When a developer who DOES NOT PLAY ON CONSOLE AT ALL goes out of their way to set in stone how people can play and what they may personalise and make comfortable from another platform than themselves you have something akin to a one of a kind "inexplicable overstep by serving a diffuse and unknown agenda".
So a half-assed KBM has been usable from day one, except with the tiny caveat that you can't bind shit, you can't see the mouse pointer, you can't adjust mouse in any way. If you manage to find what keys are bound then, however uncomfortably it may be, you can play using KBM.
Then a year later they remove KBM because it's implementation was deemed a bug. So now, ONLY controller.
They also want consoles to cross platform pvp. This can only be a personal vendetta to piss on consoles...nothing positive business wise to do something like this or to neglect several lplatforms and fairness.
While these have FULL Native KBM Support: Warframe, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Halo Infinite, MS Flight Simulator, Smite, Paladins, State of Decay, Sea of Thieves, Quake, Quake II, Spellbreak, Insurgency, War Thunder, Vermintide 2, Darktide, Overwatch, Deep Rock Galactic, Ark Survival, Space Engineers, Splitgate, Grounded, Shotgun Farmer, Final Fantasy XIV, Phantasy Star Online 2, Sniper Elite 5, Zombie Army 4, Killing Floor 2, Back 4 Blood..f.and so on.
This SHOULD at least warrant an explanation and motivation why they won't let consoles use KBM while at the same time being force to meet players who use KBM on a platform that has all the hardware, all the inputs, all the options, all the settings and all the care.
