Do the tools and gadgets for medium-class characters feel overwhelming loaded and unenjoyable to anyone else fight against? The turret is not only unfun to deal with but also excessively tanky. However, my primary concern is the instant revival with the defibrillator right in front of you during a firefight. This not only lacks balance but is also highly frustrating, especially considering the immunity granted to the revived person.
The heal beam adds to the frustration, making it really difficult to eliminate opponents who are constantly being healed. The combination of the defibrillator and heal beam in close proximity creates an even more problematic scenario with the immunity frames. This issue becomes significantly worse when there are two or three medium-class characters on the same team.
This wouldn't be so overloaded if medium-class characters had to deal with mediocre guns or Low HP in exchange for strong gadgets. However, mediums also boast the best guns in the game and are tanky enough to perform instant revives while under fire. Defibrillator is likely my biggest issue with the class

My problem with medium is that it almost demands to be played with a team. Go it alone and you don’t have much besides mad shooting skills to survive on. And let’s be honest: when playing solo, team play is HARD.

Honestly heal beam itself isn't that big of a problem, it's teams that have two heal beams. The heavy is borderline unkillable at that point, primarily because 90% of light players are inbreds that don't understand the value of glitch nades and never bring them.
I do agree that the immunity on revive can be annoying but if they're just running up to them with their defib out you should be shooting and killing that medium easily. What is their teammate who is revived at half health going to do?

my issue with lh1 is gun model+ iron scope takes so much of the screen easy to lose someone with the recoil
well what I meant was in a game where much of it is close combat and really fast paced it can be overwhelming using the LH1 considering its massive iron scope and low DPS if you dont hit every shot as a headshot, and it just ends being outshined by the other weapons

Yep, XP-54 with stungun, vanish and gas grenades is by far the most vercatile light build and is great for attacking and defending

Heavy 1 bring Charge n slam w Auto shotgun, RPG, C4 and either gas grenade or gas mine, Heavy 2 bring Mesh shield w Lewis gun RPG, DOME shield and Gas grenade or mine again, with the medium bringing Healing beam with FCAR or AKM (Persoanl preference) with defib, gasmine and jump pad.
This is what me and my trie has been dominating with this season, but everyone can mix and match for what they prefer for their individual playstyle

so, something i havent quite figured out, do enemies have to literally stand on your mines to trigger them? cause the trigger for them seems either super small or broken. Ive been using them but ive been manually triggering them. I missing something?
They've gotta run pretty much right over em. For gas mines the trick is to trigger them manually. Frags are great for this. It's part of why they're so oppressive for defending cashouts.

Gas is extremely powerful right now and the sooner people accept it the better. Yes, there are counters. No, countering gas is not as easy as using it.
The biggest issue is simply that countering gas is an uphill struggle against a low effort tactic with constant gas mines and nades
i have discovered a glitch in the game that seems unintended and also extremely useful as it works for so many things. if you prime a grenade or deployable and melee it will cause the animation to break. you can continue to hold the primed grenade and run. it also skips the prime animation completely when you do throw it. i suggest you try it yourself, it has so many applications

Light I run glitch, pyro, smoke so i can counter gas and then remove the fire. Medium/Heavy admittedly I don't bring pyros usually but if i see teams running a lot of gas mines, i will switch (obviously cant in ranked, and in that case I usually just bring a pyro anyways).
Situation I'm referring to, is either wiping a team defending their cashout, and stealing it while inside a gas cloud. Or having a dome on cashout while stealing inside a gas cloud. Technically could destroy the floor the cashout is on, and try to steal that way too but 9/10 times the team will react fast enough to where this situation never actually happens without contest
and since you wanted proof, here you go. Support beam heals the exact amount of damage the gas does. Can this be done in a firefight? No, but either behind cover or long enough to steal a cashout? Absolutely

When you are on the main page there should be a yellow "edit" option down the bottom in the middle, press that and select your weapon. Underneath the weapon there should be "customize" and you can access the charms via that.

I understand the hesitance, but it's just REALLY obvious how defibs, the heavy shotty, light shotty, and gas are affecting the game's meta in annoyingly unhealthy ways imo. They don't need to be nerfed into the ground, but like a little something would be nice

Scar takes 10 to kill a medium and ak takes 13. This makes the difference between the two actually noticable and makes it matter way more. #scargang

Medium has range. Heavy only has RPG (20-30 sec. cooldown) and machine guns (wildly inaccurate). So kind of balanced…

here's a tip: use the revolver
heavy has a big hitbox so hitting your shots will be easier and revolver absolutely melts
defib can end up essentially being that in a lot of situations

Because medium isn't a class that's primary focus is damage. They're a support class primarily.

Medium has ARs, and ARs should do more dmg than LMGs.
Just like smgs should have faster ttk than ARs at short range.
I don't play Apex so I have no frame of reference. But yes M has lower DPS than L and H because that's how they are balanced. M's main strength is their dominance in the medium range. L's excel in close quarters or long range, and H's are good up close almost exclusively.
rpg is really ez to hit at mid range. lewis gun is about as good at range as ak. Where is the downside?

The downside is in playing a slower class with no support utility, defibs or heal beam.
mines are stronger than nades in exchange for being stuck to things but then you get barrelmancy involved and they just become lol

Posted in the feedback about this but might be more prevalent for here:
the revolvers recoil/recentering animation while ADSing doesn’t match with how fast the gun fires. Because of this if you fire as fast as possible, the sight is slightly to the left of where the bullet goes and you need to aim the sight pixels to the left side of the enemy. Makes the revolver feel weird to use and most people probably just miss because they don’t know they need to shift their aim
Make OSPUZE cans throwable that work like the squids from Mario where it messes with the screen

Grenade Launcher needs to have a primary fire for detonation on contact and a secondary fire for a timed explosion like it does now. Otherwise you're practically useless and screwed against people that get close to you. Can remove zoom and use right click for alt fire, don't need to zoom anyway.
Facts, RPG should be a specialization on a longer cooldown and replaced with something else in the gadgets section.

not a fan of the new flamethrower, I think the damage should the same as it was before. Big fan of the other changes tho. Blinding was annoying and the range reduction seemed reasonable regarding how effective it was on close range

Every automatic weapon needs to have its damage cut in half, especially Medium.

well it was really nice since it did really good aoe damage and has the ability to negate poison gas, on top of that you had the upper hand on almost every close range fight except when fighting a heavy with a sg or hammer. Now even a medium with an ak can kill you faster than you can kill him

I think the reason why people complain is because it's easy to control the recoil. So when I ambush an alone heavy and spray a full magazine into his head I still have like half of my hp left.
Just run 2 heavys with shotguns, a medium with heals and one Heavy rocks the bin shield easy dubs
