You can quite literally download a script off YouTube for the finals it's that easy to cheat ATM. And even if they aren't downloading a script they use dma chip to make it look like they are not cheating and can't get detected for cheating. It's a PC issue. The only issue with console are Cronus and xim users. PC has wall hacks and aimboting.
Please add team deathmatch for these people who don't play object please. it's annoying having all these players who do not do objective and we just lose

I could see them reducing the swivel of the turet to from 360 to 270 so there is a spot where you can destroy it without being seen. But not stop it entirely if you aren't in that spot

the throwing knives could use an adjustment to the accuracy penalty while dashing/jumping, right now they encourage light players to just stand still and strafe instead of using movement

more of a bug report than feedback, but if I am alt-tabbed while loading a game, I often get stuck on the loading screen despite being able to hear the game going on in the background. The only solution I'm aware of is to reboot the game.
Bank It full of Heavies with flamethrowers sucks. Wish I could play Quick Cash for the Career Circuit but bug makes it impossible to count Quick Cash plays towards the objective. What a great Sunday.
Was there ever any explanation why the "play again" button on console was changed to be the same as "report player" on the summary screen?? What was wrong with the previous button it was assigned to?
If the point of grinding world tour leaderboards is to get the most cash, then why are the final round vaults only 10k? I suggest that the final round vaults should be 50k.

I would recommend not being the one to open the vault. It gives you very little value and just lets the enemies know where you are. I'd run around the vault looking for enemies, not opening the vault yourself.
m60 was already average as hell the nerf makes it a peashooter, heavy is so boring now they have zero guns

- if you wanna balance cashout for ranked maybe jus make kills worth more
if have u ever played a competitive shooter, people in comp games think about their sensitivity for building muscle memory and convert it when playing other games. YOU CANT DO THAT IN THE GAME BECAUSE THE SENSITIVITY SETTINGS ARE GARBAGE. if the devs think these settings are ok they are disgustingly oblivious.
some of my challenger missions donât work at all like everytime i try to get a kill with quick melee or arena carriables it never accounts to the contract and same thing for one melee kill and the grenade contract takes forever to achieve so that leaves me with three challenger contracts i cant complete

Day 97 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, youâre probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

For s4 ranked, I think a cashout tournament format with 2 teams of 6 in each game rather than 4 teams of 3 would be cool. Like still 2 vaults, 2 cashboxes, 2 cashout stations, just with 2 teams so there's less 3rd partying
The block for the katanas is extremely inconsistent, you could be on a level surface blocking someone dead center and still not deflect any damage

this is backward to every other game ive played that has a grapple as well as inverted to common sense.
why would i hold back to go up and forward to go down??
think of like leaning into something, leaning forward into the grapple will make you go lower and vice versa 
yeah same with using a rope to climb. you dont push forward to go up you usually pull towards yourself
so S is up has always made sense to me.

nah it is the best movement ability when you get good at it.
im not asking it to be changed just an invert option in settings.
but with a keyboard i have to actively let go of W to hit S when useing the grapple and then let go of S to hit W again, and that makes it hard to do any movment.
ive been using grapple for a while now but it still feels backwards no matter how much i use it.
like if i was using controller i know it would feel better because of the way a joystick works but on m&k it just feels disconected.

I want to thank you for the experience that you've given me with The Finals, but I'm gonna have to dip from this game, partly for life reasons.
I'm hoping Embark can resolve issues with ranked and balancing that people are strongly passionate against, so that player growth and retention for this unique shooter will become less and less of a problem. I want this game to disrupt the first person shooter market, that momentum has struggled to remain after launch. I want this game to gain a loyal audience that's comparable to that of established franchises.
I'm looking forward to playing this game a bit more in the future.
This game will not thrive simply because embark does not have the capacity to understand how bad the solo queue experience is. They are testing this game in their comfy 3 dev premade teams while in reality it's 1 guy playing, 1 afk and 1 leaving teammate. This is the reason why most people don't play this. It requires at least 2 people to play to not go insane, which is a high bar for most people.
So i'm pretty sure it goes by how quickly you win and how many times you die. I'm not sure kills matter much if at all. Every game I've had over 1k gained, we won in 7 or 8 rounds, and I died like once. but I've won in 7 or 8 and died 6 times and only get 500. Had a 13 rounder 4v5 where I posted I think 28 kills and 8 deaths and I think I only got 800. Which is another issue. The game punishes 13 rounds A LOT. Like. Really annoying to sweat for 13 rounds, have a really good competitive match.. and get 500 RS. Meanwhile you can get carried through an incredibly boring match in 9 rounds and get 800. Game doesn't reward the GOOD matches. It rewards the horribly unbalanced matches.

More gunFu! Shooting from ledges, a wall kick off for light AND MEDIEUMs. Do stuff on the controller for all players and make the controller map bigger! Perhaps a slight 1 second wall run? Make it mechanical not a specialization. Meaning itâs in the controller for all.

In that case, I hope Embark will wake up to the fact that no one is having a good time with being forced to play well as a team (causal as well as ranked, I refuse to touch ranked regardless of its game mode), and that solo or even just newer players who actually want to play as a team (but are matched with throwers or cheaters) are forever forced to keep Call of Duty going with no other alternative for an online shooter for their tastes. I want CoD to cease being the one stop shop for all deathmatch and solo kill hunting enjoyers.
Single player shooters will still have lower skill ceilings than online shooters, and more companies would rather make the entirety of gaming live service if they can't make a constant stream of money out of it - I say don't make single player games victim to the live service model, where players are locked out of games if the company abandons the game, or if the company folds.

I think its time to have another patch fix on s3. A lot of players are still struggling on freezing during the World Tour and ended up forcing a restart and being banned for long duration of time. Its not even our pc's fault since our units is much on a higher scale than the minimum requirement. We do understand that only a few people suffer from it but that doesn't mean You'll ignore it because it still happens anyway. I do hope we get an announcement regarding the performance drops midway dueing the season because it really kills me and the fun I had before
Ok lets be real here. This game's ranked matchmaking and rank score is acting like it has millions and millions of players. Right now the user-base is small. The reality is you are going to more often than not run into extremely lopsided match ups. Rank score doesnt mean shit in terms of matchmaking. If this is the reality, simply punish the underdog team less for losing. Subtract less rank score if the losing underdog team loses to a team full of high KDA players. Personal performance and KDA stats need to play a bigger part of matchmaking because using rank score as the primary matchmaking metric is just not working. Its too deceiving. Rank score match making isnt it

Using a shotgun should give you a clear cut advantage in close quarters. I'm consistently losing sub 5 meter gunfights with the SA12 against other heavies using LMGs even if I hit every single shot, 4 in a row point blank. I hit a guy with 7 slugs center mass and he still killed me with a lewis gun.

@muted moss 100 damage is 2/3rd of a light health so the light have to play like he have 50hp so he can survive the rpg

Buff Lewis gun recoil, damage nerf, sure but the recoil was unnecessary. You already nerfed recoil at the start of season 2. It was fine outside of damage adjustment.
Buff M60 to at least 20 damage it's too weak now. Does zero damage at any range, close, medium, and definitely long.
LH1 is proof that no one seems to know how to balance. The problem with LH1 wasn't it's damage. It was the the insane recoil Buff you gave it. It's still overtuned. Revert to season 2 recoil. Was still insanely powerful but actually took skill and mastery.

the LH1 should be reverted to S2 state, but then given the spread and damage buff that it got recently (before the damage was nerfed to below where it was before). It should do 50dmg a shot.
Dude, what the hell is up with the light class?
Light's strength comes from their 1v1 potential and their ability to get out of unfavorable fights. They have a pile of tools they can use to gtfo whenever they want, and their health regenerates fast, allowing them to quickly re-engage. If they can't secure a kill, they can continuously pester a team to open up opportunities for their teammates to capitalize on enemy mistakes. Due to their fundamental nature as a class, light definitely had the lowest skill floor and the highest skill ceiling. Their DPS was comparatively low without specialist weapons like the sniper or the dagger, because a large section of their kit revolves around denying counterplay and getting themselves into and out of fights.
So why in godâs name would you give them such highly effective spam weapons?
That's why the throwing knife and lh1 buffs were so devastating, despite you believing that they were just small numerical changes. Giving the light big shot damage dealer spam weapons without a tradeoff of reduced escape utility gave them the best of both worlds, enabling massive damage output at all ranges with just as few gameplay counters.
Constructive criticism
I get why you wanted to make those balance changes. I can tell you from experience that the throwing knives felt mediocre to use. It wasnât confetti damage by any means, but it just felt like I was kneecapping myself by using it. Plus, the LH1 giving people motion sickness was definitely bad, but I also unfortunately think thatâs kinda what kept it in check. Spamming it sucked and the gun handled badly if you did, so you didnât use it for spam unless you had to. I think that a better solution would have been just making it a gameplay element rather than a visual one, and increasing spread if you spammed it while reducing the movement of the actual model. As for the throwing knives, just take some power from the primary fire and give it to the alt-fire. Obviously thatâs easier said than done, but as it stands the alt-fire hits like a wet blanket compared to the effort it takes to use.
anyway that's the other half of my wall of text. ignore it if you want but i rellay love this game and hate to see its balance flushed down the toilet like it currently is

Spear is broken. Needs to hard nerfed. Melee shouldn't outdamage anything in an fps game. No skill involved in any of them not to mention the aoe damage.

personally i would just give it a continuous spin attack where you hold it outward (and maybe it speeds up in the beginning?)

I think the blades could be buffed a little. I know they're pretty strong when it comes to blocking projectiles, but the enemy just has to backup, shoot, backup, shoot and so on until I die... Plus, that makes me run far away from any cashout...
My feeling when playing the blades is that I have no range at all compared to a heavy class playing the hammer/spear or a light class playing the sword. And it's not like I had a possibility to protect myself with a shield, get invisible or flee extremely fast...
Blocking projectile is indeed useful but only when the opponent is aiming at the torso, otherwise any sniper/knives/bow/SH1900/sword/revolver/shotgun/MGL32/KS-23/hammer/spear player can still hit you easily when you're running towards them...
Another problem I've encountered is the speed of my character when I'm swinging the blades. It's, from my perspective, almost impossible to catch up with a light class running backwards... Yet a hammer guy can run + swing almost as fast as I can and still have an impressive reach...
The only good situation with the blades are : Surprising an enemy, being in a close melee fight or against a "bad" rifle player (still not always a good situation)
In conclusion, it's a good weapon (had 19 kills with it once) but we could have a slight buff to make them more "useful" because it's just too frustrating to be powerless at mid-range against any enemy, considering that you have to walk in an open field during the game anyway...
Another good thing would be to be able to stop the swinging animation to block projectiles because any missed hit basically means that you die
this game requires no skill to win. just wait to 3rd party kill the last guy that's 1 hp and easy W . braindead no fun. got TIRED of the same meta for 3 seasons straight. it doesn't feel good when you win it doesn't feel good when you loose (sorry my skill level is too high that i actually need competition)

Following up on the spear, comparing to the sledgehammer, the hammer is still offensively better and does MORE damage, making the spear a completely useless option as an actual melee weapon as the hammer can effectively deal with all builds better than the spear. Forgetting to mention that even if the spear has more range, that still doesn't help as it's only good attack is just spamming M1 as the spin is useless.

People will disagree with you. But both the LH1 and TKs went from underused to overused between S1/S2 and S3. Which is enough of a hint that they have been over-buffed.
The LH1 was fine before. The motion sickness argument makes me giggle in the context of a game as chaotic as The Finals. If the visual recoil was enough to make people feel unwell, I don't know how the same people could even play one round without puking all over their keyboard. I think it was mostly changed to be more noob-friendly.
TKs were and should have remained a difficult weapon to play, something that you pick to display your skills. I've seen good players do very well with them before. Right now, the ROF and damage per hit is dumb for a weapon that can be (AND IS) constantly spammed.
I feel dual blades could use some changes so people can't just escape their range so easily. Right now, I feel like I'm chasing people more than I'm actually hitting them.

Last I checked, aka less then a week ago there was a official tournament and there was only 1 or 2 light players per match. If light really was as OP as you make it out to be, why isnt there more light players in high ranks.

you fail to realize the sweats has been playing the same team composition since the closed betas. why would you expect balise to switch off heavy to light all of a sudden? it's a safe meta to just spam heavy auto shottys with shields and a heal beam.
the strat is to 3rd party all the time and dive into the cashout with quadruple shields. these are things most people wont do or see for the majority of the casual playerbase.

I dont have any problems at all when facing lights or when playing as a light.

@river plover he clearly meant that many L players only care about stacking up kills regardless of winning or losing the round. And he's right. Also the "L is not used in competitive games" argument is getting very very old. In a ranked tourney survivability matters much more due to limited respawn credits and team wipe penalties, and any competitive players in any game looks for the best consistency. L is high risk/high reward while the other two are much safer picks with better synergy. So of course the meta is HHM/HMM. And it will probably always be the case, unless L gets buffed to god-tier broken level.
L is still a strong class, and it can easily dominate in casual games.
@neat salmon HP count doesn't matter much, if you play the class right you'll get hit far less than the other two. I play all classes and L is the one I get the best KDRs with.
@haughty bay the typical round with a 3L team: they're basically playing TDM, focusing on making everyone's lives miserable, only to lose, because they're unable or don't even try to steal cashouts.

@rough herald You're adding numbers for drama. A Heavy will rarely ever be able to withstand 2400 damage. If he does, you're either doing it very wrong, or he's a much much better player than you are.

I think the World Tour badges should reward cosmetics, not Multibucks, if you want to encourage play.
If I go for Gold 1, it's a minimum of 40 hours grind (even if I win every match) for the equivalent of $2.50. 80 hours if you have a 50% win ratio.
It's a genuinely awful reward. You should get something unique for such an investment, not something you could instantly replicate by simply removing your sofa cushions.

The deflection has terrible accuracy unless you're pretty close.. Blocking shotguns also hurts quite a lot.

Perhaps increase the number of digits the tally counter charm has, if it tracks kills reliably at all? Three digits may not be enough, as players can easily reach around 10k kills with their favorite weapons. I know this may require a remodel, I hope you can figure out a solution which won't make this look too ugly

Please I beg I plead can we have more (or any) compatibility for the Kitsune and Descartes' Demon masks. I think there should be some sort of Capture the Flag game mode added. Like two stationary vaults and either team has to steal coins or cashboxes or something from them and return them to their base. Full equipment, first to 3 or 5 captures wins. I like a good ol' CTF. This way, unlike TA, your team has to balance offense and defense at the same time.
Additionally, I think that TA needs to have the full equipment enabled. There are advantages for playing light in TA over the other classes. The game was designed with the healing functions/utility in mind. Taking it away doesn't seem to be balancing anything. Especially when mobility, health pools and hit boxes are all effected by the removal of those features. I think it'd be more fun with full functionality.
ah yes, I too take several years to break through a dome, shield, and 2 barricades instead of just going for the heavy first, also the rpg does MASSIVE self damage and its range isnât even that big Iâve been killed countless times by lights because my rocket was millimeters away from hitting them and then I just get rushed with a sword

It is absolutly pointless to play ranked. Can you start banning the people that duo with hackers. And can you start refund the points you lost from hackers. It is -1600 to lose to hacker and +500 for a win.
Light is one pain in the ass too btw. There is so much wrong with it and it's way to Op. Heavy has no movement and light can easily 4 shot a heavy with a bow. I'm a medium main and at this point I'm giving up on even trying to play the game competitively. Either I have to pray that the Lights are non existent or that the match ends. 3 or maybe even two headshots with a bow to the head. Insta dead.

Defense-specific buffs for each class
Given player feedback on third partying, we should be encouraging players to defend cashouts by buffing their abilitiy to defend.
These buffs would only be active while you are defending a cashout and within a certain range of the cashout you are defending.
These changes would make it more difficult to third party (but not impossible) and also less frustrating to be on the receiving end of a third party.
They would also make taking a cashout more difficult, which incentivises a strong first push on the vaults - and makes it more rewarding - while also encouraging players to attack sooner which will reduce (but not eliminate) the chance of last minute steals.
Heavy
Deployables and Shields have increased health when defending a cashout.
This change would enable Heavy to be an effective defensive role, while also preventing his gadgets from being too powerful in a teamfight or when stealing a cashout.
Medium
While defending a cashout, kills and assists reduce the cooldown of your gadgets - kills reduce the cooldown more than assists, balance numbers TBD.
This change would enable Medium to re-deploy defenses quickly and recover from team fights.
Light
While defending a cashout, kills grant you additional cash and also restore your health.
This change would enable Lights to stay in the fight longer, do what they do best, and also get rewarded for doing so.
Remove sniper from the game, it has become nothing but a hassle to play, either against or as, it's unfun to just sit so far from point, and I doubt there's even a way to balance it to be fun anymore with how the game is.

*fix the bug with the winch claw: if a light uses dash the same second winch hits. The winch will do damage but it will be cancelled and break.
*bring back 15dmg winch claw and make it actually stun for a second or two.
*auto reload RPG, stungun, tracking dart and thermal bore. They are already on a cool down why should I need to reload it as well?
*lower the light shotgun damage. They should not be able to 2 shot a heavy.
*reloading should cancell cloking.
*increase gadget damage. If me as a heavy starts shooting a turret with flamethrower at the same time as the turret shoots me. I will be at 70 health when the turret is destroyed.
As the rounds in world tour go on, the total amount of cash you get should increase too. The ratios of them should stay the same but make it so instead of 10k at the first vault itâs like 12k or something on the second round.

3rd Party 3rd Party 3rd Party. No one likes to kill two teams to then get cheesed last minute by a 3rd/4th party. Getting stacks of money for Player/Team kills would greatly reward single player skill and lead to more solo carrying.

Death timers should be have halved to get back into the game faster. Nobody likes to sit and watch timers tick. Idea made by âEllisJacksonâ would be to have revive token act as spawn click revive where you choose (probably a set max distance to a active point) and the animation is an orbital laser that defibs you back in. Also the announcerâs should say to nearby players that a team is orbital beaming nearby. Would lean into the game show theme and be a shake up for game because since timers are shorter it could get you right back into game after a 3rd party wipe. But the whole token revive system would need adjusting. Having 3 of those sounds busted
To make it even MORE juicy, what ever team has an active box in cash out when they are wiped should have the team wipe lost halved or even exempt from it ALL together
- Mode is not balanced. Plain and simple Heavy IS NOT A DAMAGE DEALERâŚ. Let me repeat that HEAVY IS NOT A DAMAGE DEALER. Balance the game around most people playing MEDIUM. Light and Heavy are the X -factors which are more niche roles. Heavy is a massive tank that completely disrupts fights THAT DOES NOT DO ALOT OF DAMAGE. They should be able to single handily destroy and entire building themselves easily to disrupt. They should be able to heroic leap to a low hp teammate and give a temp shield or something to protect. They should have a hard to land dropkick ability that sends an enemy flying through walls far away as a disruption. Their charge and slam should do NO DAMAGE but instead last way longer and bounce enemies around like pin balls to cause massive DISRUPTION.

Should be BURST Glass Cannons, a light get the drop on you without a support helping you, you SHOULD BE DEAD. ALL THERE WEAPONS SHOULD BE CLOSE RANGED like the M11. It is impossible to properly balance otherwise, if they do get ranged it needs to be like the bow or something equally hard to use. HIGH SKILL HIGH REWARD class.

It was my rank up match to platinum and in my team the algorithm gave me 1 silver and 3 unranked players, but in the enemies there were all GOLD players and my team got banged easily obviously, but I played good, I killed 6 and had a Combat Score of around 5000 but still I got - 1270 RS for no reason, then in the next match 1 guy left and we lost so rank up is pure luck and nothing based on your skills whatsoever. SO MAY GOD TEACH THE DEVS THEIR LESSON IN THEIR PERSONAL REAL LIVES FOR GOOD.
IF someome face TW_MEOW, ALCHILLEUSPRO, and BILL_COLLECTOR - pay attention to them as they are using cheats - never miss and all shots are headshots with AKM 50+meters. Our team have reported them several times already

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam
add an "equip to other/all" button for clothing that puts that specific clothing onto other/all classes/loadouts immediately. bonus points if a "copy outfit to other/all" button is also added that copies an entire selection of clothing and puts it onto another or all classes at once.
LH1 is still broken AF due to the low recoil and negligible damage drop off.

Revamp the in game events!!! After experiencing each event more than once, they get stale and boring. Sometimes the entire event will take place and I won't even notice it.
If you're going to implement in game events, you might as well make them more impactful on the match. The only events that really make any sort of difference are low gravity (for obvious reasons) and orbital lasers, since it can alert enemies to your location and forces you to stay moving. But even these are mostly annoying to deal with.
I think the events need a total rework to make every match unique and chaotic, instead of just adding another bland one like retro invasion.

How to fix cashout problems.
Make cashout 3v3. The same amount of teams in a match. Just each round is 3v3. 30k to win or the once with the most cash. Add more time to a match. This will fix the main issue of 3rd parties.
Please change the flamethrower: +1 Dmg for flamethrower hits -1 dmg for Fire DoT.
Also please fix hit detection on sword lunges + dash. So many hits are not being registered when lights lunge-dash...

A lot of the top 500 players in TA ranked especially are known cheaters, mostly âsoftâ and almost undetectable cheats like Chronus Zen / Xim, but secretly theyâre out there in large numbers. Also played with someone thatâs in a group chat with a lot of those players, and they even openly admit it to each other. Power Shift is broken by default. Cramped obj with minimal cover thatâs beneath infinite sightlines that extend into the hundreds of metres.

Playing TA Ranked is unbearable with snipers, I'm using snipers in regular modes is fine but in TA hell no! Pretty much it is hard to push site even to defend sometimes because of the maps way to open for snipers. So when you try to psuh snipers hit you pretty much immediately

I dont main light but if you canât beam down a squishy 150hp player with your 250/350hp advantage, youâre the trash bud. Lights are not OP whatsoever, theyâre just annoying. The only way to lose to a light is if they catch you off guard, and it is still a skill issue since you donât stick with your teammates and/or react quick enough.

Light was always strong individually, it just struggled in the confined, objective-focused areas of Cashout - especially against coordinated teams - because it has zero survivability. It still struggles in this setting.
Light has dominated Power Shift since it released and now Terminal Attack because they allow far greater use for mobility and range, among other things.

Can you start banning the people that queue with hackers or revert their points, and refund the points lost to hackers. Compleatly pointless to pay when the negative points are from unramked embark names. And i still go negative in score as that is -1600 and a win is +400-500.
if everyone is op, no one will be, that would theoretically keep it fair

it ends up creating a toxic meta where everyone is out to screw each other over
it also creates a ton of collateral damage to those that can't/don't want to participate in it and just have to exist next to it
it makes existing in the game uneasy and reduces the fun
example:
i run melee with winch claw
after i got a few fairly undeserved kills on a light, they swap to stun gun
now every time i try to engage them i get stunned, get stuck and just die
both of us are frustrated
they are incentivised to ruin my fun, so that they get to play at all
it just creates a giant back and forth of annoying each other, which is not good for the health of the game

Why am I constantly being punished by cheaters in this game. I lose a minimum 1000RP every game i play against them because they are all smurf accounts, and when I report them and they get banned I still dont get my RP back????
The healing beam needs to be brought back to TA. Lights are too strong with cloak and their weapons. The beam would encourage more team play.
TY for removing the requirement for new players to complete 3 games of TA before being able to try the actual game modes the finals is known about.
Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.
Now the bad.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam), bow with no falloff, and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.
In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.

That glitch where the animation of pulling out your weapon after trying to zip line or jump pad interrupts other actions. I canât quickly place a zip and the grab the vault so I can run, the animation has to finish before I can grab it. Similar issues occur when placing barricades. In this instance you actually canât place the barricade until youâve finished pulling out the iPad but there will be a placement indicator showing you CAN place it. Very annoying UI
The In Game Feedback Survey needs to have something like "we were down a player and it sucked" or something like this. No one enjoys when someone dips out, leaving your team underhanded and you should have this as an option in the In Game Feedback Survey.
I know Iâm probably the only person who uses the data reshaper.
I like that now we have two charges, but itâs causing me a lot of trouble. For quick actions like swapping a live grenade, or dropping down onto a turret from above, I always spam the reshaper.
But with the two charges, what ends up happening is a swap the enemy equipment and then since Iâm spamming the button, I instantly swap whatever I just swapped and waste my second charge.
I wish there was some sort of cooldown on reshaping, or the game had a hidden cooldown on reshaping something so that didnât happen.
Embark, please get rid of some of the trees on that Kyoto hill that commonly has a cashout. I can't see anything. I can't get 20/20 vision even with glasses. It's the only place on Kyoto that I dread. Of course I want it to look lush but at least 25% gone would be nice

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

I'm honestly surprised people see the guardian turret as too strong.
The setup time makes it a weak offensive tool. It's also very easy to destroy before it's fully deployed. It doesn't deal a tremendous amount of damage, assuming you don't stand still in its LOS like a traffic cone. It can't quickly rotate 180°, so it's guaranteed to die without a fight if it gets attacked from behind. And pretty much anything kills it quickly once it's spotted.
The cooldown nerf actually made it even worse now. It's the weakest spec to choose for Medium right now.
Tournament mode needs to have a minimum player level, at least 15 or 20. I keep getting lower level players here and kinda annoying...
ok, here's the issue. On paper, these seasons and their content sound like absoulute bangers (for the most part). New beautiful map, 3 new guns, new gadgets, a new specialization. problem is, none of it fucking matters really. S2 weapons only really started having a purpose this season, with KS and FAMAS being good in TA. 93R still sucks, your spear sucks, your dual blades suck, your bow sucks, the thermal bore is pretty good I suppose, but there's not really anything here to shake up this meta. there are no gamechangers, no things to shift balances of power. we're so stagnant and it got boring. top that off with not addressing any of the major balancing issues of last season like RPG and instead... buffing LH1, making it too good, and having to backpeddle? maybe you could count ranked TA as them adressing balance issues because there is no defib or healing beam to be seen but that's a pretty shitty way to fix the issue

idea: so instead of waiting for the season to end for ranked skins why don't you just get them instantly (excluding ruby ofc) but if you rank down to plat after getting diamond you still get the diamond skin so there is no way to not get it if you have reached that rank so why shouldn't i just get it? i just find it annoying to grind to diamond early and get no reward for it, instead having to wait 3 months for a skin i grinded ages ago.
I don't understand how the world tour point system works at all. I haven't played much this season relative to last but I think I've played a couple matches, mostly losses, some wins, without my "Win Points" changing. Aside from that I feel like the skill levels in my matches are a bit out of tune. I was D3 last season w/ a lot of casual hours too but I think I am matched with new players. I do think that splitting it away from being the ultra competitive ranked mode was an interesting move. I liked grinding to Diamond last season but I think I prefer a more casual mode

believe me i hate rage quitters as much as you do. i had one match recently where one teammate rage quit after we wiped with ~1m30s left. the remaining 2 of us got a cashout steal and advanced, only to be short a player and lose the finals solely because that idiot rage quit.
that said, it's not really a reportable offense. they already get punished with the inability to queue into a new match for a while. should the punishment be steeper? i would agree with that. even better, team them up with other players that have a history of abandoning matches until their "abandon rate" lowers.
on another note, when you do "abandon" a match, if the entirety of your team were friends of yours in a party, you should be given much more time to rejoin. the ~3 or so minute it currently is is often not enough to rejoin after a crash, brief internet or power outage, etc. and then your friends are left totally screwed without a third teammate. there's no reason to bar you from rejoining when the rest of the team is still in the game waiting for you to rejoin

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Terminal Attacked Ranked is genuinely awful and not fun to play. The old ranked mode was genuinely a lot more fun and Iâve had like all the ranked matches have two of my team mates leave the game cause weâre losing. Leaving it with a 3 v 5. Forcing a game mode onto a player base when the mode was not originally there without an alternative is generally a terrible decision. I understand the devs were trying something new but please please for the love of Nama-Tama. Bring back old ranked.

to demonstrate that TA ranked is a failure, we all need to collectively just not play it. at all. show them record low participation in the mode and it will be removed. play cashout via world tour almost exclusively and we'll see the action we all want.
TA is trash. kill it. It's not unique in any way. It turns what was a really unique, interesting, chaotic game (meaning The Finals, and its original trademark 3v3v3v3 cashout mode) into a stale, generic Counter Strike clone

Recoil patterns should not be hard and they are not a good balance angle. There are plenty of ways to outplay an opponent, recoil does not need to be tacked on top of everything else.
I got Kyoto 3 times in a row, off of rematching after the match was done in TA Ranked. That seems a bit much and Kyoto isnt the greatest for TA currently. Might possibly be tied to one of the matches being cancelled due to people leaving.

No it isn't I played more than 400h between march and the start of season 3 and ended up plat 2. So I kinda know what I'm talking about : there's less ranks, the more you play, the more you grind, no matter if you are diamond or an iron. You can't get demoted. So there's no question of skill or whatever. Think a little bit, you degen, instead of insulting people. This is no freaking ranked. I hope for the cashout ranked to be back and that's all. TA and WT are not enjoyable to me, it's not what the game originally was, so I'm back to play CS2 since the game has no more originality.

For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:

Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".

This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.

Could we get an inbox for game invites? I have met many people through the game, adding them is super easy and works well. However when trying to play with them is a different story because right now you have to be at your computer and in the menu when they send it in order to know they even sent an invite. With an inbox you could see an invite you got if you were in a game. I think this would help a lot for people to expand their groups and play with people they meet in game.
Leaver penalties are already harsh enough imo. It's 10mins the first time, 30 the next, then an hour for the third. It's hard to make harsher ones considering how frequent game crashes are. I have a friend who regularly gets 1 hour long bans because the finals bricks their pc and they lose the reconnect option

The reason why nobody plays this game are the weapons. Change my mind.
My game rarely crashes (I think I got a regular crash just once), however, it takes a very long time for the game to launch on my computer, therefore, I couldn't reconnect and got 10 min penalty. Here in Brazil, a good PC is very expensive. Devs should think of optimization strategies instead of trying to make everything look as shiny as possible. Remember that people still play decades old games with shitty graphics because the gameplay is fun. By the way, I don't think anyone from Embark reads this chat. If I'm wrong: it would be nice to have some responses from time to time
The CL-40 is one of the weakest medium weapons likely even as bad as the riot shield now after the nerfs. It's just not fun to play anymore. Embark, please unnerf the CL-40

How is the matchmaking still so bad? Gold 4 me getting matched in bronze and unranked lobbies.... Its frustrating to get deranked 3 consecutive matches. And Kyoto is just beautiful on the outside but its a garbage map with tons of collisions. Dont mention such low visibility for lights in the grass and stuff... Need better matchmaking overall. Also, Remove TA Ranked please for the love of god.

I think the newest weapons should feel that way too: Competitive and fun.
I want all three new weapons for the next season to be New, fun, and competitive.
Overpowered for the first couple weeks and then rebalanced over the course of the next couple weeks.
Because, why would you hype the drop of new weapons in a competitive game if it was discouraged to use them.
The bow is fun, but why not use the XP-54 (which has always been in the game since season 1)
Dual Katanas are cool, but why not use the AKM or FCAR (which has been in the game since season 1)

I agree on this one, most casual players don't take or have the time to learn recoil correction for each gun. Heck, even experienced players struggle with these changes.

Embark made the choice to not have too many weapons, and not add any weapon attachments/scopes. I think they went with the right approach. Even with 15 weapons of each type available, you'd still mostly see the same ones, because players always quickly find out which are slightly better than the others. So it makes little difference in the end. Having fewer options actually makes balancing easier. The absence of attachments/scopes has the same benefit.
It's actually very hard to add new weapons that have their own signature/add something to the game while being in line with everything else in order to not break balance.
We can see it very clearly with the FCAR getting aligned with the AKM, because it was just a much better gun if you had decent aim. The downside is that it lost a lot of its taste now...

That would be a terrible idea, dash lights and invis lights would never do anything else and it would remove any sense of fun if you can be instantly killed. The dagger requires some level of skill/luck to hit the backstab and I think that's as far as an instant kill from behind should go

I disagree. Making new weapons temporarily OP is a bad strategy. You lure people into playing/enjoying the new stuff, praising the devs for weapons that feel great (of course they do: they're unbalanced af), then you gradually nerf them into something dull, and people end up frustrated. In the meantime, players who've spent hours mastering the older weapons get constantly shit on by those who abuse the newer OP stuff, and they get frustrated too. What's the benefit here ? It's a toxic way of promoting new releases. Countless companies have been using the same manipulative behavior to push people towards new P2W content, powercreeping everything that was used before. Of course The Finals is different because weapons are not locked behind a paywall, but the thought process is wrong IMO.
If you design good weapons that fit right in the game, players will naturally use them.
And we also gotta admit that some weapons will always see less use, and that's ok. The dagger is very niche for instance, but there seems to be a small group of hardcore fans/users.

- let solos be placed into ongoing matches with drastically reduced RS losses if their team loses. If no fill, then reduce the RS loses for the remaining team and punish the player that abandoned with huge RS impact. players that leave games constantly should be effectively blocked from getting out of bronze
- Shorten ranked TA to best of 7 or something, 13 is too long.
Medium melee swords are dogshit useless the instant another enemy appears. Weapons needs some sort of boost so that you can at least block more effectively. Idea: If one enemy shoots at you and you deflect their bullets back at them, ALL the incoming bullets get blocked
Damage also needs to be buffed. Healing beam outheals constant damage dealt

Thanks again for making ranked into the worst, most boring gamemode that's ever been created. There's a reason I'm playing the Finals and not Rainbow Call of Six: Valorant Offensive. I'm all for constructive criticism, but at this point I'm so fed up with TA that I don't even feel like playing the game anymore. I love to grind a bit to get to Diamond for the skins, but with TA I honestly can't be bothered. I'll say it as well: Ranked TA has to go ASAP. I used to play daily with 3 people but since the change to TA ranked 2 of them have already bascially quit the game altogether. I'm trying to make the most of it since I love the game but you're making it difficult for me to keep playing. World tour simply isn't the same (at least right now), I can't be bothered to grind the WT badge for a couple an amount of multibucks that'd cost me as much as a liter of fuel.
Reasons TA sucks:
- The wait time between matches (especially as an attacker)
- The wait time in case you happen to die
- The wait time while switching between attackers and defenders
- The wait time until the round is over if 1 enemy or teammate is left on your team
- The wait time to find a match (I'm still unranked btw)
- The amount of time it takes to finally get a rank
- Leaving players only for the timer of doom to start again
You get the idea?
I have a full time job and I want to jump into the action when I'm home, not wait around for 30 minutes with a grand total of 10 minutes of action. Also, I've wrestled myself through about 4 hours of TA and I still don't have a rank.
Cashout used to be absolutely perfect for that. The entire game is noticeably built around cashout with its recharging equipment, revive mechanics and health system and you decided to throw everything that made it great in the bin to make the game into another search and destroy clone.

Healbeam should NOT restore Energy. Healbeam would be more healthy if it would have charges. Like a battery that's depleting and once its empty, the cooldown start. The amount of healbeam witch circles is just ridiculous and no fun to play against or even on the same team. Idk, its just not fair if u have two mediums circle jerking around a heavy and denieing all the work a light did for example.

im so tired of going 6-7 like why does gaining 400 vs losing 1200 hinge on what is usually a 1v1 at the very end of a very evenly matched drawn out battle... performance should be rewarded way more than victory, because unlike cashout, half the players are always punished. cashout it was just 2 teams out of the 16/8 that actually got punished

If your gonna force me to play terminal attack then letâs make some improvements, rounds need shorter timers and maps need to be made less big, most maps arenât made for it so sectioning of certain place on the map and having 4 set bombsites would better help players with this game mode, some weapons are very imbalanced for this mode(high burst weapons that remove the health you canât regen are very oppressive combine this with the fact that not all weapons kill fast makes the game very frustrating at timeâs either a banning system or limiting how many per team, Iâd love to see a potential variant where headshot dmg is greatly increased and body shot dmg is reduced to see how well the game would play. First to 7 either needs to be reduced or the rounds you switch need to be earlier (4th round you switch sides) makes snowballing less likely to happen.
I donât think TA belongs in ranked but if itâs gonna stay it needs some changes fast otherwise players will avoid this playlist like a plague

Iâve had an infinite loading screen 4 times now in 6 matches. I can hear whatâs going on in game but it keeps loading. How is this normal, fix your game this is sad.

was going throug finals reddit and saw this guys video upploaded there. turns out you can use zipline on the bamboos in kyoto and with accuracy, go to the top. then snipe all u want. tried it myself. kyoto is an awesome change, but rn its feeling like a cluttered mess of bugs and lags

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM: give medium some love and remove sniper and bow from powershift, quick cash should be 1 of each class this would help u balance as u could get alot of data, create an insensitive to play the game that doesnt feel like a bandage. Be direct with the route you want this game to go, is a competitive game or a casual on. This game suffers an identity crisis, focus on destruction and map design, allow more customisation with stickers or create rare ones for people to collect, remove visual recoil its only a hinderance, rpg and slam should be more destructive oriented rather than used to kill someone, i dont think abilities in this game should be used to kill only to help/aid. Make drastic changes to weapons, u can tweak them very quickly be spontaneous and shake up the meta. I love this game so i have hope for the future. Dont hate on my msg too much, just trying to give a players insight

There are so many concepts for a better spear second attack. It could be a charge and slam run but the heavy spins the spear around while running, it could be a throw that could pin when it comes into contact with a wall like Orisa from overwatch, it could be a quick 3 jab attack or something similar to that, and it can also just be a lunge allowing for more range and less running, it could even pin if you lunge at someone and land them into a wall.
Iâve eliminated 6 opponents with quick melee but still the challenger circuit wonât ping. Itâs broke
Match making for Solo Q is bizarre recently. Constantly with two Lights in WT and casual Cash Out I'll be matched with brand new players. I'm having to resort to poking at fights between the other teams as my teammates are always dead. Wasn't like this at the start of the season but it's all I'm getting in games now. Not sure if it's the same story for other solo players. Also, considering Light's buffs recently, give FCAR it's original settings again. It's a sorry state of gun atm. đ
Thermal Vision currently is still bugged and is not letting you ADS while using it with some weapons because your entire character model is bright white, including your lens.
In addition, mines literally emit light which is heat, but they are completely invisible during thermal.
I would like to see these fixed please, it makes it very frustrating to use thermal with some weapons for no real reason :c
make the heavy GL like the medium GL, its annoying to have to do trick shot to hit people when they close in on you...

So this was a random idea but as a test thing could we have hybrid builds one day? For example light-medium and medium-heavy. Light/Med would have 200 HP and the ability to use medium abilities with light weapons or vise versa. Medium heavy would get 300 hp and the ability to use heavy abilities and medium weapons or vise versa. Just curious what people would come up with

please rework cloak to have low activation cost but run out faster the longer cloak is active. this way you aren't punished for activating your cloak and instead punish cloak users for staying invis too long and camping with it. it would also differentiate cloak and vanish bomb more (cloak for using invis in quick short bursts during fights, and vanish bomb for safely getting away when low or to sneak up on players) being able to toggle invis on and off is what makes cloak good, using up a 3rd of the ability to activate cloak sucks. as it is rn, it feels just like vanish bomb but in your specialization slot

Matchmaking and ELO is FUBARed because the player pool for ranked TA is too small. Losses are too penalizing and wins aren't worth enough, the ranked pool is compressing around Silver/Gold. You can tell by how small Diamond is; Diamond is currently harder to get than Ruby. I know you can't fix the player pool size, but rating gain/loss needs a look

Why do I have SUPER neck and neck games where Iâm always the lead score wise and Iâm always my teams crutch, just to barely lose and get pushed down in rank.

The heavy throw for the throwing knife needs to have a faster throw rate. Otherwise get rid of it because it's better just to do a normal throw because of the throwing rate and the damage are so much better compared to taking one throw that doesn't even kill them. Devs need to adjust how the spear affects the powershift boat because you can speed up the progress by spamming the big hit of the spear in the direction you're heading. You can go from 0-50% in about 1/3rd of the normal time required when uninterrupted.

Day 98 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, youâre probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Ngl ranked is unplayable. I pass the first filter since I like TA, but then my first three attempts at a game ended due to someone leaving. Finally got a game on my fourth attempt but when the arena was being rebuilt I didn't load in. Fifth game I never loaded in the first place. Probably why there were so many empty spots causing the game to end

Nope, but I did spent a game in a room full of cheaters and two of them were on my team. EMBARK are you aware of people using some type of cheats that mimic the effect of the tracking dart and it is an infinite ping? Also, the amount of aimbot user is increasing alarming

Currently we have two kinds of 5v5 modes. One life, No healing or revives(TA) and unlimited lives but a respawn timer(power shift). Both modes have a âwaiting periodâ for players who die alot. I believe having an instant respawn mode allows new players to pick up the game faster while still being fun for all players, who doesnât love a mode that they can average 30 kills in? I donât think it should be as lazy as a TDM mode. Having an objective is important thats the core of the finals.
-In world tour allow players to swap into their reserves when they die similar to quick cash
-Add a 2nd charge to grappling hook
-Instead of ranked being just TA i think it should be a combination of 3 different 5v5 game modes. TA, Power shift, and an instant respawn mode. This would bring variety to ranked and keep it competitive yet fresh each game. Cod ranked currently does something similar to this and i think it works really well. I love TA but I donât play the finals to be locked into another bomb mode. Make it so when we queue ranked the game would throw us into one of the 3 modes I mentioned at random.
I donât think making TA the ranked mode for this season was a terrible move, taking risk like that is what is going to push the finals to the top. TA is definitely not the staple ranked mode for this game but i definitely believe ranked should be 5v5. âđź

So to get to the BIOS you need to power down and power back on your computer and while it it turning on you need to press one of the function keys it differs from pc to pc. Once you are in the BIOS there is a few menus and one of them should be called boot manager. Click that and then there is normally a area that is for the boot manager. The boot manager should be set to the one that has windows in it's name.

ive also had a bug where i try pinging something and instead the ping goes like 200 feet away in the opposite direction and under the map (not an exaggeration)

Kyoto map needs some optimization, the game lags a lot especially in certain places like the bamboo park area, and also you can steal cashouts through the paper grids of the sliding doors.
There's also a mysterious floating platform that persists at the top of the super jump pad tower after the tower is destroyed in Kyoto(i think only in Power Shift), snipers abused the hell out of that but it only happened in one game

a friend of mine is not getting contract progress on "eliminate or assist 6 people with quick melee"
i got this most of the times, for me is not just at the start some times is when you go from atk to def, when the map is res for TA, and for WT when a new round start, try to ask people to kill you in first round in TA to buy you time to res the game without you getting a ban, and for WT let your team know you got bugged. This is what i manage to learn for me so that i don t get another ban for this bug. I hope it helps.

Improvement to cashout: make all teams replenish health, gadgets/specs cooldowns, and revive teammates on successful team wipe.
By doing this, it is possible to keep cashout without drastic change to combat 3rd partying meta. Since the winning/defending team now has even playing field to fight the 3rd party.
It also opens up new strat for the attacker team to keep 1 member alive away from the team fight to possibly deny the refreshment with the tradeoff with less firepower/support in team fight.

You can play on console only, and have an evening of great, fair matches.
Turn crossplay on for PC, and suddenly everyone knows exactly where you are. No matter how obscure the spot. They go there first, and jump the corner while prefiring.
Nobody misses. And TTKs are double what they are on console, so I imagine most shots are headshots.

When you play world tour and you are only the shadow of a lobby wiper team, the last match mostly painful and feels unfair, its a waste of time really, I would rather play 3-4 tournament rounds than a 1v1 against the best team! (Of course, talking solo-wise!) I get it that IT'S THE FINALS, if you really want to keep the last 1v1 then, make it 1 cashout only, would be faster, could save 20minutes of my life, especially when the third teammate leaves to not waste his own time...
Bring back healing beam and health regen in TA.. L with invis are hanging around every corner. NOT FUN

Things that feel underpowered:
General
Gas - Should raise faster in damage or remember old ticks ( 2 seconds ago maybe ). People ignore the gas for the first hits and just run straight in and out of it.
Light
Grappling Hook - could use lower cd or 2nd charge
93R - at the moment totally off the grid
Breach Charge - With Thermal Bore released, Breach Charge has fully lost its way. Dont know how to fix.
Thermal Vision - It does not have that many uses, I would even think about making it a on/off switch with no duration or cooldown
Tracking Dart - Maybe give it a dmg boost for teammates only (no solo plays here) that attack the marked target?
Medium
APS Turret - Games have become quite spam-heavy regarding grenades and such. I would lower the health drain to let it take 2 more hits. 3->5
At the moment APS has been kicked out totally because it literally can just block one person for around 3 to 5 seconds.
Heavy
Goo Gun - Give it an alternate fire mode of some kind. May it be shooting a block or a line or maybe even
hurl a ball of goo at full munition cost and cooldown at an enemy ( Doing Knockback and Structural Damage )
Flamethrower - Literally loses at range and now loses in "melee" range too.
Staying in the hotzone right in front of it should be punished more.
Raise the direct damage by 1 or 2 or raise the tick rate? Damage Over Time is fine.
=> Has general hit-reg issues with fast moving enemies.
Spear - Fix the Spinning attack please. It is unusable as an AoE weapon if the spinning attack does not hit anything.
Anti-Gravity Cube - Should have more variety or flexibility. Sticking it sideways to a wall to push someone away for example.
Give it different modes maybe for more playstyle?
Long-narrow beam (movement), short-big beam (control => no easy walking in area), normal mode
C4 - Since all the nerfs because of nuke-plays it lost all meaning. Give it some love. Knockback, more charges?
Things that feel slightly overpowered:
Light
Evasive Dash - It has so many issues with server tick rate and hit-reg... I do not even know where to start..
Dagger - Hit angle for backstab needs a bit of a narrowing, fairly easy to hit with dash and circling
SR-84 & Bow - Reduce the headshot multiplier a bit and give it a bit of a boost in rate of fire in exchange.
Higher Skill ceiling hurts a lot and lower skill ceiling needs to shoot more often to even hit.
Sword - Needs just hitreg fixes when shooting at a lunging light.
Medium
Healing Beam - Make just one heal beam work on a person. Double heal-beam is ridiculous.
Healing rate is in general a tad too high. Gas should outtick a heal beam in damage.
Defibrilator - Open field revives should be punished more. Maybe 5 hits into the hologram cancel the revive process and make it break?
Heavy
Charge 'N' Slam - Multiple Hits + Slam always end in a kill. The damage is far too high on it.
Winch Claw - Give it a bit more time to block it with a wall or something.
At the moment it hits and nearly immediately pulls ( even through walls... )
Sledgehammer - Range on Heavy Attack is just a tiny bit too big.
RPG - Damage needs a slight nerf. Give it more structural damage power or a knockback effect.
Dome Shield - Let Dome Shields block each other. Double or Triple Dome shielding on the same spot is frustrating.
Give it alternative modes maybe. Box/Ball/Pillar..
There should be HARSHER Leaving penatlies to all modes except quick cash.

Things like that, A LOT of us would love more indepth statistics pages because the one we have right now is VERY lack luster.
70k xp omfg that's scary. Who decided to put it like that, 12k was alr damn hard but fair last season. Imagine 70k x 10 left, I would accept if its 30k-50k but the extra 20k is overkill for your casual BP holder. I'm barely on during my workday's and just got luckily went for a 1 week vacation and can grind this sht after that it's hell to do from there. I can't skip levels from here either by paying them.

Rework or remove from game throwing knives, or just remove headshot multiplier for this weapon
Embark im gonna crashout , remove unlimited ammo from throwing knives or give them a reload / cooldown like gadgets have . Dual blades should have a health bar for how much they can block . Either make the melee weapons balanced by nerfing them significantly or remove them entirely

This gives me an idea for a TA style cashout. 5v5 attacking and defending. Part of TA's biggest flaw is that its a copy and paste game mode that has nothing to do with the finals. Making it money based would keep the finals identity with the game mode's competitive style. It could be played with typical vaults or with 2 cashouts already counting down when the round starts, either way the cashouts would be tied to one team until a round swap. A teams successful defense earns them money but if the opposing team deactivates a cashout, the defenders can no longer get it back. With vaults at play (there would be 2 per round) this gives defenders the option to split the defense or risk all the money on one big defense.
Balancing/Variable options to consider
**Allow respawns** and revives to give both teams an equal success chance and removing the deathmatch to give players incentive to focus the objective.
disabling respawns hinders the games fun factor and incentivizes players to only go for kills
**Vaults**: start in your hand like a decrypt key, may or may not increase in value every round. Might encourage players to stack every round which is why the alternative is to have 2 cashouts countdown simultaneously after a prep phase
**Stealing**: can either disable the cashout entirely or transfer to the attacking team instantly. Either way the defenders wont be able to recover it once disabled/stolen
**Round swaps**: Teams can switch positions every 3 rounds or after a certain amount of money has been acquired. This will have a direct impact on whether vaults increase in value or not.
**Timers**: the standard 130 seconds is more than enough to keep it competitive and keep the rounds short preventing long drawn out matches. But if its not, disabling a cashout can extend the remaining cashout's timer by 30s at minimum
But if this is all too much work, bring back ranked tournaments.

Not really a complaint about gameplay but can we get more build slots in the future I hate the fact that I have to sacrifice my gadget slots in order to make extra builds because I like using a variety of weapons

Low Gravity event Fix Suggestion

- so whats bad about low grav? as a movement player i find low grav very annoying, yeah sure it make hard jump easier and impossible jump now possible but in combat it make jumping a death wish as it make you a very easy target when falling.
(i have so many clip of me beaming people who use jump pad in low grav)
Suggestion:
- Remove it (boring)
- Do nothing (lame)
- Let me control how fast i fall by pressing the crouch button so jumping is now viable, and it make fight more interesting thx to more option of outplaying enemy gamer (pls?)

plz add Kusarigama to lights as it has both chain and blade so can u go for charged attacks for longer range chain blade attack and close range attacks,extremely versatile weapons.
Add chainsaw to heavy class for a short charge forward attack and heavy swing like hammer,imagine the destruction
Add a automatic crossbow(look at the weapon in farcry4)for medium or heavy that sticks to walls and u can climb on it,it give a new range for vertical travel

MAN, I like ranked TA as a mode but I hate that it's dominated by invis L's... I'm not saying nerf invis... but bring back health regen and the healing beam to bring back teamwork. rn it's dominated by every man for yourself L's. I can't play solo queue H because I mostly get stuck with Ls who don't wanna play as a team.

Currently we have two kinds of 5v5 modes. One life, No healing or revives(TA) and unlimited lives but a respawn timer(power shift). Both modes have a âwaiting periodâ for players who die alot. I believe having an instant respawn mode allows new players to pick up the game faster while still being fun for all players, who doesnât love a mode that they can average 30 kills in? I donât think it should be as lazy as a TDM mode. Having an objective is important that's the core of the finals.
-In world tour allow players to swap into their reserves when they die similar to quick cash
-Add a 2nd charge to grappling hook
-Instead of ranked being just TA i think it should be a combination of 3 different 5v5 game modes. TA, Power shift, and an instant respawn mode. This would bring variety to ranked and keep it competitive yet fresh each game. Cod ranked currently does something similar to this and I think it works really well. I love TA but I donât play the finals to be locked into another bomb mode. Make it so when we queue ranked the game would throw us into one of the 3 modes I mentioned at random.
I donât think making TA the ranked mode for this season was a terrible move, taking risk like that is what is going to push the finals to the top. TA is definitely not the staple ranked mode for this game but I definitely believe ranked should be 5v5. Lmk what you guys think.

something about lights is really off. I can't quite put my hand on what, but after playing for a while, anyone could notice the effects. The matches are full of lights going solo. I'm seeing a lot less gadgets being tossed around, much less variety in those few gadgets and a glaring lack of teamwork.

LOVE this game keep it up devs! No developers are willing to take the risk of making a creative unique game especially in the shooter genre that is so over saturated. Ive been waiting for a game like the finals to come out. A fun game that plays with the idea of being a GAME and not take itself too seriously trying to emulate real life. Your guy's are really good at updating and listening to feedback. I wish this game was as popular as it deserves to be
