I feel like it should just stun for like 3.5 seconds and keep the moment thing same with the ads but allow the stunned person to use abilities
It’s currently at 3.75 seconds I would say lower it to 3sec or even 2.75 or base the stun on the class it’s effected by
I like both of these ideas. I mostly hate stun gun because I mostly use melee or short-range weapons (read: flamethrower), which suffer disproportionately to stun gun compared to actual guns.
I say, make the FCAR recoil more punchy
I feel as if heal beam should be replaced with a drone type of ability that can heal or scout enemy’s as it would make much better use or the see though walls ability that the medium class has while also having the ability to heal without losing attacking capabilities but also can be shot down with the drone having like 100 so health with a 25-30 second cooldown

there is so much potential for this game if they do it right
Chain trap:
If an enemy walks over this trap they take 30 dmg and can only move 5 meters away from the trap the trap lasts 8 seconds and can be shot once activated.
Available for meduim and heavy.
Fists:
Available for heavy does inmense dmg to structures and does 180 damage to enemies within range (meelee). Also pusehes back said enemies. (2 charges)
Drill:
Attaches to a surface and emits a thermite effect which burns enemies on the other side of the surface and has a max penetration of 15 meter. Truly great for those corner campers.
Does 25 damage per tick. Available for medium and light.
what's the medium meta rn?
Heal Beam, FCAR and Defib. Pick your preference of other two gadgets. Usually one movement.
APS turret is extremely useful as well

FCAR is better than AK by quite a bit. Much faster ttk. It just needs good aim before it starts becoming op.
Honestly FCAR needa nerfed with how busted it is in top ranks.
They have the same damage but the FCAR is more accurate and has little less recoil, akm though has more ammo so it's just a preference but yeah, FCAR will be better off in a long run

- Musket (functions as an iron sight sniper)

- tommy gun with drum mag (high ROF, lower damage, great hipfire)
- AN-94 or FAMAS (Burst assault weapon)
Heavy
- brass knuckles (fast melee with a chargable 3 hit combo)
- akimbo desert eagle (no ads possible)

javelin would be like an extreme grenade that can headshot, discus could explode or give a target a concussion, shotput would knock their ass out
ive been running light w/ grapple (omg its so good when you get used to it) and LH1 gas frag and glitch nades, is pistol better then lh1? i like the automatics but i you get no value at range, and stun i feel is not that strong when you are flying into enemys / taking long range fights. i avoid mid-range fights cause i cant win them (this is not for comp i run mid in comp cause y'now)
noone should say anything needs to be nerfed before the play it that way you understand the difference between skill and ability of a weapon
I was thinking of maybe making a grenade/marker where the lazer beam from the death lazer event would drop in a concentrated area

I think V9S is slightly better but only because it’s easier. LH1 is still a killer though. I use them both; I’m most into LH1 right now, but I do think the pistol is just a little bit better.

been running basically your build in ranked and it fares very well if your teammates can fight together as a duo, as you have to be far from the fight but still doing damage for your teammates from a distance

Oh yeah no taser is really only good against either other lights or medium but most lights go as close as possible and tase you instead of using it at max range since you can’t aim down sights
The good light tasers will do it at max range or use it as a get away tool since that gives them 3.75 seconds to run away
Hmmm the one hit kill hs would be too much i would say. Don't like anything that 1 hits people. Maybe make it like apex where you don't get a hit location indicator, so the enemy doesnt know where he's getting hit from?
taser is good to get away and let your teammates dive the stunned guy. great for team fights and soloing out one enemy

@shadow slate gas mines are pretty awesome, but also gets me self killed. But I guess it's good for weakening the heavies. What I use this build for is to get my team over to the spot really quick, zipline really helps out! so does the jump pad. The explosive mine I shoot through walls to knock out other enemy mines which there are wayyy too many. Gas mines seem good to protect though, I'll try them again. 🙂

I hate when I'm playing against turett+gas mine. Usuallly I put them at door entrances, or on the bank it thingie.
I use exoplosive mines and get decent amount of kills overall
if your in buildings ut them near ziplines or stairs

"go to b" send a zipline to there to further get them there faster. Zipline is so damn useful for speeding up everyone on the team.
Worst is when you get a team of just you and someone else. you should get a bonus for that. Usually 1 guy sucks no matter what. And there's one badass team. It'd be nice for server options if there was a no party server. but wrong channel 😄

and my original point is that the M60 is great in CQ, so maybe adjust the recoil so it’s easier to land headshots in close to mid range
the lewis is meant to be a long range counterpart to the m60 with less dps. the dps difference is near negligible and it still shreds at close range. i think the best solution is the lower the rate of fire to both reduce its dps and increase the penalty of missing a shot up close

M60 should get a massive utility damage bonus to make it different from Lewis. Basically every gadget and shield should get shredded by just a few bullets at range from M60. Making M60 into an actual suppressor weapon.
So the Lewis vs M60 matchup would be more dynamic. Mesh shield and dome shield would get countered by my version of M60 so the user of it would make sure to have dome shield down when fighting Lewis. That way the M60 wins the fight.
Without gadgets helping M60, the Lewis would probably win.
I like that idea.
With how few weapons there are, it is a shame that quite a few are almost clones.

I would say so. M11 is only useful close up, while the other two are more versatile at range and up close. I would say XP-54 and V9S compete better overall than M11 and XP.

The M60 is such a chunky weapon and I love how it sounds, it just needs a little more love and it’ll be worth using

While the medium weapons are very consistent and that’s their whole deal, I believe the FCAR (like the XP-54), is too consistent.
What if they gave Light a hackign special. You could turn enemy equipment to your side.

Hey, I was thinking about a zip trap. where to can attach two objects that have a rope or wire that connects them and when you press a button on a phone or a trigger like the breach charge and C4. The line retracts either bringing a moveable object to a wall or floor or pulling two loose objects to each other making them explode or burst. And if you get lucky enough you can attach it to players and pull back lights, stop mediums where they are, and slow down heavies.

Sledge is pretty good as it is but those pesky stun gun lights are really annoying. Charge'n'slam is a nice addition to the sledge so you get to some opponents faster but I agree, this baby deserves some love

cause melee in other classes is useless, light has cloak and tazer, cloak to get close tazer to incapacite to slap up, it makes perfect sense to only use light for melee, why would u choose heavy cause that means people can litearlly just outrun u plus no tazer or cloak

Sledgehammer is amazing but those pesky tazers really fucks it up, riot shield requires a special type of movement you need to run turned to the right a bit so it actually blocks damage and the dagger... Well it's difficult, you need to get behind people to stab them and it's not easy
idk riot shield seems like viable option espeically when put into perspective the role of a heavy, i mean he litearlly has placable shields aswell as a shield that pops up from no where on the fly, the entire purpose is to be a bullet sponge, i think it would be 10x more skillful if people relied on their gadgets to survive rather than just an abysmal amount of health
and thats the whole reason i think riot shield not bad is because it requires skill to hide urself behind a shield aswell as situational awareness to avoid letting their teammates flank, but if u just have insane amount of health theres really no skill required

u know the game is unbalanced when a heavy survives an entire mag of grenade launchers, its literally impossible to kill a heavy with one full magazine of CL-40, its just funny at this point, like im loosing my ability to give genuine critizism at this point, like how can the game be so unbalanced that an entire mag of explosives cannot kill a player
riot is nice support/melee option
even with grenade launchers hitting direct impact, heavy can walk away from eating 3 entire grenades
i had riot teammate, he was good riot seems more like support than melee attacker, but it has crazy potentional for support

i think light being able to move faster than all other classes is enough, being able to cloak, taze, and tranverse the map would all be way too much to have for one class
my playstlye uses dash to go across large gabs and in combat to dash behind people and force them to 180 only to go backj around
like imagine someone cloaks then they disapear and start depositing halfway across the map, its a bit unfair tbh, since its not a gadget theyre forced to either be in the open or transverse the map at a limited speed, having invis and instant travel is wayyyy too much

Make C4 and Breach Charge low damage. Then add a stick of dynamite that blows up walls and is high damage while not being attachable to objects. It blows up in a set amount of time or unless someone shoots them. Just though of this idea because of the new mode

Cause they are heavy. Just tuck behind corner, use util etc. This game is about chip damage. Killing a heavy within 2 secs with an aoe weapon isn’t reasonable. Heavy’s can not kill you in 3 shots
if i was given the upper hand, if i shot them in the back with an entire magazine, i should not have to risk being defenseless infront of someone for an entire 2 seconds, if i shot them in the back with an entire magazine its only fair i get the kill, its so unfair that u think "just reload" is that easy

ttk for some guns (especially heavy guns against lights and mediums) are sub 2 seconds

hmmm reload is 3 seconds for CL-40, while lewis (main heavy gun) takes only 1.62 seconds to kill someone, but reloading fixes everything right
Ttk in this game is not fractions of a second if your playing right. I have to say as someone that has gotten 25 kills in one tourney round with the CL that it’s a skill issue. Practice aiming on moving enemy’s, pridiciting future locations, and using util to get the final kill and deal chip. Line up to deal damage to enemy’s when they can’t even see you (you can use grandes to plan the other of the launcher). You are treating the Cl40 like the AKM or Fcar but you have to play more like light, get in get out, deal chip.
You can shoot while reloading with Cl40 it’s only 1 sec for first shell

Your neglecting the fact that it deals aoe, projectiles curve, you can shoot while reloading.
its not logical for a class to survive 3/4th of an entire magazine, just going by the numbers its quite literally IMPOSSIBLE to kill heavys with certain guns, even if u were in the perfect situation looking directly at their back

real, abilities are ass compared to shit like charge and cloak, plus theyre health is soooo ass in contrast to their movement speed

u know the game is unbalanced when people dont go for middle grounds and only opposite extremes, and it seem like people use light in the coin gamemode and then people only use heavy in vault game mode, that right there kinda shows that the classes arent balanced

Medium isn’t played as much in quick cash because they arnt as fun. They are support and damage, but no fun explosions or fun movement. Tourneys are almost entirely medium
defib and healing beacon undeniably the best, but u gotta sacrafice a huge part of ur loadout to be a support, ig thats the whole purpose but its difficult to enjoy the middle ground when ur fighting both extremes of aboslute tank and little evasive fella who u cant find
at that point ur only a medic with no abilities to fight with, other classes have things they can use to fight with like cloak or rage, but medium is stuck with a healing beacon lol
I think cl40 dealing higher aoe range and higher destruction damage would help it find its niche a lot better.

I honestly feel like they should have a done a reskin for the sniper this game mode as the repeater rifle would have made a good skin or a carcano looking weapon. ive been mainly playing light since i started and havent really had issues. once i unlocked cloaking and vanish bombs it made it even easier. light is on the verge of being unbalanced the way they are. they def do not need stims.

Got some ideas for unique weapon skins: Katana for sword(c'mon, it's obvious), marlin 45-70 gov. for sniper rifle( would go perfectly with cowboy aesthetics of the new event), M240 or M249 for M60(two cool af LMGs), combat knife or Bowie knife for dagger(for horror aesthetics I'd suggest kitchen knife(Michael Myers)) and FN FAL for FCAR(cold war classic along side with M16)
For weapons I'd love to see m1911 and some pump shotty, Remington 870 or Mossberg 590 would be preferable but at the same time they would work as skins for M1987

To really embrace the destructibility of the map, should add more destructive weapons/gadgets. A suggestion could be to add a rocket ram thing. User holds on to a rocket thing that ram through anything in any direction. Another suggestion is to call in heavy airstrikes by putting a flare. Some unique weapons. I would have said maybe to add a tank but I am not if it would work in a game like this (better for battlefield I guess). I just wanna bring more buildings down cause the destruction in ths game is too amazing fr.

I would just make Goo encase someone. Screen is blocked and you are trapped for a very brief period of time. But shooting for a while or throwing something breaks you out of it.

Dear anyone at Embark who reads this. Can you add Nunchucks as a weapon for one of the classes please. I think it could be really cool. It could have to fire modes. The main fire which swings it around and does regular damage. Then the alt fire u could hold to charge it (they place it under there arm between the arm and chest like in movies and stuff) and then u release and it flicks out, extending the arm so it grants a bit longer range and does more damage than the normal attack. OR you could make some awesome lightsaber-style deflect as the alt fire. Anyone who wants to see this react please i think itd be awesome! (P.S Embark Devs i wanna be an ideas guy for you guys, loving everything you're doing with the FINALS, cant wait for season 2!!!!)

So each card effects differently, you must collect VR and be a certain level to have these available.

Increase turret duration,or maybe the range of the turret by percentages up to fifteen percent going up by five for each card. For charge and slam you can increase duration or increase number of usage like this is how i imagine them being used

I think there should be another sniper rifle for the medium class, since they have access to stuff like zip lines it makes sense for that class to get some form of long range weapon.

What about a repulsor gadget for Light? Could get picks by knocking people off ledges or into hazards, deflect certain projectiles, maybe some emergent uses like propelling throwables faster and further or using them for impulse jumps.
requires too much thinking for average light, they can only point and click you are asking too much from them
The only caveat I have for that is it shouldn’t affect cashout steals but I think it’d be cool.

I honestly cant believe im joining the boat of "Nerf Taser" it just feels way to massive of a denial to do anything like with heavys and mediums at least you can fight back but as a light there is 0 counter play I cant think of a good way to nerf it now but a good start would be to either increse the cooldown so they cant pop it as often or to reduce the stun time further I would say to either 1.5 sec or its based on each class (Lights = 1sec Mediums = 2sec Heavy = 3sec)
Im also saying this coming off a game where it was mostly lights and all they would do in any conflict was Taser kill move on

A heavy was steal cash and I was within 2 meters and shot it to stop the cash but it either didn't hit him or had no effect

Idk about the certain level req... the whole point is that you can unlock anything that looks interesting. IMO putting level caps on what you can or can't use would just hinder progression and make the game more unfun.

Running Heavy with Mesh Barrier, Lewis Gun, Barricade, Done Shield and RPG. I feel the dome shield gets bursted too early as an ability and the barricade placements could be a bit wider or reshaped

It still kills but they added trajectory to the red canister so it's more difficult to always have a direct hit. Red canister before would always move in a straight line and explode on impact, now it bounces around before exploding

the barricades are good because you can dome shield to get your med or light player in to start the steal and then place barricades to cover them and use your mesh barrier for an extra layer
also if we're defending our cashouts the barricades are so good at blocking doors and forcing angles. I could place up to 6 in most defending cashouts

Gas is powerful but all the mines can be popped early and any barrel type throwable can be picked up and thrown elsewhere. So its more of an execution thing at that point
Mines and C4* would be a lot more fair if shooting an enemy mine destroyed it without triggering it
i think its fair as is but gas, pyro, glitch mines shouldn't be as powerful or equal to the grenade version
I agree with this. I switched from explosive to gas for this reason - people started to expect explosives and pop them early. Versus gas mines it still renders an area dangerous if they do that ☺️

i like this actually - gas is definitely a little bit excessive with its AoE, damage rate, and duration, which for me is the biggest issue. gas mask nerfs it BUT requires other teams to sacrifice a gadget in order to combat it.

Here’s a cool little concept i’ve had.
I believe that the sniper rifle should not be limited to just light players. But I also see why this is, as the light kit is a great fit for the sniper with many trade offs. So heres an idea.
A heavy duty barrett sniper rifle. It can be a specialization, and not a main weapon. It can work like the Goo gun, having its own seprete magazine of around 4-5 shots. There is a slight cooldown between each shot, keeping it from being spammed. Reloding it takes a VERY long time.
A single bullet can deal around 140 damage to a body shot, and a rewarding 200 for a headshot. This makes it a threat, but is balanced out by its many cooldowns and slow usage. (etc it takes a long time to scope in and theres heavy recoil.)
What can make this weapon more unique as it has the ability to penetrate walls, allowing you to hit opponents who are behind cover. I think though that opponents hit with a bullet through a wall should deal half the damage. (140 -> 70 200 -> 100) This can balance it out a bit.

The sniper alr does the damage ur asking for this sniper wouldn’t fit into the meta. The reason light has sniper too is because it’s the weakest class In terms of HP and giving snipers to “slow guys with 350 hp” creates tanks that either die cause they can’t move anywhere or deadly killers with good aim who can just sit in a dome or behind a barricade picking ppl off. Or mediums with 250 HP that can launch themselves in the air and hit sniper shots from roofs or just in the air in general. It’s a balancing thing. But again the regular sniper I think does 140-160 per body shot and headshots are 230-240. I don’t remember the actual values but another sniper would just be pointless rn
I see your point but I think it could come into some use. The statistics can always be changed. Just offering more long range to other classes. It’s more of a risk/reward type thing. You lose one of your 3 teammates who is just sitting somewhere sniping. Also with the amount of coverage the maps have, I think that there would be enough options to go around it. Maybe it can be like a one shot thing. Or a headshot can do 195.
While I like ur method of thinking unfortunately ppl don’t like one shots in games anymore as that is called “skill less” and especially in this game where ppl absolutely hate one shots. Hence rpg nerf not one shotting lights anymore. I just don’t think another sniper fits into the meta unfortunately because of how good our current sniper is. Maybe if the sniper has a unique perk to it like you said maybe it goes thru walls or maybe explosive bullets that could be used to destroy certain bits of building after shooting it 3-4 times. But I think a proper DMR not like the LH1 but a dmr with a scope and resemblance of a better mid to long range weapon would be a better fit. The most I can see with another sniper is faster fire rate lower damage atp tho.

I really think The Finals should introduced unrealistic weapons like laser guns or something, I got this idea from the raygun skin on the v9s as it is really good. Like Imagine railguns in the finals.
I think sticking to actual guns rather than fantasy would keep it grounded to an fps. games like apex provide that kind of gameplay
I think as well that they should lean more into the destruction on each class, instead of just letting heavy have the lion's share.
The game was mostly marketed around the destruction mechanics, but the only destruction tool not on heavy is the little breaching charge on light.
It just really lowers the ability to intelligently destroy and make new paths that the game was sold on.
The bombs classes that throw like with the charge or mine on canister are way to deadly they can knock out a whole team and I think they’re should be a limit to go far it can travel with it on it or just one on it

Jumpad is better because with the zip line your going in a straight line and your enemies know where your going and it’s pretty easy to laser you down with an fcar or smth but with jumpad it’s more unpredictable or if u want to u can use both

jump pad is harder to control zipline is consistent and goes farther. if anyone says you're easier to shoot on the zipline the logical response is if you are free in the air you are easier to shoot at

well the other argument is you can do more escape plays with jump pad. I run Healing Beam FCAR Defibrilator Zipline and Frag or Gas Grenade for reference

I think it would be interesting to see slow-mo grenades or even a specialisation being added to the game.
It would work just like at the end of a match, when everything slows down for a few seconds and you can still kill players.
It would probably work best as a specialisation, slowing down enemies as well as yourself.
Could be op paired with a sniper though, so it would be best not to give it to the light.

It could be fun if the round prebuilt round jump pads that are on the map acted more as trampoline. The higher you fall from and more momentum you have the higher jump you get. Edit: Keep the round and triangle pads as is but had a new square shaped one that functions as trampoline.

I have some ideas of getting one gun of each type of character, by that I mean light, medium and heavy which are a crossbow for light, a bow and arrow for medium and a harpoon for heavy that you need to pull back when shot at opponents.

Did barricades purposely get nerfed to death? You cannot deploy & swap to primary quickly any longer. Can't pull out your primary unless you look completely away from it. I def don't want to pick up the barricade...I want to shoot.

Before you had to look at the base to pick it up wich was perfect. Now you pick it up by from anywhere...meaning you cannot swap to primary when you're behind it.
