lol the dual blades are consistently ranked one of the worst weapons in the game, the way you counter them is literally just to run away? Medium has zero mobility, they can't catch you. The deflections only work half the time and there's quite a lot of desync, so if you're strafing to the side when shooting it's very difficult to get hit by the deflections (assuming they even work)
trying to fight a light player as a medium with dual blades is the most frustrating thing in the world right now, because they're impossible to catch and the deflections aren't consistent enough to damage them. Also the fire rate of throwing knives is so fast that it's very difficult to get an attack in between their knife throws, so you basically need to hold deflect the whole time and pray you get lucky with a deflection kill

So is the bow strong or not? In theory it feels like LH1 or sniper is better choice but in practice I'm winning most of my 1v1 vs those weapons. If I have a corner to play I beat LH1 users over half the time. I feel like either increase the projectile velocity or increase the draw speed. One or the other both would be too strong imo
Its more of a sidegrade to sniper if anything, it's alright, but if you can make it work its pretty strong

Jump Pad+ Zip Line + goo can help close the gap. Do you think Demat for flanking or Turret for cover fire would be better?
Depends on ur playstyle, i prefer demat because it pairs well with double mobility meaning you can go literally wherever you want, the goo nades are also good for when you need to disengage. just gotta get creative
I dont use the dual swords much anymore though because they suck in lobbys with 3 stacks of good players but their still fun

I run Tank Flamethrower, RPG, Meshshield, Dome Shield and Landmines, This load out is great for light players you will absolutely melt, you are weak to long range but RPG will make up for a kill or two at long range or at least be able to shift the position of those long range targets, your shields are used to cross long distances. Protect yourself with mesh when being shot at from long range and use your dome as a barrier between you and a flank, to cross close range distance or reviving and protecting teammates, I often try to give domes to those that are in a long range fights or defending cashouts. This is a utility build you rely on mobility which tanks have little of and close quarter fights (indoors) you are a power house when defending your own cashout and have great crowd control! You can also be a bull still charge in on low team fights, clean up for your team really pull some great steals! This load out is still kinda weak to the current knife throwing buff, you can still win those fights, but must watch for people to flank heavy using dashes. Stun guns recent buff also will give this load out some trouble (heavy on keep it close quarter fights) watch for teams to gang up on you to take you down and keep you down! They do not like when flamethrowers progress.

A lot of problems with that, medium has turrets which can cover their back, can survive a sniper headshot, has good mobility with zip and jump pad, and is overall just a better class than light already, donāt remove one of the few things that can make light at least alright
The turret takes too long to turn on the grapple is better than the zip line and the famus mag is still not 30
grapple may be better than zipline for 1 person, the perk of a zipline is that your entire team can use it

Although I will admit the damage dropoff at range kind of sucks. You get outgunned by every scar/lh1/sniper even if you're nailing headshots. I feel like if you can headshot with a revolver at range you should be rewarded with some good damage.

The damage fall off is noticeable for sure. It doesnt really engage well in the long range exhanges.

There have definitely been times when i feel like the ironsights aren't aligned perfectly, I think because you need to aim a little above where you want to hit. I feel like I've just automatically adjusted now though, so I nail most of my shots.
Also don't sleep on hipfire, you can absolutely use this gun like a shotgun when close-range.
I'm probably not a good metric though because I'm always drawn to the weird niche weapons. My main heavy build right now is the MGL32 with motion sensors lol.

TK always could 1-shot lights, even before the buffs. Also that nerf was aimed at light vs mediums, where now it needs 5 knives instead of 4 without headshots. Not to mention that to one-shot a light youd need to land both knives and also land a headshot, which with a lights ability to dodge is rather difficult

Hey, this is my first time commenting in the server. I main heavy and would like to use the SA1216, but as it is now it is terrible. I would like to recommend that the spread be rotated 90 degrees and possibly slightly narrower. I think this could help combat latency and with everyone bunny hopping. (I also think B-hops should be adjusted but I'm more concerned about the shotgun). It would be a small change that wouldn't make it too overpowered. imo. I don't know if any other heavy users feel the same about it.

You should have been around back in beta and S1 when that gun was THE meta. Honestly though, even though the poor 1216 got nerfed a ton (RoF and damage mostly), the spread was never touched. I used to play it a lot, but I havenāt since the nerfs. Before that, the spread never really bothered me. Still, I would back ANY kind of (reasonable) buff to this gun
I was around for season one, but I was playing medium when we still had recon sense. I just feel like I can't hit shit with it and past about 5m it doesn't do enough damage compared to the other shotguns. I suck ass at the game though lol, so it could be entirely just me.

Has Embark release any information regarding the XP gain methods for all weapons and gadgets, because I've figured out through testing that a single goo ball from the Goo Gun give 5 XP or one miss/object grab from the winch gives 30 vs hitting a player giving 43. But I would really like to know if there is a comprehensive list out there?
it could def be like fire damage and the explosion only does 5 dmg rn so that could be a little higher without being crazy, it would just be kinda funny for a team not paying attention to the sound on the other side of the wall and taking a little damage.

i didnt played much heavy this season (mostly medium), but when i played heavy, ive only tried lewis gun and felt instantly different, than i remember (very inaccurate), so im just curious. gonna have to try. i think it depends on ur team too, how u gonna play. most lobbys this season is 80% lights and its getting more and more annoying

I'm still hoping for a day when we would see a good skin for CL-40 in the store. This weapon is no doubt the most ignored weapon when it comes to skins.

the lewis gun is still better than the m60. now the m60 cant compete with most other weapons due to its low damage. if you use the lewis gun also use the mesh shield (or the charge n slam), activate it when the recoil gets too inaccurate (15+ shots) and wait for them to stop shooting or reload, then you can go back to shooting them

Honestly the winch is a great tool to move cashouts around esp. in combination with the anti-g cube. Not the most competitive loadout but it can be seriously confusing for enemy teams when you manage to move up/grab the cashout and steal in a hard to reach spot.
The lunge attack animation for the katana skin on sword should have been different. I don't want it to do a fencing lunge, I want it to do some kind of unsheathe lunge animation instead! Damnit Embark, big opportunity miss!
The same combination can be used to move the cashout in a seriously bad spot for attackers, i.e. in the middle of water on Kyoto.

I personally love it just the way it is, it provides the biggest learning curve and rewarding players who put in the work
It could use some tweaks. One of which reverting the multihit change, shit was such a fantastic QoL for dagger to counter bodyblocking on cashouts.
Then get a charge-able backstab like the open beta and I think the weapon is standing on solid ground.

Rpg can be aim and shot, and doesnt have activation time. Mines need to be placed, activated, then they can also be avoiding by seeing them, unlike rpg where by the time you saw it its probably too late (especially for cloak lights and all mediums)
Rpg is also on a class that besides having that as a gadget, also gets specialities like charge and slam which does an instant 130 damage if youre nearby. A heavy with rpg and literally any source of damage in a very small quantity one shots a light. A heaby with rpg and charge and slam can kill a medium without even using a weapon. Thats the problem

The game already has both and I feel like that change could make a good impact on the game bcuz as of right now snipers are playing a point and click adventure game

if you wish to go that route, there are many weapons on the light class that can one shot the light, but on the heavy there is none except for the sledge secondary which is so televised that it might as well not count and is a melee

Unlike glitch grenades, it doesn't deactivate gadgets that have already been put down. This also applies to mines, other traps, and dome shields.

Im recently whooping light asses with the FAMAS. Glitch Trap is helpful too as they cannot use their dash when trapped. Gasmine works like a critter killer, they always run away when i deploy them. 
After the recent nadelauncher nerf its probably better to go with smth else imo.

this is a valid point but you are forgetting that you can explode the mines instantly aswell with quickmelee

New weapon idea for M: Stake gun. Fires very sharp pointy wooden stakes like a crossbow. Longer range projectile will set the stake on fire (with drop off) dealing more damage if hit. Only 1 stake per shot ( Like bow ).

It is a nuisance that doesn't seem ultimately necessary, it removes aiming (albeit the whole gunplay of the game doesn't focus on it too much unless you use snipers/precision) but still. I don't see the ultimate purpose for it, seems like a redundant tool to just say "Hey look at me, I can't secure a kill without this crutch"
Wait you can aim even when stunned? Odd. Usually it doesn't work when I attempt to aim, but I haven't experienced too many stuns, although there has been enough to hear the distaste for it.

It's not useless, it's just slow, and slow firing pistols aren't all innately terrible. Aim for the head, and sneak up on them.
It's a suppressed pistol, not a fully automatic, you can coarse yourself around it to make a different playstyle

its hard to tell because every teammate thats every ran the m11 on my team likes to stand and stare at enemies after rushing into a room by themselves full of people (i hate m11 users)
Depends on the gamemode and what your spec is. Assuming your running ranked TA, I'd say bore/breach charge, invisbomb/thermal vision(for seeing invis enemys), and sonar.
Should just make barrels explode in one hit when people are carrying them and kept them the same otherwise

Point blank shot at someone very close range and it still just ... missed. Theres now way only one of the 3 hit if this was consistent. Plus it should have been a headshot and it dealt normal damage.
too my knowledge, sniper and the medium shotgun are accurate when hipfiring, seems weird not too have it on revolver when it is essentially just a rifle
That explains a lot ... it definitely seemes slower and the melt rate is notably affected. I love spamming the trigger and having it match the fire rate . It did not need a nerf whatsoever imho. Maybe a damage decrease if it was really such an issue.

Thoughts on a Healing Bomb that works like a vanishing bomb but gives everyone hit with it a 50 or 60 HP bump, up to their max health, not over it. For mediums that way they could help heal themselves but also boost the health of teammates nearby. Maybe same cooldown as a vanishing bomb

Add more delay to the grabbing claw so that heavys with spears can't attack instantly. Not by a huge amount, but enough where a medium at least can get outside of the range. So like a 1 second delay about.

XP doesnāt behave like a SMG at range. It beams like a AKM.
Charge is also a crutch panic button. Heavy needs good weapons. Not broken utility. Literally like every other class.
So let LMGs be decent, with more recoil than an AR, but good damage as a reward for hitting shots. Like an actual LMG.

I played the flamethrower to learn how to play against it and its super easy to scorch down lights and mediums . You literally dont have to aim and the afterburn is pretty much insurance.

I agree they are better close range. To clarify i think the afterburn is a nerfable spot . It seems a bit ridiculous to die a few seconds after you already took down the guy and are already on to other things.

Flamethrower's main good quality is the fact you can almost always guarantee a trade on yourself, but that's 80% of kills you're gonna get which means sacrificing yourself a lot
Something invaluable that isn't mentioned a lot about flamethrower is the fact you can counter both goo and gas, which is something nice to have on hand, but doesn't make it viable. It is, and always will be, more of a gimmick weapon that I keep in my back pocket incase the 2-3 sword light team somehow makes it to the next round and I need to fry them to a crisp
