To be fair it could translate really well to the game if done properly. Personally with the whole game show aesthetic the map should lean towards a more retro futuristic style, kinda like the fallout series before the nukes, and place it in or around a nuclear silo or power plant, instead of a nuke town style build. (Nuclear testing sites are pretty barren and the building layouts are pretty straightforward so it wouldn’t fit as well) But the idea of a nuke or orbital laser or something to wipe the map at the end would be sick.

my theory for the maps other than skyway stadium is that there will be one map in every continent at first. So far we have Europe: Monaco, Asia: Seoul, NA: Las Vegas. So maybe we will get a africa/south america map next (or even antartica). and if we are adding in that the maps will be popular iconic places, personally i think an african map could be Egypt, or Dubai. As of south america, rio would be cool with favelas as stated above^^. Then I guess an antartica outpost could come eventually and maybe an australia one at some point

Yes I agree. I think the non-sand storm versions of Las Vegas suffer from bad pathing, and the large open room layouts. Not to mention being outside in the streets is a death sentence since there is just a general lack of viable cover options or quick escapes. You pretty much have to play that map exclusively on the rooftops or any high ground you can get.

I think that’s what they’ve set up to do and the current plan. I don’t know about space but one of the things said by the devs was can’t wait to take you around the world. I think an Airport would be way better than Vegas because it would have the best of open and closed areas instead of just being bad like Vegas is. I just flew out of London Gatwick and it struck me that it would actually work REALLY well as a map for The Finals!

Seoul is the least balanced map, I feel like - so easy to defend the building with the bridge because of the lack of cover, and the spawn points are awful. Construction zone is fun, and the individual POIs/buildings are awesome, but the way it's all spaced out, and how you spawn makes it so ass

A map maker/ editor mode would be god tier, along with casual games that just you and your friends can play. I’d also love to see at-least a top down view or maybe a quick walk through at the end of every game of the map, just to see how ruined it is. I’d stick it right after the “podium moment” so to speak for the winning team and make it skippable for the players who don’t want to watch it.

Hello guys, i posted this in the feedback channel but probably its better here:
We just encountered a annoying situation that removed all fight flow from the game:

Seoul, tournament final and the opposing team had 1 vault already. Then the next vault spawned on the Hospital thats only reachable via the 2 bridges, the small one they destroyed. Then for 15 Minutes (the remainder of the game) they just camped that vaultspawn and everytime we tried to attempt crossing the only single available pathway they shot us from afar.

=> In a final, if a vault is not activated for 5~10 minutes, maybe it would make sense to respawn it somewhere else to avoid this total campy behavior that basically drags out till the end of the round.

But the idea is that there is a castle in the center of the map (with some twist, maybe really sturdy walls, gates that could be closed, a ditch around the castle with water and bridge), and a town that would have various buildings like apartaments, cafes, some low rise offices
