Got questions regarding finals running on GeForce now
I'm able to run it and play but I'm having bad performance, idling around 25-60 frames on very low settings with debris and projectiles on the map

in general the buildings are too fragile in the new map, they seemingly decay on their own and small destruction eventually chain reacts to destroy whole chunks of buildings for no reason

I think I got why server error is happens, it's because of weapon/gadget skins/charms/animations.
It doesn't occur with 8 basic contestants (I deleted them all, accidentally catching a bug)
Setting skin individually doesn't gives errors, but through equipment menu does. But it's better not to take risks and play without skins/charms/animations.
Changing contestants or adding 7/8 contestant doesn't give errors

Update on TFGE0000 - TFGE0003: I have played 6 matches and I haven't gotten error coded. Only thing I've done is delete my 8th character slot and not put anything in it. There may have been something wrong with the character's customization but I couldn't find it.
My recommendation is to remake each of your presets, that solved the problem for me. And if that doesn’t work delete your 8th slot or all of your heavy slots.

Since the start of S4, I've only been able to play one match because of infinite loading screens and TFGE0000. Today I had a shower thought: that for me this makes the game (literally) literally unplayable 😂

Fingers crossed they'll get on top of these problems soon.

Tried for an hour to remedy the TFGE errors once again (Note: I've been trying to tolerate and fix this issue since season 4 began and it became a problem for two friend groups who I play ranked with.), its impossible to say that its a loadout issue when I've tried:

1. Deleted and remade all my loadouts (Everything being customized, no I didn't use the Equipment tab to do it, it was a long and agravating process.) - didn't work.
2. Deleted and used fresh loadouts (Basically not customizing anything) - didn't work.
3. Deleted all game files for a fresh install incase there were corrupted files - didn't work.
4. Verified files on steam - didn't work.
5. Utilized completely different hardware incase it was an issue on my end - didn't work.
6. Checked and verified connections and making sure there was no program or firewall interference - didn't work.

At this point I'm a firm believer errors TFGE0000, TFGE0003, TFGE0008 are not related to loadout issues, and its something internal the devs have to fix. Others as well as I can't play the game anymore until theres some communication going on acknowledging that the issue is being worked on, and that hopefully it will be fixed in an upcoming hotfix or patch. For those that aren't plagued with the issue, glad you are capable of playing, hopefully at some point other players and I as well will be able to get back into playing this, for now I'm forced to just not be capable of playing.

every day can play 1 or 2 matches max rest of the time i am watching loading screens. first match i joint after 10 attempts where 9 time i get connection fail or server connection timeout mostly tfge0000, tfge0003, tfge00020 second time joining match is harder at least 15 attempts. once i am in everything runs fine no lag no frame drop. my internet down speed is around 10mb and around 3-4 up. can't really play tournaments because after first round i get the error and by the time i reconnect again the round finnishes and i get suspension penalty. happened twice first time i got 2 and a half hour second time 4 hours i don't wanna try again. i was wondering how many people have this issue? taking for considaration how often it happens to me i was expecting lot more players to be disconnected when i join a game but i don't see that. and i don't see people complaning much about matchmaking... is this related to me or my region? i tried switching servers and turning off crossplay but no luck the same. at this stage unplayable i hope they fix it on time to so i can complete the contracts.

All day it’s been failing to connect in my ranked games. I have now lost a from silver 1 to bronze 3 in one part. It took 4 hours to just grind back to silver but within that time as a bronze player I had to play against in the same lobby as Lycomit who is diamond and is the atm moment top 2nd ranked. So not only is this matchmaking impossible, but I’m also losing an incredible amount of SR from the servers. It worked for me and I've been playing numerous games now and not getting any "Ran out video memory" when launching either. Might be worth doing and only took me a minute to do. Download, Open, Restart PC and set it 54x instead of 55 or 57 on the performance core ratio.

Edit: Program will be running in the background but idk if I need to have it open or not, for now I'll keep it running just to be sure

When I play world tour or ranked, the game runs smoothly for the most part (when no 10/10 insanity happening during fighting with other teams). When I start to play powershift, after few minutes the game crashes with unreal engine error. This might be due to a lot of destructions happening, but this was not a problem during previous seasons. Does anyone experienced same issues? Maybe there is a fix? P.S. I always played on epic video settings, so i thought maybe I switch to medium and it will be fixed, but no.

Gotta fix the amount lost for ranked. If my game crashes or I get disconnected in any way not only will I be given a suspension but I will lose 1000+ RS because I disconnected on top of what I lose for losing the game once I do reconnect. I played a lot of games today, won about 4, lost 2 gained an overall profit of around 2000 RS, totaling about 34,000. I then qued into 1 game, my game then crashed, I reconnected with a minute left, we lost in last place, Lost 1,200, and then when i re-checked my RS amount it was about 1,200 even lower. So from 1 game because I disconnected from it, I lost 2,400 RS, I am now sitting lower then I was if I hadn't played at all, simply because of a crash. To say the least its very disheartening to have all my progress from hours and hours of really good playing to be wiped away due to (maybe a bug) or even an intended feature. Its also worth noting that this has happened to me before, just less amount loss (around 1,500 the time before, for the exact same reason) If this is a bug, any way to resolve the issue and get my RS back? If not, why make it this way, its not my fault I got dissconected, so why should I be punished so harshly? Overall, ranked this season Is a lot better of a system. But If stuff like this keeps happening I can't see myself going on the grind for Ruby if I can be set back a whole day by 1 game.

There has been a bug since start of S4 where you sometimes are unable to see the enemy besides just their weapon. This is very game breaking as you practically become invisible when you defuse or dont hold your weapon out.

Hello everyone! I am a player from China, currently studying in Europe.
I'm currently facing a very serious problem that seriously affects my gaming experience. I've tried countless ways to solve it but to no avail. The problem is as follows:
I can log into the game lobby normally, but after I select a mode and successfully match, I will experience lag while waiting in the lobby, or directly skip waiting in the lobby to enter the game (however, after entering the game, I will encounter problems including but not limited to black screen, unable to move, character model errors, and perspective errors)
I'm pretty sure I don't have any network issues (because I tried to play Battlefield V and it worked), nor any hardware issues (I last played the finals yesterday and had no problems). I tried updating my graphics drivers and system, but nothing worked.
I love this game too much to give it up. So if anyone knows what the problem is, please let me know.

Alright, I figured out something of a fix, made it better, I was atleast able to get into a game now.
So basically you open your Game directory, right click Easy-Anti-Cheat, and then properties, then go to security and give full access permissions to everything in the list,
For some reason that did it, maybe EAC didnt have full permissions for something? Not sure but it made it better atleast...

I could be wrong, but when you think about it, it doesn't make much sense that there would be any technical difficulties with handing out the rewards. After all, you've created your own tag system, which contains unique tags for every individual player.

I think the real issue is that the team isn't entirely sure if they actually have a 100% cheater free accurate list. As a matter of fact, i think that they may not be even close to 50%. However,, either way admitting this might seem risky or bad PR, especially after the community backlash due to the already delayed and missed deadline.

Is it possible for someone from the team to explain the technicalities of why locating the top 500 profiles would be so difficult? As it stands, it really doesn't make sense, neither from a common-sense perspective nor a technical standpoint (from someone who understands these systems).

I'm having the same problem here. All you can do for now is follow the instruction on the error message: Create a memory dump and upload it to the listed website. Start a chat/create a ticket, bottom right, after signing in, provide info and upload the memory dump file. That's the best way to get the devs the information they need to fix this.

For those who are experiencing game crashes at startup or during gameplay, I have found a solution: I started looking into the issue because I couldn't install games in the Epic Games launcher. Every time, I would get the error message IS-IN-FC05. According to Epic, you’re supposed to check if your hard drive is okay. I tried everything, from checking the hard drive and RAM to downgrading to Windows 10. Really, I checked everything, including whether The Finals would crash. Until today, when I randomly decided to overclock my CPU just for fun. During the process, I noticed that my CPU was being automatically managed in the BIOS. I have the i7 13700K, but I think others with different CPUs might experience the same issue.

I noticed that when I set the Core Ratio to 50 and saved it—bringing it down from 54—it essentially means it went from 5.4 GHz down to 5 GHz. So, I unintentionally undervolted. Now, I was able to download Off The Grid from Epic, and I can play The Finals without any problems. I don’t know why this would be a reason that the game can now be downloaded in the launcher, but maybe this could be a solution for your problem. It’s worth checking out

Not sure if many people are seeing this bug, but I feel like on PS5, after update 4.2, a lot of the destruction is not visible. Constructs seem to be intact but I fall through the floor or seem like I am getting stuck in the air and cannot place zip lines/jump pads while in this state. After the latest patch my game has gone from simple desktop crash (which is already annoying enough) to crashing my gpu AND deleting my custom gpu config, note that i got the exact same problem in season 3. It is your undervolt that crashed your GPU, not The Finals, it's common with undervolting and overclocking, and it is normal for it to be reset by the driver after you crash. Find a more stable configuration or run stock configuration. (Before you say it only happens in The Finals, it's still the undervolt's fault, not the game, some application's are more sensitive to it you can say, nothing the devs can do about it)

I know, and that makes sense, but he may be harming his little fps by playing fps on low than on high (puts more work on the cpu, and less on GPU) since he might get more fps with high, I myself have an almost similar performing CPU (i5 12400)

And still we've all seen a bit of a increase in cpu requirements, since updated destruction, either way a Ryzen 5 5600 should not have many problems running the game (which he does)

@winter reef As for your second comment, he doesn't have the same issue as you do, what are you even trying to say, you're not getting gpu driver timeouts and crashes. (Which is due to an undervolt and not the game, i am guessing since he has one, should try running on stock) What your experiencing is something different altogether, don't have to try to prove me wrong if you don't know what I am talking about. That's the issue a lot of people are experiencing, I can't say why, probably the devs are having a hard time finding out the causes because with a PC we have so many diverse systems and it is happening on a lot of systems.

Since I personally don't face ANY performance issues, have over a 100 fps, so it is not a universal bug, and I only have a 6700 XT and i5 12400. I doubt the devs are ignoring it, but such bugs are pretty hard to find, isolate and fix. They probably don't have an ETA on the fix at all, that's why they're not communicating ig.

I do not notice any dips in my fps when buildings crumble and near fire, it runs smooth for me almost always, Kyoto in general runs at 10-15 fps less but I don't get any dips in fps that I have noticed (playing on high settings)

Kyoto powershift felt a little laggy once, but it only happened in 1 match and afterwards I didn't face issues with it.

I change the gadgets and guns in the inventory before I start a round with my friends.
When the round is about to start, the game changed it back to what it was before.
Because it's a countdown Im not able to change before game starts.

Also often when im in a round of power shift I change caracter but when im trying to change weapon and gadget it shows the inventory for the medium guy i had before, despite i changed to the light. That makes it impossible to change weapons.

I literally tried all troubleshooting steps for all errors out there (multiple times) and support can't help either as they just tell you that they will take note of it and send you some connectivity issues guides that have the most generic solutions you can think of.

I tried countless of fixes without result. The only thing that seems to work is to force it to use dx11. But that destroys performance and makes it quite hard to play.

I would suggest looking up the normal operating temperatures of your specs then comparing it with what you get from playing the game, then just go from there I suppose.
If they're a little higher than advertised that should be ok.
Other than that, a warm pc is a perfectly normal occurrence. Mine turns my room into a sauna after an hour lol

Nope, I was playing world tour and me and my team came in first, moving onto the next stage, But it kicked me and gave me a match suspension

Hm thats weird. I had a problem same thing happened, showed a suspension but i was able to rejoin there. Still had a 20 min suspension after winning the game

A friend is experiencing a bug where they are unable to see parts of the arena that have been destroyed, and instead see only the undestroyed form. This also applies to debris so he may get stuck on seemingly nothing.

Tried to create a 1v1v1 with me and a couple mates, but two of us kept getting put into one team with the third in another team.

We joined a private lobby with none of us sharing a party. Any1 know y this happening?

Try reinstalling the game, restarting your computer, or changing your settings (I doubt that you haven't tried these steps already). If you have, I would recommend contacting support or doing some research into what these error codes mean
