to be removed.
Another big downfall and lack of players in ranked is due to performance and optimization in the game. Most competitive players like to have a consistant 144fps atleast, to feel like they can compete and transition from other games. Without a very high-end PC you aren't getting 144fps constant, even on the lowers graphics and resolution. It puts people off.
Charge and slam is too much, I got the drop on this heavy from behind in a Kyoto building. He turns around and gets 188 damage that I can’t counterplay.
Please add things (Like cosmetics, multibucks, etc) to buy with the points you use to buy equipment when you have all the equipments

It should be like apex where you can buy reskins of items you already have using legend tokens or something. That would be relatively low effort for the devs, boosts customization, and honestly it would be nice to be able to use some of the cooler customization models with different colorways.

The main argument here is strategy, cashout may seem like a simple mode at first but it has incredible depth. Even after 500 hours im still learning new strategies. Here's to name afew:
- Stalling vaults
- Splitting cashouts
- Stacking cashouts
- Keeping track of scoreboard to track enemy movements
- Using tokens vs not using
- Greifing teams and denying griefs
- Know when not to wipe (risk vs reward)
- Spawn manipulation
- Leaving your active cashout to fight for both
- and alot alot more
There are so many split second desicions you have to make in this mode. Id say that strategy in cashout is more important than having good aim.
Before anyone says "but cashout has third-parties". Third parties is also part of the strategy of the finals, knowing your enemy movement and positioning accordingly actually counters it, you just have to pay attention.
TA has very basic strategy desicions compared to cashout, not to mention it has alot of downtime and is just boring and less exciting in general imo. Please Embark :( I really want to keep playing ranked cashout

Terminal Attack is interesting and certainly has competitiveness. However, it seems the management is not very adept at making any mode into a ranked match.
I believe this has been talked about since Season 1, but does the management realize there is absolutely no guarantee when another player's connection drops mid-rank match, putting the team at a numerical disadvantage? This seems to have been discussed many times.
It seems players are crushed in numerical disadvantage situations and penalized with "-400 RS". What a messed up ranking system.

By adding back ranked cash out it should help the rank cash out players come back. It is ok if ranked TA stays but I think that having both should be an option. I also think that if TA gets removed and ranked cash out comes back they should have a ranked bank it or powershift in world tour style/form.

They should change up world tour. Like they should have a 3rd group on the bracket to make it 12 teams in the first round it'll be 3 groups of 4 teams which equals 12. Then of course the top 2 teams qualify like usual on each group so it'll be a total of 6 teams qualifying for round 2 so round 2 would be like normal cash out. So it will be 2 groups of 3 teams in round 2 and the winners of each game then go on to the final round which is of course 2 teams anyone agree?? Thoughts?

- When you wipe an enemy team, you gain 30 percent of their lost money, there is possibility that this makes it too good to hunt people down instead of playing the objective, **OR ** you only gain 15 % of their money.
The purpose of this addition is to coinside with the next change, i think holding objective may be TOO OP, there may be certain scenarios where holding a cashout makes it impossible for one team to win. Overall this is only an addition if the next change comes in.
- When holding cashout, @ 25 % Completion gain $2.5k, @ 75 % Completion gain $2.5k, @ Cashout Completion gain $5k, 3 Split rewards for one cashout. (overwatch capture point basically)
- Spawns should be fixed, 3 v 3 at first vault, both teams should spawn at an equal distance to the vault, nobody should spawn with a Tempo Advantage

Hello Embark, please optimize Kyoto. Either remove the excessive amount of objects or details. I have everything on low on a mid/high-end PC and I sometimes get 20-30 FPS. At most I get 60. Also make it so it less likely to be chosen as a map. It's cool but decrease the chance of that please.
BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Honestly enjoying the game at the moment. Obviously cash out ranked would be good but we know that’s coming back eventually. Guns seem like they’re in a decent spot, classes are all usable atm. Melees are highly dependent on the player and can be extremely strong or completely terrible.
Terminal attack has potential, maybe reduce map size, maybe increase health regeneration for more clutch potential, 1v5 feels impossible. Well done so far and hope you continue to make improvements to the game
Nerf bow to the ground. One shotted the entire team in TA. Everyone went negative because of a single player using the bow. Bow doesn't even belong in this game, but if you keep it, nerf it to the ground. Either that, or my team sucked absolute garbage and you need to fix your matchmaking because we got owned several times and obviously weren't competing at the same level as our enemies. Constantly queueing with low level players and playing against high level players. TLDR: Bow need a nerf ASAP and skill-based-matchmaking needs a complete overhaul.

A thought on contracts: I think it really helps to have as many ways of contributing to a contract while also allowing a focused objective. For example, I find the "Deal X damage beyond Y meters" particularly annoying because I'd usually have to run sniper light in Power Shift to get it done. I'd prefer not to run a specific game mode using a specific playstyle (playing as a sniper satel-light) to make optimal progress in a contract with the alternative being to make no progress at all. However it'd be a lot more manageable to have contract reworked to be "Deal 2*X damage (Damage dealt beyond Y meters is counted as 2)" This allows players to still progress even if they don't meet the range requirements and still gives even more progress if they do meet the requirements. This approach to contracts could also apply to a number of areas beyond dealing damage within ranges such as using different types of weapons, playing different game modes, or playing as/eliminating L, M, or H contestants.
For a random contracts idea, include a rare but very easy daily contract: "Thanks for playing THE FINALS! Play 1 game."

I suggest updating the game engine to 5.4 in a future patch, as well as updating all available upscaling solutions to newer versions like DLSS to 3.7.0, XeSS to 1.3, and FSR to 3.1. UE 5.4 brings more optimizations which make the performance better and that should improve the general game experience for people in combination with the updated better upscalers. Also, add DirectStorage api to improve loading, there are times where all players are stuck to a loading screen for the match due to singular users with slower machines, and DiSto can eliminate/lower that.

Seriously, we need more casual gamemodes. And I mean like the good old stuff too, I'm talking about Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination, stuff like that would bring in a more casual audience. You can still make the ranked mode about cashout, but give more options for players who aren't into the competitiveness for ranked. Most of the audience is casual, not competitive.
Bigger gamemodes like TDM or Capture The Flag can promote bigger lobbies sizes. What I mean by this is that most of the modes don't allow you to head into a match with four players, which i know there's an audience who wish they could play with a full squad of their friends and just have fun. Cashout, if we're being honest, is not totally beginner friendly. It's something completely new to players who haven't touch the game before, so why don't we make the game more friendly by adding modes that more casual and beginner players would understand and remember from other shooters?
The FINALS can still have it's unique premise throughout the gamemodes. Hell, the core functions of the game, destruction and teamwork, would THRIVE in something like TDM. I mean, imagine how awesome it would be to see the entire map reduced to rumble of the teams constantly rushing each other? There is a lot of potential with this game and I want it to thrive, but one step of doing so is opening up to more gamemode options that are more familiar to a casual audience.

Twitch Streamers provide content to keep people interested, they provide virtually free marketing but to keep people interested in streaming the finals they need more viewership, why not show the streamers some love and consider making a set of cosmetics for the Twitch drops, releasing one piece say, the boots one week then the gloves the next and the pants the next all as twitch drops until there's a full set, example- dragon bone samurai armor, twitch drop cosmetic sets don't directly make Embark as a studio money but will generate marketing for the game to help keep existing players interested and draw in some new players. You could also do limited usage codes for Youtubers with alternate armor sets that the Youtuber post in their videos for some cosmetics for the truly invested members of the community to flex how passionate they are about both The Finals and Content for The Finals.

Please let us customize the color of the front iron sight on all weapons. Being unable to change it is an unfair disadvantage for colorblind people.
One of Ottr's newest video is called "Is This NEW Free Skin PAY TO WIN?" (https://youtu.be/bmH-vBJiHgM about the free Famas email code skin). Being able to change the color of the front iron sight would dismantle any claims about Pay2Win for paid skins and simultaneously help colorblind people.
The black front iron sight of the standard skins hurts my eyes, on the LH1 for example. I could remove this problem by buying a yellow skin. Now if a colorblind person wants to do that, he can only choose between standard black or yellow (which is invisible/grey to him). Enabling customization of this small part would give colorblind players the ability to enjoy all skins, without hindering their ability to shoot, cuz they cant see the iron sight.
This should also BOOST SKIN SALES of ALL WEAPONS with an iron sight. I won't buy the coolest skins, cuz they have black front iron sight, it actively prevents me from spending money on cool skins. I don't want to hurt my eyes any more.

They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:

Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".

Yes, but in addition to adjusting the selection system, the ban policy should be changed. If both players have a negative experience from playing with each other, then either both should be banned or no one. I am a proponent of natural selection, the weak should play with the weak, the strong with the strong. But at the moment
this is some kind of mess due to the lack of a normal selection of players and the lack of game balance in terms of builds. There are overly light builds that allow weak players to climb. This breaks the system of rating and selection of players. I am more than sure that if the invis and dash are played properly, then more than 70% of the players will simply lose their entire rank. It is also worth laying down a number of weapons because they have a clear advantage in 99% of situations in the game.

Make Terminal Attack work like Rush from Battlefield.
Make the distance from spawn to target shorter to prevent sniping being too strong for longer distance map (i.e Skyway Stadium) by section the map into smaller play areas.
Keep the no heals and revives, but allow respawn where the attacker gets set number of tickets in total and defenders get infinite respawn but longer respawn time.
This will make match interaction constant instead of waiting until round end.
2 seasons in and the infinite loading screen is still present. Unacceptable.

my biggest issue with the game is the fact that the servers are kinda so shit that i get killed behind cover way more often than i should, i can peak, take my shot, get fully behind cover before i hear the other person shoot, and then i die completely hidden from the enemy, its gonna be the reason i quit this game if it doesnt get fixed soon
from playing since cb1 I have never encountered people hitting 150kish. if it does happen they are definitely not hitting that mark over and over...
getting both 10s, 15s, and 22s will only give you 94k + a few box openings and inserting cash boxes. when my team cashes EVERY vault we get like 107k ish. I dont think I ever seen vaults spawning after the 22k.
@final willow that is true, however the schedule of people has not changed. if the avg active users is like 50k you can assume theres more users playing the game compared to 5k avg active users. it's not 1:1 but it's still a helpful correlation.

A minor complaint, but I think there should be an indicator/icon on your screen that lets you know there's a frag grenade nearby. Sometimes it feels like you spontaneously explode without warning and for a solid three seconds you genuinely don't know why until you see the damage chart. Yes, you can sometimes see the air-trail of the grenade when it's thrown and the model itself on the floor, but when you're in the middle of a firefight, the building is collapsing around you, and there's just general smoke and chaos, it's going to be difficult to know that you're sitting on a frag. Most shooters have this feature for a reason. And due to this game being generally chaotic I think this would help a lot.

I was so excited for this season but the game is bugged and I can hardly join matches without getting kicked, the new items are lock and key design, the new ranked mode is awful and takes too long, the lack of SBMM in world tour is insane to me, and existing weapon tuning was broken so now there are just a thousand lights running around with throwing knives or full teams of heavies with the chain. The AI voice is god awful, too. I have uninstalled, gonna go read books instead or something.
Dope dope, just had four players leave a TA match after 1 round because the punishment is so light and players cant be bothered to lose 1 round of a 4 point match. Punishments for leaving matches should be much harsher. Literally cannot go one match without one or more people leaving both on the casual and ranked side. Was on the Kyoto map

Is there any solution to lag switching? Entire team started mentioning horrendous lag at the same time. Could have been a server failure, but also may have been someone on the enemy team. Possibly worth looking into if it's even possible. Reason I suspect the enemy team was because every time we fought them we lagged and they won.

TY for removing the requirement for new players to complete 3 games of TA before being able to try the actual game modes the finals is known about.
Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.
Now the bad.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam), bow with no falloff, and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.
In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.
The math doesn’t check out even if you did. You’d need 4.3 objectives per game, to win more than 400+ games at the current scores.
If you were able to play non stop 24/7 it would take 6 days.
16 hours a day would take 10. Season has been out 13 days and the scores BARELYA MAKE SENSE. You’d have to get every single objective in every round you play/ shut everyone out for 400+ games, doing that 16 hours straight consistently for close to 10 days is rather unlikely.
Nobody is capable of staying that consistent 16 hours straight. If it’s spread out it’s more likely but still extremely improbable to just streak that consistently for multiple days, you'd be beyond fatigued.
Embark needs to look into the leaderboards. Most teams that are toward top should be closer to 15 mill, not 26. Seems more like cheating for it than legit players.

The LH1 is still powerful. I’m not sure nerfing the damage from 63 to 61 will make any difference. The whole TA is a headache. Playing it from cb1 and I used to recommend this game to others, but now I’m the one almost hating it

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

I understand that some changes require time to be discussed, but I am becoming disappointed with the poor communication regarding the backlash from the decision to transition ranked play to the T.A. format. Please fix the poor game perfomance( Fps and stability), especially in the new map ( the other maps got also worse for some reason ) and the network issues happening all over the game. These things made the game unplayable for me and my friends ( Central EU zone ). It is not a local problem, I've seen pro players on Twitch who are suffering the same issues ( eg: Ottr ): worse performance and network stutters.
Also judging by the player count it seems that the choice of making Terminal Attack the competitive mode hasn't been loved by the community. Infact TA is a mode which is not suitable to be played in a frenetic shooter based on movement, where continuos engagement in combat is the key to unlock its potential. I would like to see Power Shift in competitive, because it just works with the game mechanics very well, however if this is not possible returning to cashout is simply a better choice, and I think that the majority would agree.

The Winch Claw is still MEGA OP.
It grabs you through walls. You grab from too far away. You grab even if you’re crouched behind cover. It has too little cooldown. And if all this weren’t enough... it even does damage... Little, but enough. We’ve had 3 Seasons, and I still see that the Stun Gun does no damage, when it makes much more sense, and when Light does need that extra damage because it’s mega NERF.
LH1 and Light’s Throwing Knives are still MEGA OP.
LH1 needs to be much less accurate while moving to encourage long-distance, static play, like a pseudo-sniper.
And Throwing Knives need to throw more projectiles per second and do less damage with each one to compensate for the DPS. Instead of throwing the knives “two by two,” it should throw “four knives one after another,” all with the same RPM, and then make a very small pause (like it does now after throwing the “two knives”), and each of these knives should do less damage. Because if you divide all your damage between only 2 projectiles, they have to do a lot of damage to compensate, and this translates into a MEGA OP weapon, which is exactly what we’re seeing... More projectiles with less damage each, that’s what Throwing Knives need.
Removing multihit on sledge overhead was an L change. The weapon barely has any range, if people are stacked THAT close enough... they should suffer the consequences. I know you only did it because dagger mains would cry if sledge could multihit with special when they couldnt, but thats just the difference between blunt vs bladed. Thanks for taking the only viable weapon I could have fun with and making that not the case anymore.

Rework idea: maybe melee weapons can still multihit, but you can only hit a certain amount of other players/object (let’s keep it down to two or three) before your “hit” is over? Like, if you hit two shields and a player, you’ll only hit those three things. Swing more and it’ll whiff.

TA is by far the worst SND mode i have ever witnessed and i played almost 10k hours SND games, boring, slow no structured rounds/maps disigned for SND, and no viable strats besides "go kill" due to way to much vertical moovement or wide open map disign.
Current WT is worse than Quickcash last season, noone play objective everyone is just playing TDM due to no real ranked system, bronze and diamond players from last season are in the same lobbys its not fun for both sides.

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Seriously though, I have an opinion to share: I feel the skill gap between Unranked to Bronze and Silver is too large. While it's understandable since it's a new implementation, at the very least, Unranked and Silver players should not be matched together. I also feel there is a significant difference between Bronze and Silver as well.
Moreover, I notice that beginners tend to leave matches more frequently. Is the gameplay not engaging enough? At the very least, it doesn’t seem to be appealing to new players.

Multi-hit was one of the few things that could improve melee weapon viability without making it overly powerful in direct combat
It happened rarely and if you did get caught in a multi-hit, it was usually because you made massive mistakes

Ok, here's my big feedback, Part 1
BALANCE
- Heavy class
I love this class and play it myself, but to be honest, H still has many opportunities to deal massive damage instantly with little effort. I'm talking about the RPG and Charge N Slam—both can leave L almost without HP, even when the L player hasn't taken any damage before encountering H.
What I would change:
• RPG: reduce the damage to 100, but increase the blast radius. Maybe add a brief, slight screen flash effect to the player hit by this gadget, similar to a Flashbang.
• Charge N Slam: set the damage from the initial collision at 60-80 HP, and subsequent collisions at 30-40. Definitely increase the cooldown (CD). Slam shouldn't be a damage tool as it is now. Its primary role should be to close distances, push opponents, and break walls suddenly when no other options are available. Currently, this specialization is mainly used for easily finishing off opponents, and with such damage, it’s sometimes about outright destroying them with a single button press. This shouldn't be the case.
• KS-23: make walls break from two shots. It would also be logical for this weapon to deal increased damage to gadgets and specializations—enhance the damage against Guardian Turret, APS Turret, Barricade, Goo, etc. Seriously, spending 3 out of 6 possible (and not always available!) bullets just to make a hole in a wall is too costly.
• Sledgehammer: make the trampoline break with one heavy hit. Bring back and never remove the ability to hit multiple targets at once if they are in the same spot. It's absurd. If the whole team stands in one place so that their hitboxes overlap, I have to hit at random. At least with firearms, you can aim at a specific spot. It's logical that a heavy swing can damage multiple characters at once. This wish generally applies to all melee weapons.
• Winch Claw: increase the CD by a few seconds.

I kinda liked the Dome Shield skipping like a stone on water (and I main it).
I think all thrown deployables should skip if thrown at an angle on water. Including grenades. It makes fighting there more interesting than just "now you are slow lol"
I am very upset about the purchase of a skin on AKM "HOLTOW FINE PRINT". I thought that the previously purchased set of animations for AKM would work, but in the end I have a skin that is almost no different from the standard skin and with only basic animations.

I suggest updating the game engine to 5.4 in a future patch, as well as updating all available upscaling solutions to newer versions like DLSS to 3.7.0, XeSS to 1.3, and FSR to 3.1. UE 5.4 brings more optimizations which make the performance better and that should improve the general game experience for people in combination with the updated better upscalers. Also, add DirectStorage api to improve loading, there are times where all players are stuck to a loading screen for the match due to singular users with slower machines, and DiSto can eliminate/lower that.

P.S: overwatch has golden weapon skins. you get them for playing ranked. not getting high rank. and that is a good system

Fully agree. Dagger multi hit are very satisfying but so rare that it wouldn't matter balancing wise, sledge having basically zero range but being able to land multi hits put it in a decent place. And if people stand so close to together they all get hit by secondary, frankly, that's deserved

I, personally, would love a Ranked Quick Cash. 3v3v3 still has a bit of chaos, but having one objective makes it more skilled based IMO. How that would work in a “tournament” situation and potentially lead to a 3v3, I don’t know. But that’s why this isn’t my job.

Rework M’s melee weapon mechanics:
° Riot Shield: pressing RMB would simply raise/lower the shield, allowing the player to stand still. Holding RMB would make the character run towards the opponent with the shield raised, dealing damage on collision and exiting the state to allow for basic attacks.
° Dual Blades: implement a similar feature with holding RMB but without dealing damage on collision.
Might also buff those weapons as they don't have any chance against Sledge Heavy or Sword Light no matter how skilled Medium player is
Riot shield
• While blocking reduces incoming melee damage by 30-40%
• While reviving/taking cashout it appears on the back of a player to reduce melee damage / block damage from bullets
Dual blades
• Reduce incoming melee damage by 20-30%
Blades should have higher TTK than Riot Shield while Riot Shield should provide more defensive opportunities

Guys, remove the melee aim assist, seriously, it has a bug that when you use it gives you more range, sometimes you reach the enemy when you're like 3 meters away from him, or even kill you when you don't hit him in any part of the body, it even gives you 180 degrees movement when an enemy is behind you touching you, I mean, what else do you want me to tell you?
Second, remove the trigger that makes the icon of the box fade when you throw it, it is annoying and annoying not to see the box for half an hour, while the enemy takes it to the cashing, you do not even know where to go.

The only thing this shows is you think too highly of yourself.
Minor bugs are easier to fix and thus quicker to solve. Important fixes and changes take more effort, consideration, and thus time.
Improvement to cashout: make all teams replenish health, gadgets/specs cooldowns, and revive teammates on successful team wipe.
By doing this, it is possible to keep cashout without drastic change to combat 3rd partying meta. Since the winning/defending team now has even playing field to fight the 3rd party.
It also opens up new strat for the attacker team to keep 1 member alive away from the team fight to possibly deny the refreshment with the tradeoff with less firepower/support in team fight.

- Light class
In season three, L received many pleasant buffs, and that's right—the class with the least HP should be able to deal a lot of damage. However, I think the fine line has been crossed, turning this class from a fragile character who can deal significant damage with skill and caution into a ruthless killing machine.
Desired changes:
• Evasive Dash: increase the CD of each dash by a few seconds and maybe introduce a 1-2 second pause between dashes. This specialization gives a huge advantage against melee-focused opponents, especially noticeable in season three with the rise of melee weapons. Three consecutive dashes allow for instant distance-breaking while continuing to shower the opponent with bullets.
If considering the scenario where L with a Sword faces M or H using melee weapons, Evasive Dash allows L to instantly escape the reach of their weapons after landing a heavy attack dealing 140 damage. Timing attacks with the swing in mind is nearly impossible. A pause between dashes would give other classes at least some chance.
Also, three consecutive dashes effectively overcome obstacles like chasms and small heights, making Grappling Hook less preferable, although it should be the obvious choice for such purposes.
• Throwing Knives (TK): either lower the damage, or, if keeping the current damage, reduce the comfort of throws by lowering their speed or increasing the pause between throws. It's still a very strong weapon with no significant penalty for misses.
• Dagger: allow holding the heavy attack. This would make the weapon more versatile, as it currently stands no chance against other Ls, most of whom also use Evasive Dash—it's too hard to time a 320-damage strike.

Throwing knives are still way too strong, also when it's foggy and you are inside a building you can't see anything outside, it's just white but people outside can see you inside with no problems. That is really annoying when dealing with snipers because you can't see the flash on the scope

• Stun Gun: this is a disaster. Previously, its duration was increased as compensation for not disabling specializations. Now it disables specializations, and the duration remains the same. Using it against H with a spear or sledgehammer turns them into helpless targets, essentially giving L a free kill ticket, which is unfair.
What MUST be done: increase the CD of Stun Gun and reduce its duration by 1-3 seconds.
During Stun Gun's effect:
o either allow free movement if disabling specializations remains,
o or remove free movement and aiming if specializations are not disabled.

RANKED MATCHES
Sorry, but this is my biggest disappointment. I didn’t like that ranked Cashout had too many random moments and issues with destroyed teams/vaults/cashout stations (these problems still exist in World Tour). But the current ranked mode is even worse. I had high expectations for it, but you barely changed it. The mode is terribly boring, unbalanced, and encourages passive, “rat” gameplay, where players hide more than play "The Finals."
Boring because it has little in common with the gameplay players got used to in the past two seasons. Unbalanced because L has significant advantages: after taking damage, everyone walks with 100 HP, but for L, that’s 2/3 of their total health, while for H, it’s less than 1/3, which is inherently unfair.
It's also strange that M was deprived of the Healing Beam and Defibrillator, even though the use of the former can be easily balanced, and the latter’s use wouldn’t hurt even if it wasn't one-time only. Without the Healing Beam, most players take Guardian Turret, which contributes to passive gameplay, with players piling everything on a point and waiting for opponents' mistakes.
Embark praise be that skin istg you're cooking in the cosmetics aspect of the game
If there's any possible way you can make the game kick players that are literally hundreds of meters away without engaging in any combat for several minutes, that would be great. It's not the first time I've dealt with it and it's migraine inducing every single time
Hot take: Medium's riot shield should be able to block melee attacks. IRL the main point a riot shield is to stop melee attacks, and even the bulkier ones that exist are made only to stop small arms fire.

The Boat in Power Shift needs more natural cover from every direction. You are majorly disadvantaged whilst stranded on the Boat because enemies have almost 100% uptime on high ground advantage over you and have a near-infinite amount of angles to attack from. This is why the majority of players treat the objective as if it has cooties, or hide/spam Shields when on it.

The vertical line would run about 60% of the Boat’s length and the horizontal line about 40% of its width. The cross would be at ex-Barricade height as to allow use in combat.
I would also like to see slower Offensive Gadget regen in the mode so as to stifle much of the incessant Frag/RPG/Poison/Fire spam. This would also help encourage use of Mobility Gadgets such as Jump Pad/Zipline/Gateway/Anti-Gravity Cube as well as Neutral Gadgets such as Smoke Grenade/Flashbang/Goo Grenade. These Gadgets are far more creative and far less frustrating, opening up the depth of gameplay.
Standing on the Boat could in turn provide improved Gadget and Health regen to further incentivise and enable its defence. A hard cap on the amount of Defensive Gadgets able to be deployed on the Boat could prevent this getting out of hand via Shield/APS/Mine/Barricade spam. Once again, this would encourage use of creative Specializations such as Winch Claw/Charge n Slam/Goo Gun rather than an abundance of Mesh Shields.
Finally, two mounted M60s, one on either side, could provide some long-range suppressing power with the risk of being stationary. It would do the same damage as the standard M60 but have greater stability.

Thermal Vision should show mines. They literally emit light. Thermal hides mines almost completely from view for no reason.
Thermal Vision also makes your entire scope appear bright white and you can't aim through it. Please fix.
Thermal Vision also also removes the boundaries of the map which can be incredibly confusing when you're using it on Kyoto, esp. near the bamboo because it looks like you have a lot of space but you can't move because it's actually a wall that you can't see

sledgehammers range is MUCH further than is visually seen in the attack animation, this makes it hard to deal with in close combat as its impossible to determine if youre fucked or not fucked

TRUE I should not be able to get gapped by a player holding S. Like the swords lunge you forward but at the same time slow you down when you swing so you just can't stick to people. The block IS NOT enough to make up for that with how unforgiving it is. Even when I'm staring someone down holding block there shots manage to get through. (Mainly throwing knives)

get a team to activity ban cheaters, hell ill join if it means a playable game. There is no way you can't implement a system to gather multiple reports on one person, and go into a match spectator to ban these basement dwellers mid match.
Unfortunately (for the overall playerbase) this is a fast-paced arcade game which is typically casual, but the (often brutal) complexities to the game modes as well as the distinct classes each with their own toolkits means it’s actually quite advanced and hardcore. Whenever I see new players in Quick Play I can tell 90% of them are having a horrid time.

Terminal attack meta is as follows: 4 players who want to get boosted + 1 unranked alt account (cheating optional) who disconnects at will so they can choose their lobbies for max points or easy wins.
This game mode doesnt make sense for ranked. This ranking system doesnt make sense for ranked. Played solo enough to reach top 1k.... don't wanna play anymore. Dont want to go back to cashout because its just a shitfest cash grab now, with zero strategy or competitive game play. Leaderboards couldve been anything other than a time sink..... I'm honestly not sure I'll finish the season at this rate. Zero changes this update is a real bad look.

Yeah I definitely agree. I keep trying to get my friends to try out the game but it has a really high learning curve, especially in terms of strategy than other games. I think we could do with some more universal modes especially for new players, like Deathmatch (to learn new guns and Gadgets) and perhaps CTF or another well-known mode.
I also do think it would be really cool to get an experimental BR-type mode, perhaps in the form of Three-Strikes from Apex. (When you get wiped, you respawn three times).

Cheating is not banned, and there are points with cheaters? My score is not compensated? When encountering cheats, the cheaters with low scores and the cheaters with high scores can be ranked together, and then when they encounter this, I lose a handful and lose 1,500 points, and win a handful plus 500 points, who still likes to play this game?
When I met a cheater, I wasted three hours of ranking points. It's hard not to get angry, and it's hard to keep people in the rankings.
My suggestion is to report the ban and compensate me for my points in the game where I met the cheater. And ban people who often play with cheaters. For the kind of parameter full. It is directly identified as playing with cheaters.

How I would change this mode:
• Either tie the amount of HP that a character can passively recover to their class's total HP or make it possible to recover full HP. The latter seems preferable as it would allow freer use of melee weapons in this mode.
• Return M's specialization and gadget, but either make it impossible to use more than two Healing Beams on one character or limit the number of players of the same class on a team, so you can't have more than two L/M/H on a team.
• Remove the limit on the number of times gadgets can be used.
• Rework the combat system: make 2 keys. Teams are still divided into attackers and defenders, but now, after decryption or its interruption, the fight continues, new keys and decryption stations appear in different parts of the map. Each decryption or cancellation gives 1 point to the respective team. The first team to score a certain number of points wins.
• Add the ability to revive teammates manually and a limited number of times (1-2) using tokens.
This would be much more fun than what’s happening in the rankings now.

Good game with so many bugs, unstable servers, 4-team clashes, chaos, performance issues. I am honored to tell you that today I meet a bug that my sonar grande CANNOT detet an enemy, even though there is just a wall between us, I can see the scan lines but he just wont show. Perfect game. Nice job! Love u guys. Cant u just hire more people on ur debugging? Or maybe u are spending too much on Arc Raiders that u already give up the finals? Smart choice, this game is going to die anywhy if u just cant cope with such small problems. Please guys actually play your game, test your game, not as a developer but as a PLAYER.
My RPG rework:
- nerf AOE dmg to 100
- if RPG direct hits it can deal 20-30 damage (meaning up to total 120-130 dmg but it needs more skill)
- decrease RPG hitbox for direct hit
- increase explosion trigger hitbox (makes direct hits harder but hits in general easier)
Alls they need to do is revert throwing knifes back to when they was first added, then allow people to hold the right click attack.
Right now throwing knifes are completely skill less and nobody even touches the heavy attack due to how much dps the light attacks are dealing and how fast they are.

- no major performance improvements since launch
- failure to fix game breaking bugs for months
- weekly update model preventing URGENT issues from being solved
- catering to the wrong playerbase and acknowledging that its gonna hurt the community
- not listening to pro's or any players that have given legitimate feedback
- "if i dont see it its not there" approach to communication
- per-season limited ranked rewards, up until season 4, these rewards were not given based on skill, rather it was based on playtime and if cheaters got caught by the anticheat or not. if you miss a season or simply didnt play during an earlier season, you could lose out on a highly desirable skin for your main, with absolute zero possibility of ever getting it. this is flawed. (its flawed in every other game too, be progressive maybe?)
- cosmetics are way too expensive, with the lack of an ingame earnable currency, even a 200 MB skin feels like a heavy investment. (the world tour techincally rewards 250 per season... but like.. ?)
- your crosshair has been desperately in need of a rework, its clunky, inaccurate and moves from the centre in some silly attempt to be "immersive". If you want a competitive shooter, lock the crosshair and give us options to change it to our needs. its not that deep.
- You are pretending to make a competitive shooter, but fail to take any actions needed for it to become one. The game is in a very arcade'y state right now, which is fine, but then lets stop acting like youre creating some new massive esport game.
you have built a really fun gameplay experience, i and many others are addicted to it, simply because of how incredibly well crafted the mechanics are. you are slowly drowning this game and the community, you cant expect to keep this sloppy development and nonchalant attitude up forever, people will leave, they already are.
How do you even know if someones a hacker or not... I had a light who was killing a full hp medium with 2 to 3 shots of the v95... Isnt that just stupid? Seems like there are just too many hackers all around. Or if not straight up hackers, theyre using some kinda exploit which is beyond me. My mediocre friend could do alright for the first month or so but he would get annihilated now. And he’s experienced. Also God help console players since crossplay includes PC now.
Quick Cash is the simplest mode and is decent for newcomers, but it’s still far too brutal. ~15 seconds on every death with a possible further 15 via team wipe. Massive maps with nothing to guide you to the OBJ. It’s awful to spectate a newcomer and see him try to find the OBJ in a big building. Distant and disorienting spawn points that have you facing away from the OBJ and running forever too.
A simplified Quick Cash for newcomers with smaller maps, floor arrows guiding you to the OBJ, shorter respawns and less-punishing team wipes would go a long way.
And given Quick Cash already gives newcomers a hard time, they’re absolutely fucked in all the other modes.
There’s also the Overwatch problem wherein a skilled player who knows all of his gadgets basically cannot lose a 1v1 to a noob.

yeah because whatever they are doing now is working great for them lol. Role lock or at the very least specialization/gadget lock is a necessary evil to make things less cheesy, at least for ranked modes. Double heavy is cheesy. Light meta is cheesy. 3 healer/defibs is cheesy. There will always be one role/gadget that is simply stronger. The big problem with this game is that you eventually hit a wall and have to play meta anyway or else you'll just lose. Might as well find a way to force a less abusive standard comp.

Please fix weapon hitreg on the dual katanas and spear, as well as find a better secondary attack for the spear. It's very disappointing and doesn't really do well once all the enemies leave your AoE or they all aim at you while performing it.

LORE
This game is my favorite online shooter, but over time, all modes become monotonous, and without a fun team, it can get boring. The game undoubtedly has a background, but you have to work hard to find information about it. Everything related to lore happens at the junction of seasons, and the rest of the time, the player spends in a vacuum. There are many ways to fill this gap.
First of all, the lore needs to be brought directly into the game client so every player can get acquainted with it and understand whose side they want to take and what they resonate with. You could hold pre-registered competitions between players who chose different sponsors—say, weekly tournaments with symbolic rewards and leaderboards showing which sponsor is more popular and who performed best.
The same goes for the main story. I play almost every day but have no idea what's going on with CNS, where they came from, what they want, and who opposes them. I only know they hacked something, and because of this, the sys.horizon map looks the way it does
I think it would be much more interesting if players could take the side of CNS or those against these hackers, and the whole season or part of it would feature a global confrontation, with the winner determined by the amount of money extracted/won matches/destruction caused by one side or the other. This would definitely engage me much more.
And depending on who won, some changes would be made directly in the game. For example, CNS supporters lost—the sys.horizon map looked like a normal map. CNS won—another map started looking like sys.horizon. You get the idea :)

Before they dropped season 3 people complained about mele weapons getting the buff, then they added 2 mele weapons and a projectile weapon. You could feel the bitterness in the atmosphere.

• Reduce by 1 the initial number of tokens given to a team in World Tour. One token per round is more than enough, considering they can be accumulated. This would reduce the margin for error, forcing teams to plan their game more carefully.

can we finnaly fix infinite loading screen in TA and WT, it even happen in the middle of TA match, im losing rs for nothing, dont have time to relog
just wanna add on to this, a teammate disconnects in a TA not only brings a huge disadvantage and super unbalance situation for the match, but also to lose the points while staying and fighting all the way till end is so pointless.
devs should add an ability for the matchmaking system allow players to be added into a mid-game:
- if the rounds are less than 3, allow 75% points reduction if lose;
- if the rounds are more than 3, allow 100% points reduction if lose;
Both situations gain full points if win.
This way, other teammates wont frustrate if one or more left, fillings wont frustrate as they gain compensation to join a mid-game, the game-mode overall feels way much better.
In terms of how to punish or allow the people who just got disconnected due to WIFI or whatever internet unstable issues, allow a reasonable time for them to have a chance to reconnect before open for players who searching for a game.

Just played Cashout on my PS5 Controller and I lost all force feedback from my shooting button. Not just me, my teammate got it also

- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Cashpoint:
Teams: 3v3v3v3
Objective: Control the cashpoint to earn $1000 every 5 seconds. First team to $20000 or most cash in 15 minutes wins. Cashpoint relocates every 45 seconds.
- Lose X amount of cash on team wipes.
- Instant respawns.
- No cash earned if multiple teams contest.

I generally agree, but allowing refilling could potentially be exploited in some ways (depending on how it's set up), e.g. your team looses, one of the team sacrifices and leaves to save ranked points. Also, for people joining mid game, it's a miserable experience imo. It could work if you have to enable queuing for already-in-progress games and maybe get a reward for joining and completing in-progress-games
What definitely should be added is harsher penalties for leavers in ranked modes, and maybe even quick play, if you repeatedly leave games at the end in the last minute or so, that's really frustrating.
I hope world tour becomes interesting enough to get me to play this game again.

TA health changes:
I understand no regen in TA, but the current health pools / regen structure basically throws away the whole idea of different classes.
Regen cap for each class should differ:
Light up to 100HP
Medium up to 150HP
Heavy up to 200HP
Why should a light regen to the same amount as a heavy when they have a movement advantage and high DPS?
Towards the end of the round, why should they be the same across the board given they are different classes with different functionalities and different pros and cons?
Edit: also factor in the larger hitbox for heavies

ever since this patch started I keep getting stuck in the fucking loading screen then kicked from the game this was never an issue before but it's been non stop the last few weeks
It's mainly because some users have slower machines, which holds everyone else up. If the developers added DirectStorage API it could really improve loading times. Right now, your match gets delayed because of one slow user, but DiSto could help eliminate or reduce these issues.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Fix a bug what has been here since DAY ONE. Randomly stuck of the loading screen on ps5 and i cant play. I can hear the countdown but im stuck on the loading screen for the entirety of the game.
its hard to justify running light while mediums can turn fights into 3v6's and heavy can delete half the hp of other players or even whole teams
both defib and rpg are incredibly strong and are run pretty much universally at all times
trying to brute force light viability with damage buffs has imo made fighting them irritating (and less interesting since you see less weapon variety)
i am convinced that if the other 2 classes didn't have this much impact that easily, all classes would coexist incredibly well
- Snipers are everywhere. They doing nothing but being annoying.
- Hook on heavy is a free kill against medium class. As if medium class wasn't pale enough.
- Game is freezing for like 30 seconds when pressing continue after match.
- 70% of medium's and heavy's weapons are straight up useless.
Game is in horrible state in terms of balance AND in technical part.

Here’s my opinion, but I think Embark has done an incredible job this season of The Finals and I'm gonna tell you why.
I’ve seen some complaints about the season pass being completed too quickly and other people missing the traditional ranked hierarchy in the cashout mode.
With all due respect to these people, I believe this is a somewhat shortsighted view. It’s as if the gaming industry isn’t already plagued with games-as-a-service designed solely to extract as much time and money as possible from their players. It’s as if THAT isn’t a problem. And some people are asking for that.
It’s like people are asking Embark to impose even harder paywalls on their players, and if that’s the case, I’m sorry, but it seems absurdly wrong to me.
I’ve seen more and more people returning to or discovering the game since season 3. The theme is cool, Kyoto is beautiful and fun to explore, and the overall gameplay feels fresh.
I’m quite advanced in the BP and happy to be progressing at a good pace, soon to be donning my samurai outfit and jumping from rooftop to rooftop, hitting down bamboo and ninjas with style.
The ranked system in World Tour is the most inventive and interesting thing for me. It challenges you against stronger opponents, tests you against weaker ones, and rewards you for continuing to play. Some of these interaction can happen at the same match.
How can this not be unanimously seen as wonderful?
Apparently, some people are too anxious and used to getting little when Embark is giving us EVERYTHING.
Don’t get me wrong, I still think the game has its balance, structural, and even technical issues that are indeed worthy of criticism. But wanting the BP to be harder to obtain or praying for a ranked system that only rewards a few is, at the very least, elitist.
I hope Embark is filtering these criticisms well.
You should be able to use VRs for different cosmetics for guns n stuff, which can cost like 1000 - 2000 so you can’t just buy a bunch cuz after a decent amount of playtime there’s no use for them anymore.

So world tour couldve been used as a means to test out gameplay changes each 2 weeks, so the "very important forthcoming changes" actually land with the community. Couldve said in advance: wk1 tourny will have king of the hill style cashouts where money leeches over time instead of a single cash out countdown. wk3 tourny will have sudden death in the final round if both teams cash out a box each, wk 5 will have different vault $ amounts etc..... it wouldve been really fun to watch everyone try to rapidly strategize to a completely new meta, and get super valuable feedback from it that could be confirmed with surveys/votes.

Have you been playing Ranked? Terminal attack sucks, and not in a offhanded way, dismissing your argument.
It has removed core items in the game, been implemented in maps not designed for it, gives a whole new ruleset which benifits certain styles of play, and most of all, has one of the most elitist ranks added, Ruby. Not only that, but being forced into upwards of 30 mins of gameplay with this system feels objectivly painful, moreso when team cohesion is needed, yet rarely acheived in lower levels. The amount of people in ranked now reflect that.

Embark can you guys make legendary skins more unique rather than just changing the look on the guns bc then that makes them overpriced, it would’ve been fair if they had some special features to them like reload/shooting/inspect animations or if they had a cool kill affect to it, as much as I like embarks creativity I just think it should be more acknowledged and worth buying bundles
Honestly a single-shot long range gun for the M class would be amazing, the other high damage niche weapon (1887) forces you to play well with cover or movement, and a single-shot rifle would fit that sorta balancing quite well

Excellent points, I'm with you on practically everything there, it can be a free game for people and it's got some of the most inventive gameplay, it is as you say, wonderful. I've been playing since S1 and only ever did casual, I found ranked too challenging. World tour has been so much fun trying to get better and usually playing with similarly skilled players, much closer games and lots to learn. Battlepass seems to be moving at a good speed too, daily/weekly challenges makes you focus but are achievable. Really good, happy to keep giving money for such a refreshing take on the multiplayer space.
Not to mention, Battlefield 3 was the best game ever as well and you can feel the core of their work in this, and not just level destruction, it's a sandbox where insane plays based on the environment and timing, not solely player skill, can just happen at anytime, it's actually FUN!!!! They should take back the "Only in Battlefield" slogan and make it "Only in The Finals". It's far more appropriate here than in 2042.
still nothing to adress sniper beeng removed from powershift mode. this is just insane to me. that this is still a thing. removes all focus from the actuall point of fighting for the actaull point to chasing afk camping snipers 1000 miles away from the objective all game. there is more than enough weapons to go around. no need for afk snipers camping across the maps all game ruening the entire game mode experience. the focus should be on fighting for the point not chasing people across the endges off the map on huge maps when the sole objective is on a 1% of the map. this is just wrong on all levels. no need for snipers on powershift at all !!!!!

Tornadoes: reduced visibility, windows, doors, and roofs are destroyed, players tossed into the air. Alternative title: Oklahoma.
Hemorrhaging Money: Players lose money for their team each tick that they're below full health and alive (would need a small healing item to balance out).
Dodgeball!: Arena carriables and objects deal 100-150 damage when thrown at an enemy.

Everybody use to make fun of the light class but now that they got the health buff people are just hating on the Light out of habit.
There is no role lock and you get the same rank by playing a different class.
Nothing is stopping you from playing light class.
Terminal attack is a farce. At the very minimum they could have introduced mirrored team loadouts, forcing each team to strategize around given constraints rather than just playing what's meta. As it stands top ranks are dominated by the same four loadouts, and the occasional DMA cheater using ESP. Very anti-fun and the game-mode goes against the fundamental gameplay of an arena shooter.
I would have much rather had a TDM mode - first to 25 kills in a small subsection of any given arena (similar to the TA pre-round limiter), no team wiping, best of 3 format.
Also, FEATURE REQUEST:
Separate keybinds for climb and jump
It'd make it harder to differentiate classes. Height isn't good enough so mediums look athletic, heavies fat, lights skinny

kyoto has awful design. half of the buildings are near impossible to get on top of. it is designed in a way that makes it the wet dream of every light sniper. snipers that do not even attempt to try and win the game. they just sit there and piss off every player in the lobby. its even worse in terminal attack. Youre trying to make a mode that bodes well in actual competition? making a map that is designed for light players is not the way to go.
I get kyoto in most of my games when I play world tour and it sucks to play on, especially when ur going against lights with throwing knives that they can just spam infinitely

there shouldn’t be any changes to evasive dash at all the hammer already has incredible range the dash isn’t only for fights. It’s also for a traversal so if you add a cool down, you’ll be hurting the overall ability

They can still get away even without Dash, even Heavies can get away if they're skilled enough and there are certain surroundings
The point is that Lights can get away and you have no chance to chase them down with current Evasion Dash CD
- Katana isn't reflecting Sword attacks, same as Riot Shield
Medium melee swings, even if timed correctly, sometimes don't even connect to dashing Light
Glitch traps aren't picked that often and even if u carry them along L with a sword will surely hit u once before u dispatch it, and he will only need to do one more heavy swing to finish a Medium off
- Why not bring Heavies into conversation?
As i told Claw CD should be increased so there would be more tangible penalty for missing
I played a lot with skilled Lights and somehow they manage either not to get hooked or dash out of Claw alive
I even played myself as Light to test how it feels like and it's not as horrible as u describe it
At the end of the day Heavies should still have a chance at killing Lights
And Heavies one shotting Lights is a whole other balance problem which should also be overlooked

Lights are extremely frustrating to play against in Terminal Attack. A big part of that is only regenerating back to 100 health on all classes. In particular, this makes snipers and bows extra annoying because long range poke damage on your "armor" health is effectively permanent for the round. Once you lose the major benefit of playing a non-light class, per game balance, you probably lose any subsequent fight against a light class. The hit and run playstyle of lights effectively breaks the point of focusing on objectives, turning every lobby into TDM instead of a tactical push to plant and defend. I feel bumping the health regen to 150 for mediums, and 200 for heavies would add a little more purpose to playing non-light classes.

They need to add a new element: Frost. Frost can make floors slick removing friction and allowing you to slide at high speeds however if you spend too long on frost you will become frozen causing you to take extra critical damage.
Frost can be removed with Pyro.
It also freezes Gas into walls (like goo but blu)
They should make it so if you quick melee while you’re clawed it’ll break the chain.

You should lose a lot fewer ranked points if you're the MVP on the losing team. It sucks to have twice the kills and objective score of the next person on your team and still lose a ton of points.
having kyoto in the second round of world tour seems.... kinda odd. Like I understand it's a new map and you need data for spawn points and stuff but like, sort of defeats the idea of "world tour" when you only have 6 maps. Also I only got skyway twice in like 2 dozen tournaments in the first stop, I didn't even know it was part of the rotation until yesterday, and my stage 2 contracts are just the same as stage 1?
@jade inlet we had a guy get disconnected for being AFK while we were defending a cashout in WT because we weren't getting attacked and he was just standing there.

Yes, I agree. This is what I always suspected and I think Embark will never be able to be transparent about it, because it would mean publicly criticizing their publisher's strategy, and that just can't happen. Yet, this decision may drive The Finals into the wall, while it would have expanded for sure if they had kept Cashout the main focus of the game. I don't understand how whoever could make that call, it doesn't make any sense. The game has so many qualities. It just needs marketing and time.
I don't understand when I do very well. During a game and my teammates and me win. I get around 580 points. but when I lose 6 to 7. And I do the best on my team. And we're going against the team who has more points than us. I lose 1000 points. That makes no sense.
Can someone please answer my question because.this rank system is worse than last season and is about to make me blow my head off.

I’m getting really worried about what this game is turning into. Started playing it because of the cashout mode being so different from anything I had played before. During S2 I played for many hours almost every day because I wanted that diamond FCAR skin. The Finals was the only game I played. I really loved it. The grind was really fun too because of how no match was like the other in the cashout mode. My initial reaction when they announced TA being the ranked mode in S3 was ”This was unexpected but I can understand why they want to try it and I’ll give it a fair chance”. I played ranked in S3 for a couple weeks and at first it was really fun. I don’t know exactly when S3 was released but I’ve already reached a point where I feel like the game has become really dry and the TA grind is not enjoyable at all. The mode is really confusing and the maps really don’t work well in a 5v5 tactical shooter. You never know if you’re gonna get picked off by a sniper from 200m away or if you’re gonna get backstabbed by an invisible light. There’s no way to prepare yourself for a fight like there is in cashout and the ”no healing, no revives” doesn’t make it any better. I’m still gonna play the game every now and then because I want to complete the BP and career circuits. However I’ve started going back to other games I used to play a lot because there’s no way I’m gonna keep putting as much time into the game as I did in S2…

I've been playing since alpha and the quick cash 3v3v3 format is the best form of cashout. playing world tour almost every single knock out round we're just emoting with each other while we cashout because all 3 other teams are on the other side of the map playing a different game mode.

Just some thoughts:

Of course, TA ranked is fine, but returning to our Cashout roots is imperative. S4 should definitely have a polished and acceptable Ranked mode where everyone can grind for rewards. TA is NOT THE FINALS and you guys know that.

Something most FPS's have as a fun/optional mode that is missing: Deathmatch or TDM. A great way for players to learn the ropes and mechanics of the game without having to deal with objective-based combat. I feel like this is an easy add and should be a permanent add.

Better stats tracking and displays in the careers tab. I kinda wish there was a better way to see our stats and progression in ranked or just generic metrics. Especially, in comparison to other players.

Lastly, and most importantly, a better spectate and private match mode where competitive games can come to life and private/public tournaments can be held. I'd love to see this game flourish competitively and I think it can, regardless of the "3rd party" arguments against it. It's a different style of play and people need to get USED to it. the "Get 15 Eliminations or assists with Launchers or Shotguns" contract is not progressing. Tried with SH 1900, MGL23, KS23, RPG7, no progress from kills or assists at all. 😦
The claw glitch with lights is still in the game. Once you get clawed you can never use your specialization or interaction. Only way to fix is to leave the game and rejoin

Yup I had it at a very crucial moment in a game and even dying once didn't fix it for some reason. Really love the game but more than new content personally I just think they need a lot of fixes and tweaks

I’ve got a contract for shotgun or launcher eliminations/assists - the model 1887 isn’t counting towards that. I’m sure it’s a bug but it’s frustrating because I spent some coins on a skin to use for it to look cool 👀
i think riot shield should have more cover making it less punishing for covering distance, spear needs some sort of buff either damage, speed or distance. i think the right click for sword should do less damage but 2x the lunge animations, flashbangs should get a different animation such as the middle of the screen stays white longer then the edges of the screen or after the white wears off you see everything fuzzy, dagger should recieve a left click buff. throwing knives and dagger should be able to hold right click making combat smoother, maybe winch claw buff such as a faster time to use
The lunge animation for the katana skin on the sword should be different. It shouldn't be a fencing lunge animation but instead a unsheathe lunge animation. Honestly a big miss opportunity
Ideas for the flashbang:
Maybe decrease effect on team mates
Maybe decrease effect on deployer
Maybe increase flash/deafening effect time
Maybe favorably offset the effect on the deployer and increase effect on enemy
Maybe take it out the game
Maybe have it work through shields (regardless of shield LOS to enemy)
Maybe decrease the effective time on deployer and allow standard effect time on enemy
have the second week of world tour be different from the first. (whats the point of having potential rule swaps if we arent gonna swap them)
Each of the rotations have different map pools. The last one was just seoul and kyoto, whilst this one is vegas, monaco, and kyoto.

Embark, please fix your abysmal matchmaking system, it's worse than having no SBMM at times. I have teammates who are the same RP as me, and I am doing as much as my entire team combined, or my teammates are just throwing. Match based off of something else, since you switched the ranked game mode to poorly optimized Valorant, it's impossible to solo carry now, because I don't just have to clutch a 1v3 every time, I now have to clutch a 1v5 every round. It is sending the message of a big middle finger to all solo queuers.
Why do I still lose ANY RP when 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4 of my teammates leave the game? Why are you punishing me for your poorly designed matchmaking and punishment system, you can't even report the people when they leave because they're not in the game anymore. Playing ranked TA just feels like putting 850 RP on red or black and then spinning the wheel. There is no winning as long as I have to always play with the odds massively stacked against me. Switching the ranked game mode back to cashout would get rid of 90% of the issues in the game right now. TA was good as a regular mode, not the main stage mode, to the point that people call this game The Terminals.

--Heavy--
Revert the Sledgehammer multihit change, but instead of the sledge dealing 200 to every enemy, it should make less damage with each enemy it hits (Maybe -80 damage per hit?)
Remove the Sledge's hitbox when the sledge is behind the heavy with light swing (to prevent being hit while the heavy's not looking at you, behind his back)
Rework (or revert) sledge destruction patterns, which seem to have only gotten worse with each update (walls not breaking where the cursor is)
Claw is just frustrating to fight, there should be no stun and the pull should be instant.
--Medium--
Give the smoke grenade to the medium class (makes more sense than light, very underused, could diversify attack options)
--Light--
Bow is annoying to fight, same issues as sniper, very little counterplay against an experienced player. (especially on Powershift)
The light class get way more attention then the others, it has the most weapons and unique gadgets ( 11 to 8 weapons , 9 to 7M to 6H gadgets), the only class that has something more is the heavy with 4 abilities
Give the LH1 it's old recoil (the light class is supposed to take skill, not be free kills)
The Sword's lunge invalidates any other melee (in general, lights stomps all melees)

Heavy's LMGs are in a DESPERATE need of a buff, compared to literally anything they are just a losing choice and thats coming from someone who only uses the ks23, I got the new m60 skin and played around and man its just not good. Feels horrid. Low damage, the damage drop off over range, the weird first shot recoil, mid fire rate. Lewis gun barely gets a pass and just BARELY because of its damage which even took a hit last few patches.

@pearl kiln hi there. UncleAlwaysDead#1422 here. When I spam the overhead swing on my hammer it tends to lock up in animations.. especially if I go to primary swing directly during an overhead. I almost guarantees a non reg on your next swing every time . An instead of taking away multi hit on melee such as the hammer overhead, possibly any enemies that are close enough to be hit, do maybe the 135 from the primary swing to off targets. Seems a waste when they put themselves in those squishy situations. Thank you.
oh and nerf rpg, charge and slam damage. make the rpg like a dual rpg one where its two shots and 60 damage each and charge and slam either loads faster or keeps enemies closer while you run into them
I don't know if the general player base is shifting radically more toxic or what, but I'm being placed in lobbies with some rather mean spirited people. Is there anyway that you guys could implement some sort of player ranking system that places courteous players together while all the people who abuse voice and text chat get placed into their own toxic waste container? :)
Also, I'm running into several low level players who beam me in the head mid range or through while completely ignoring recoil. I get there's a lot of processes that go into anti-cheat, but I feel like if this a natural player I shouldn't be matched with them in my lobbies.

Hacks are through the roof this season, recoil scripts, smurfing, trolling TA because its garbage. They wasted everybodys time for 6 months, rug pulled and served up a different game entirely. If this was a paid game it'd be straight up fraud lol

Recon Sense ping idea:
-Similar to the evasive dash the Medium will have charges that they can fire off and wait for recharge. Maybe 2 long medium duration pings or 3 quick pings. Long recharge time to avoid it being oppressive.
New weapons launching in a powerful state:
-Get the players off the meta weapons from season 1 and get us to use the new weapons.
+Rebalance new weapons mid season
-After a week or two we rebalance the weapons and work towards an equilibrium.
Encouraging team play:
-Make a System where you can ONLY progress by playing with friends

Also, it effects arena carriables, throwables and tossable gadgets because of high wind speed.

the problem is, that are a lot of cheaters... not 1 or 2... today I played some TA matches and between suspicious and for me, really cheaters.... well I think the number are close to 7~10 (I'm platinum) (and now I just give up... really... there's no death cam... and other things... and we're already in season 3)

TA isn't what will bring players to play the game, it's dominated by lights and discourages any melee playstyles because of 100hp cap and no res (Melee takes alot more risk than guns, isnt worth it)
More tourneys are needed to draw in interest for players, Twitch Rivals is a good start
Add flashbang message on the eliminated screen (Who threw it???)
I don't understand the inclusion of the S3 melee weapons, they're too similar to their original counterpart, the katanas are somewht different but not enough.
The tutorials should teach new players about keybinds and encourage communication (Comms key, Emote key, Expression key, right click to drop items ect.)
Defense-specific buffs for each class
Given player feedback on third partying, instead of changing the Cashout gamemode, we should be encouraging players to defend cashouts by buffing their abilitiy to defend.
These buffs would only be active while you are defending a cashout and within a certain range of the cashout you are defending.
These changes would make it more difficult to third party (but not impossible) and also less frustrating to be on the receiving end of a third party.
They would also make taking a cashout more difficult, which incentivises a strong first push on the vaults - and makes it more rewarding - while also encouraging players to attack sooner which will reduce (but not eliminate) the chance of last minute steals.
Heavy
Deployables and Shields have increased health when defending a cashout.
This change would enable Heavy to be an effective defensive role, while also preventing their gadgets from being too powerful in a teamfight or when stealing a cashout.
Medium
While defending a cashout, kills and assists reduce the cooldown of your gadgets - kills reduce the cooldown more than assists, balance numbers TBD.
This change would enable Medium to re-deploy defenses quickly and recover from team fights.
Light
While defending a cashout, kills grant you additional cash and also restore your health.
This change would enable Lights to stay in the fight longer, do what they do best, and also get rewarded for doing so.
Still getting powershift matches with less than full players. THE FINALS is totally cooked
Not a fan of getting a matchmaking suspension yet never got into a match. If the game says there's a network error or unable to connect to a match, suspensions shouldn't happen.
Reduce damage on flame thrower
I just started playing light after not playing it since the end of season one, and wow. THIS META IS THE MOST BORING META I'VE HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF PLAYING. Playing light just feels so superior in every possible way. I get to see people through walls, melt them before they get a chance to look in my direction and have movement to even if they do see me. This is wild that this is the "balance" they settled on. I find light insanely boring and yet I'm not gonna stop playing it cause its just too easy to dominate other classes

What if cosmetics affected gameplay? Like they can test it in terminal attack since it looks like they want that to be the more serious mode. What if things like gas masks nullify gas effects, shades reduce flashbangs, vests gave damage reduction from bullets, or eyes like the lizard or glowing eyes highlight enemies for you
maybe not the very best video to showcase, but alot of medium players will know this. you deploy jumppad and you cant immediatly jump, often times you just walk or dash over it. a fix to this would be very nice

the number of times ive died to a shot after i was several feet around the corner of a solid wall is infuriating
my statue will even drop that several feet around the corner behind the wall, so i know i was definitely safe
super frustrating play well and get out of a hairy situation just in time and die anyways because the other person has high ping

This might just be me but the secondary fire for the Spear needs a slight buff and can go in one of many ways
1.Small damage buff (nothing to big or it could be too broken)
2.Increase speed when performing the move or range (people can just walk out of it)
3.Give yourself the option to cancel the animation (Sometimes I miss click and I’m stuck in a 3 swing animation)
4.Make the attack damage everyone around you (sometimes it feels like the spear right click only hits in a cone infront if you)
Changes for light are a good idea. Not sure about medium. Heavy should have close range, mid damage, high ammo weaponry. Nerf heavy dps(specifically rpg and charge, also winch) buff lewis recoil, buff defensive gadgets.
Composition should have light as offensive, medium as support and a flexible player, heavy as defense
on low settings in night environments, invis is literally not visible at all. not even a shimmer as intended
also i think im done with world tour. im not finding it nearly as fun as quick cash (and in quick cash i actually get teammates who have played the game for more than ten minutes)

Bring back gadget swapping. Using sword is inherently putting yourself at a disadvantage, and cannot be reasonably used in ranked playlists.
To explain in detail, gadget swapping is not an exploit to shorten the lunge animation to attack faster. Rather the act of switching off the weapon cancels your current attack mid lunge, ending the attack early. This is a risk/reward play, as if you end to early, you could fail to do damage entirely. And if too late, you waste milliseconds before you can attack again.
Giving players the opportunity to make these risk/reward plays adds to the skill expression in the game. The mere milliseconds it spares is not something that will make swords unfairly powerful. If anything, it may still be unviable.
I understand there was recently community backlash against the sword, but the majority of the player population who were complaining never had enough experience to judge it fairly. Most of the complaints were aimed at emote cancelling, which is entirely different and much more powerful than gadget swapping.

Turret locks on already. Rapid fire 5 bullet damage but doubling due to the fast fire rate melting health down. The max bullets has to be 60-80 that’s enough to assist any medium. 2.5 second cool down every 15-20 bullets. Manual reloading mechanic for continuous fire. 10-15 second cooldown once all bullets are gone. This would end the turret in corners method a little its too assisting in my opinion

I know I said this already, but just spreading the word, but having a 5v5 Cashout game mode as our competitive mode would probably help with most of the current problems of the old cashout.

I suggest a more fun loading screen when rebuilding the arena,
right now it feels like it's stuck loading and is very bland.
Potential solutions:
- Show a sponsor (ospuze, etc) ad that matches the length of the rebuilding,
so if it's actually stuck people would know. - Reduce the loading time
- Show the rebuild process
- Replay the highlights of the game
- Show the destruction in reverse
As a few people have mentioned here before, TA often devolves into TDM rather than any meaningful tactical/objective pushing dynamics. Honestly though, unless you're playing medium you don't have many tactical options available to you. I always find TA to feel shallow because there's not too many interesting gadgets, traps, or equipment. The gadgets we havve work well for the purposes of cashout, but for a gamemode like TA that is supposedly trying to encourage a much more methodical approach to combat and objective play, it's not enough. I hate comparing The Finals to other games but we need to be honest for the sake of TA's longevity. Other games with the search & destroy gamemode usually have equipment that's more interesting to use and also in higher quantity. And since everything is destructible usually attackers can completely circumvent setups with the gadgets we do have. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but in its current state its too easy to do that. I hate to say it but we might need to introduce structure reinforcement, or some equivalent to that that fits the Finals thematically. Maybe being able to glitch an entire section of a floor with a gadget you place down like the motion sensor that prevents C4, thermal bore, and dematerializer from functioning on its surface? I don't know, I think there are a lot of opportunities to introduce cool items that make TA more deep, but the question becomes will these gadgets designed for TA have to also be present in the other gamemodes? I'm curious to see how far Embark is willing to take changes to TA specifically or if cashout is always going to come first and interfere with how things are done for TA.

Realistically I think it just reloads the map or server, it's not so much rebuilding it's why I notice everyone leaves chat and come back - But I agree it currently is somewhat slow
how there's no balance update this patch is crazy. btw everytime you guys update there are even MORE bugs that show up, how lovely. 3 seasons in this game still acts and feels like it's in beta.

ok So locking Stage 1 win 3 matches is BS when 99% of teammates are trolling or just plane un equipped to play the game type. i've played well over 50 games and only got 1 win due to multiple trolls leavers and completely useless team mates so that being said will the same win 3 games contract that is now in stage2 going to be the same because i belive that is not rite.

Really? The world tour contracts lock? And an entire circuit was cut too, so that's a significant progression penalty... yikes, really starting to hate the circuit system (beyond some already dumb, grindy challenges that basically force you out of gameplay, or to play modes you dislike)

On the Asian server, Chinese hackers play the game by forming an Unrank Hack account boosting account party to raise the main account rank score. China Hackers are ruining the fair rank game. It's really serious. Please take care of it quickly. Embark needs to put a requirement on the Unrank account as China Hackers play indiscriminately with the Unrank account when they play rank. Many users are quitting the game.

I thought it was just me having this but no, my friends has it, the random people I play with or against has it and in ranked this thing is the most annoying thing.
But that's not all of course cause if the game crashes then the game thinks u went afk or ragequitted so it gives you a penalty and I am kinda ok with that cause you dont know if people had connection issues or did it on purpose but I am not okay if it's a game problem cause yesterday I had 10 mins then 20/30 and it didnt reset with the midnight passing so now I have 1 hour penalty time and I am forced to dont play today and maybe even tomorrow cause after the penalty you gonna ban the player.

Everytime it crashes I always send the problem throught the Unreal Engine thing. So please, PLEASE fix this thing, people spend money, I spent money, and time ... .-. We deserve a better game, service, stop with the skins and with the useless things for a second and FIX THE GAME.

I was one of the people asking for ranked system to be reworked or changed but current TA is worse than everything lol
Dual sword (needs buff)

- 100% deflection rate
- Change the damage reduction based on incoming damage not per enemy (70% is great but when you have 2 people shooting at you its a quick death)

Day 13 of asking to revert TA ranked (its a casual gamemode that is NOT suited for competition) and bring back cashout ranked (at least for S4 and onward)

if we are going to keep TA as ranked - PLEASE INCREASE THE RECONNECT TIME WHEN MATCH STARTS - especially when there are frequent bugs that cause you to DC from matches. on Pc you legitemately cannot load the game fast enough to get back into the match before the timer runs out......
Why are points not refunded when a cheater you played against gets banned?
Each badge floats fairly high above the clothing, often making them look awkward and visually unappealing to wear, even though the badges themselves are nice.

World tour offers nothing for former cashout ranked grinders besides the mode itself, we are actively ruining the mode for the casual playerbase while grinding it though.
S2 overall felt like a step in the right direction, S3 couldve been amazing for this game and its community but instead you completely ignored your ranked community on what we actually wanted (rework/fixing cashout) and gave us an uncompetitive gamemode nobody asked for.
- the balancing gets better with each balance patch but then we give heavy a roadhog hook, aka the "I hit you on Light so you are dead" Spec, because Heavy clearly needed more offensive tools!
S3 is my least played season so far and it will most likely stay that way, might be back for S4 if the game still runs by then but im personally just done talking into the Void.

EXACTLY, I have stopped playing as of Tuesday and been praying Embark world relay some type or information…… Sadly they have ghosted the community. Just like most people when I leave a game its almost certainly for good or short bursts of returning. Hence why you never what to piss off the community and drive em away. LITERALLY none of my 5 hardcore friends play this game anymore as of season 3. We all have 500-800 hours each in the game. DAMN shame because I’m legitimately sad due to loving the game prior to S3 RIP

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Improvement to cashout: make all teams replenish health, gadgets/specs cooldowns, and revive teammates on successful team wipe.
By doing this, it is possible to keep cashout without drastic change to combat 3rd partying meta. Since the winning/defending team now has even playing field to fight the 3rd party.
It also opens up new strat for the attacker team to keep 1 member alive away from the team fight to possibly deny the refreshment with the tradeoff with less firepower/support in team fight.

we figured out that it's actually a driver issue from nvidia and not optimization issue from embark, by rolling back to an older driver like 546.33 we was able to have the same good performance we was used to get

can we please just have normal guns in the game. we dont need snipers, we dont need grenade launchers, we dont need melee. Just keep the normal vanilla weapons and the game will be so much better. @upper citrus @versed bridge such a shame that people dont want this game to improve. @dry raft snipers just need to be fully removed from the game i dont care as much about the other weapons. Snipers is easy to counter. Go inside a building and play shotgun.
They just need to buff and nerf different weapons to shake up the meta, having these different type of weapons is what makes the game fun, but if 1 or 2 weapons are always better than the rest then the majority of weapons in a class are useless

here you can clearly see the main problem with duo blades, they sometimes just dont reflect when they should. this makes duo blades extremly unreliable in combat. it should get fixed to always deflect when it should

I love what Embark is doing! I'm gonna play this game til I can't play it no more! I still think the health pools in ranked TA could be adjusted. I;m sure you already know it's dominated by L's. I hope the devs keep their heads up! A substantial part of he community has turned so toxic. It wasn't this way in the beginning. I thinks it's mostly new people coming from other games they've forced themselves to play too long.. makes a person feel a certain typa way.. Keep up the great work!
I think it would be better if it deflected all bullets but only for like 5 seconds, then it should go on a cooldown until to can deflect bullets again
BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

I like the game and everything but one thing that is so frustrating is that almost every game there is a cheater either blatantly cheating or closet cheating. I know that the AC against aimbot helps but it just isnt enough i feel like.

The fact that in TA ranked i'm playing into people at 30-35k, who i know are smurfs of top20 players and are stacking is pretty funny. Love to lose tons of points into a smurf stack. 🙂
Then i can try to win 5 games to get my points back to be even a bit closer to 50k+.
Also, along with this, boosting accounts by stacking with smurf that is low elo to have easy games should be a perma-ban offense.

You should be able to leave the game when the “credits” are rolling without getting a ban/-xp warning. The game is over when you are victorious or get eliminated.

I think the problem nothing mentioned u can miss on deflecting bullet, it's definitely bug where some bullet still can pass through your Defense stance
If it's 5 sec CD, then allow DB doing defense stance while running or even better u run faster to catch Light

please rework cloak to have low activation cost but run out faster the longer cloak is active. this way you aren't punished for activating your cloak and instead punish cloak users for staying invis too long and camping with it. it would also differentiate cloak and vanish bomb more (cloak for using invis in quick short bursts during fights, and vanish bomb for safely getting away when low or to sneak up on players) being able to toggle invis on and off is what makes cloak good, using up a 3rd of the ability to activate cloak sucks. as it is rn, it feels just like vanish bomb but in your specialization slot

I feel you man, I'm often on 15 kills by the end of the match and my teammates almost always score like they have been sightseeing with 2 kills and at least 8 deaths or something. I'm not good enough to kill enemies and babysit my teammates at the same time.
give us cashout tournaments without respawn tokens so it forces more team play and gets more tactical and also add fixed classes. it's a shame that you cant use the healer in TA and that it doesn't feel like the finals. I'm sure if you tweak cashout the right way, it can feel tactical, like TA is supposed to be. so it doesn't seem like an out of place copy of other games, but instead feels like the finals still.

I would say 1 respawn token per game would be needed at least because you know how it is sometimes you get unlucky but I think fixed classes in tournament would be a good idea to try out at the least

Cloak midfights sounds like a nightmare, it’s supposed to be used to initiate and reposition to take fights not to spam during fight because imagine you have someone just peaking corners non stop while shooting and cloaking again
when using defib, the medium should share 50% of their remaining hp with the target
if a team is on their last leg and a medium defibs someone, then both will be somewhat easier to deal with
this opening will result in less frustration on the opposing side
it would also add risk, because chaining defibs leaves the team on low hp
defib will remain powerful because the total hp stays the same while adding another weapons dps
