smokes are horrible and I never take them, but you can find fire extinguishers that you can chuck at fire to put them out

There is currently no anti cheating activity, no matter how aggressive the hackers are, I haven't seen any of them banned. When do you plan to restart anti cheating
Which light gun is best used with dash?
it depends on your playstyle but the most easier for me atleast is the xp-54 since it is easy to contol or you could use the shotgun for high amount of damage
December 7th to December 9th. I have seen a very strong anti cheating campaign, and I have seen a large number of bans. Many hackers cannot persist for more than 3 hours, but after December 9th, anti cheating has been completely shut down. I have not seen any hackers being banned. May I ask why this is happening

It's only a visual bug for you, you are not actually invisible to other. had it happen to me as well.
And no, don't nerf RPG, it's a perfect counter to lights. Normaly light is a counter to heavy. and without RPG they would have no counter play.
The rpg only takes like 70% hpn on direct hit on a medium.. and barelly scratches a heavy.
Just learn to counterplay. glitch grenade = they can't use shield or any abilities = ez target.

The pot method would be fine if it broke on shields. You pretty much need to attach it to a fire or explosive barrel as it stands for that

it needs a wider activation range so it will trigger from the person with the shield
that is exactly why the barrels are important. it'll blow up as it gets close, or at least you can mostly force it to before it bounces.

add weapon attachments (not like COD, think more R6)
add like 5 catagories, but you can only have 3 equipped at the same time, all come with a 1% movement decrease ontop of any other buffs/debuffs they have
foregrip: Commando (reduces vert recoil by 5% adds 5% more horizontal recoil), vertical (decreases horizontal recoil by 5%, adds 5% more vert recoil), Laser (is a laser, does exactly what you would think, just makes it easier to aim on hipfire, no decrease of stats, no increase of stats)
barrel: long (less dmg decrease over distances, 10% less spread, but movement penalty of 15% slower) CQB (faster movement speed for that class by 15%, and faster weapon draw, but add 10% more spread)
muzzle: Compensator (vert recoil decreases by 5% and adds like 2.5% less spread at the cost of 2.5% increase horizontal recoil), Suppressor (no shit what it does, less pew sound per pew, at the cost of 5% less dmg and higher dropoff of dmg at range because subsonic ammo, but for the first 3 shots keeps you in a vanished state if you are using that ability [light's special ability to go invis, suppressor would keep them invisible for the first 3 shots of that instead of the first taking them out of it]), CQB (5% speed increase, 5% more spread and vert recoil +5%, BUT melee does 50% more dmg), Muzzle break (horizontal recoil decrease by 5% and 2.5% less spread at the cost of 5% vert recoil
sight: holopoint (1.5X sight, same as FCAR sight) reflex (1X sight, basically FCAR sight but doesn't zoom in at all, just adds a crosshair to your gun), ACOG (the MP5 sight but with 50% more zoom), sniper scope (the sniper scope from the light class sniper)
stock: Heavy (increase hipfire accuracy/ decrease spread of bullet, at the cost of 15% movement reduction), Light( 5% more vertical recoil, 3% more spread, 10% more speed)
for example, a heavy with m60 with long barrel and compensator and laser to make a hipfire LMG, cant have 2 things from same area attached at the same time.

There are definitely some balancing issues and changes to be made, but those will come with time (I hope) attachments to weapons could work to some level, but with how that is outlined aside from scope you're basically pushing the game to be less of a movement shooter and more like other shooters. Not only that but some things have immediate balancing issues such as the staying stealthed for 3 shots with the supressor.
None of the weapons as of now feel unbalanced necessarily, some may be better than others in some regards but you can definitely do well with anything
if they add more guns, all it will do is either break the game or do nothing meta is MP5 AK Lewis and those are meta for a reason, to change that, either rework how the guns work, or add guns that are insanely broken and the meta will switch to those. if someone has a better idea on how to switch the meta and make the game more fun WITHOUT a full gun rework on how everything works and changing almost everything about each gun im down to hear it. right now, attachments are the best thing to add, adds more playstyles, more strats to each character, keeps most of the base stats the same, but tweaks it slightly so you can switch the use of the gun
when was the last time that you saw someone run the FCAR anyway lets be honest, the AK is better in every way, more ammo, better firerate, the only downside is it doesn't have a scope
I prefer the scope on the fcar, thatâs the only reason I use it

The point of how guns are balanced is so they're good in different situations. No gun should be overall meta, some might be easier to use and that's fine. At higher rank they should all be an option and need balanced so they can be used within reason

glitch grenades for the shielding and healing. don't turn a corner without more information. mediums have sonars, lights have motion sensors. Light also has breach charges to get someone out of a corner if they're genuinely just sitting there
Play light, use glitch grenades and frags
Play medium, use recon and play carefully
Play heavy, help your teammates do that for you :p
also with light you can kinda just leave youre usually fast enough to do so unless you overcommit

the way I look at it, Heavy is the tip of the spear, medium is the binding, and light is the handle. Light can be a lever and allow the already good classes to be in a better position literally or figuratively by knocking off an opponent

@glacial pasture I think the issue with weapon spawns on the map is that so much is destructible that the only spawn points you could place them on are way too easy/accessible for such a strong weapon. I would prefer if they were in much harder to reach/time consuming places but with destruction they'd have to make maybe specific platforms they could sit on that would spawn in during events maybe.

Also from the ranges that you should be engaging 50m it matters for a few bullets these few bullets on the Ak are right at the transition part of the recoil pattern so it not only makes it do less dmg but you need to change the way you spray
That being said I am still a beam but it didnât need a nerf and if they were going to nerf it put it in the patch notes not a shadow nerf
If you put this in prospective too it makes the kill potential from 3 m classes to 2 with body shots

Maybe give the sledgehammer a lunge? The biggest problem with a melee weapon on heavy is thereâs no way to close the gap since you donât have fast movement. Unless the philosophy with the sledge is to tear down the walls/ceilings between your enemies and literally crash on them

yeah but you cant always guarantee making it into a window. I've always just done it to the roof edge (meaning itll be sideways) but above a balcony. Idk I just seem to be the last to get to the action and people are dead and it sucks. Might just stick with bounce pad
Yeah i have been taking bounce pad more on every map except Vegas i feel like zipline works better there since the map is way more flat when compared to the other maps
some of the infinite abyss crossings is where its so useful tho cuz bounce doesn't take you laterally that far. I've seen people put them on slanted roofs to get an angle
You can use slide or movement abilities (light dash, heavy charge.etc) in to boost pads to get more of a forward momentum as well

guys has anyone tested how the cloak works? in the description it says if you're not moving you are completely invisible, however does this apply if you're reloading, and standing still? or even looking around while standing still? or does it mean no input whatsoever?
It has enough health to be a whole other person and it does decent damage.
No player movement and you are invisible from what I see. Reloading or not you will be a menace.

Only the initial hit counts, not the after effect. Throwing pots and plants in their faces usually works better, about 50 damage for a hit
If you get good at it you can do 150 damage with a direct hit from a red canister, not that easy though

This is assuming people land headshots and is literally the trade off between akm and fcar. Fcar does more damage per bullet and has the same accuracy, but far less ammo than akm. So less room for error.

Ima be that guy here, but the Fcar is compairable to the Wingman in apex legends (Heavy revolver that hits like a bowing 357) and the Wingman was nerfed HARD because it can just massively out perform on compitant aim compaired to every other gun.

It boggles my mind why anyone would create a "weapon meta" in their game. The beta had the gunplay down to a tee, every weapon felt perfect and there was no amazing weapon, nor any weapon that felt overpowered. Now, 90% of the playerbase are light players, with camo and submachine guns, because that is The Meta. Every other weapon and class has been nerfed into the ground. So, its just a boring call of duty clone now.

grenade launcher on medium is good, but its drawbacks make it difficult to use in a lot of situations. does 100 damage on direct hits, and I believe 40-80 on proximity? so even against heavies it does some solid damage. fast reload too per bullet if you miss more than you should.
just.. if you're ever in an enclosed area for a cashout and you don't have a distant vantage point (the room is still enclosed and not blown the fuck up) then it can be very dangerous to defend it yourself like mediums would normally do

The medium GL is underrated, and I think about it as 4+1 shots because you can usually load a shell somewhere during a fight. If you stay behind cover between shots and make use of long range you can deal a lot of damage without taking much yourself. The GL is very good at punishing anyone who tries to chase you around corners
The GL has a lot of utility for destroying mines, ziplines, barrels
GL as a utility weapon has a lot of the problems that the sledgehammer does
Both aren't useless but you're trading an actual gun for the ability to sometimes take care of problems more effectively
and god help you against heavies if you're using the GL

how do you guys find akm vs fcar for medium?
why does the sniper feel like I'm using a mouse to simulate joystick input? Is this a design thing or is it bad settings?
i find the mag capacity of the fcar is a little low if it was like 5 bullets more i wouldnt have any complaints
nevermind, answered my own question. It's a (bad) design thing. ADS animation turns the sensitivity down to practically 1% before returning to normal once full ADS is established

EMBARK needs to give us the ability to make custom team colors, names, icons (within some limits I.E some type of chat filter like every other game that does this), just to make it feel more like 4 teams going against each other instead of random fill squads in whatever BR you are into rn, allows you to invite your friends, must have a 3 man squad to run as custom team as to not cause issues for 3 different players being in 3 different teams and the game not being able to choose which one to run, also allow us to get drip that is for our custom team (our color scheme, logo, stuff like that) with VP to give the people who have everything something to spend it on.

it's off. It's just the mouse zoom sensitivity multipler. I don't have this issue in Counter Strike. With the snipers there I get a true 1:1 ADS to hip fire but here the sensitivity scaling throws me way off

The gun is not automatic after 2-3 shots u have to twist and turn it in a middle of a gun fight, so that is like an advantage in a middle of a gun fight for ur opponent, after 2-3 shots u are granted 5 fast shots an nine times out of ten that dose not even finish off ur opponent. the shotgun is only good if ur team is good and organized in a gun fight. i dont see why everyone keeps complaining that the shotgun is so powerful a lot matchs people tell me i should not even use the sa1216 because it is trash. the saud off shotgun on lightbuild is more powerful its litteraly 3 shots u are dead. which the sa1216 takes up to a full clip to finish off one opponent and u might get a squad wipe if you teamates already hit them up a little bit.

I think 10-12 weapons per class is fine, once everything is finished. Specializations should get 1-2 more and gadgets should have at least 2 more each class

its laterally how your team plays its just like call of duty, their guns have no recoil "barely any" but they do the same amount of damage the shotgun only dose one shot in hardcore. every build you have to play accordingly if you approach a situation in the proper way you will succeed.

ya i am gonna be honest if u are a light u get taken down pretty easy by ur self, but one thing iv relalized if you are with anothter teamate u seem to take more shots. Light is like 1-2 shots by ur self ur dead medium will eat up at 4-5 shots full health depending on if u hit those shots.
you can do a little over 400 damage in a burst less than a second long with 0 aim skill
do you think 400dps bodyshot shotgun in this game is balanced when most guns barely crack 300dps with all headshots
dude the sa1216 is trash my guy everyone says it is in game and they get suprised when i do good with it. use the s1216 an see how bad it is. u litteraly shoot 2-3 shots and u have to twist and turn it, by time u do that ur dead the only how ur staying alive is if u have good movement and the 350 helath u pack might win the fight.
if you apply shotgun skill levels to the AKM (for example) you'll be lucky to do 150dps, literally a third of what the autoshotgun does
if you fail to kill someone before needing to twist it then you would have lost even harder with any other weapon
unless they're at long range, but if they're at long range you have a 1250 hp shield you can put up at any time and just walk towards them
If i shoot at something for the same amount of time between mediumâs shotgun and heavyâs shotgun
Heavyâs shotgun clip is reloaded, chewed through 2 teams, and mediumâs is almost finished with their first 6 shots
also yeah to clarify, by the time you can shoot 4 times with medium shotgun which usually is just enough to kill a heavy, heavy can fire 2 bursts of 4 shots which is enough to teamwipe

you can literally kill the light before the light kills you with the autoshotgun
and against any other weapon that isn't a shotgun you will utterly dominate
there is nothing even an aimbotting medium can do against the autoshotgun in close range, you will bodyshot him to death with the shotgun before he can headshot you to death, even with the scar
ofc u can if he is close enough to ur face then it dose more damage if the light is a distance it just peppers him up enough to re-collect the re group and do another approach.

dude i am litteraly on the last camo for the gun my average kills is 10-15 kills a game and prefer people to carry lol. no one uses the sa1216 no one uses it. i started consistantly playing this game on launch n nobody uses sa1216.
you can fire 4 times and kill a medium, press mesh shield, and the gun will be ready again after you drop shield
there is not one person in this discord that has the last camo for the sa1216.

i find it pretty unlikely anyone has triangle twinkle for any primary in this game except maybe sledge by now, you get at most like 1.5k exp a game and you need somewhere around 400k exp to get triangle twinkle
and while 300 qp matches isn't a huge amount, 300 qp matches with the same gun every time definitely is
and you only get 1.5k if you're fragging out of your mind and getting over 20 kills each game

i do get in matchs with people that use the shotgun i just do better with it then them. just like there is matchs i play where people use lightbuild an everyone using sh1900 and invisible and just dominates floor. at the end of the day i wont complain i understand that, it is their specialty and it is up to me to try my best to come up with a game plan on how to get a upper hand and sometimes u wont get the upper hand i appreciate any type of gameplay but normally a lot people will do whatever to win. honestly it is how u approach every situation with the builds. every build has a part to play depending on how good the teams u are facing.
mouse zoom sensitivity really sucks in this game. I don't know what it is but in any other FPS, when I ADS using iron sights or a scope then my aim is not affected as grossly as it is in the finals. Here, due to zoom sensitivity multiplier, I'm either too high or too low for accurate shooting.
The Finals needs to discriminate between iron sights and scopes. You cannot apply a one-size-fits-all approach to these two very, very different methods of aiming.
