When you're making masks for texturing this in other softwares, I would make sure you create a sort of master material for exporting that turns it into an RGB mask/texture that allows it to be more modular and modify able in other programs

Generally in my setup.
Blue and red are optional, I like to make blue possibly a mask for a snow auto material. And red for a misc layer, sand possibly foliage etc depending on what the scene needs. I like to save green for whatever layer needs the most detail so typically for like rocks/cliffs. Then that can all get added onto your base layer in us for example, and you can then also combine and break them up into more paint able layers, so you can parameterize your landscape and still paint on it in engine with extra details. It really depends on your use case. Just generally think about macro and micro design and how you can make it work for you as conveniently as possible.

Where do I even begin?

The hybrid brake is killer, but what you put it on needs some explaining. It looks like the bullpup the US army rejected (it was kinda innovative) but is missing not only an ejection port, but also most of the width needed to make the handgaurd easy to grip. If there was a handstop or angled grip on it, Id let it be.

6.8x51mm and plastic ammo are the only similarities with the NGSW program, it's got a downwards ejection port and an 18in fluted barrel which is not visible yet on the optimised mesh. Additionally, using the old version of the gun in vrchat, I found it overly lengthy, which is why I purported to shorten the gun overall :^)

Thanks! I got the internals modelled on a basic level, the original inspiration was actually a guy who's engineering his own downwards ejecting bullpup, which I thought was so innovative. So I chose to try and create something along those lines with ambidextrous controls
