I was able to fix by uploading it HD265 instead of 264 but that caused it to turn into a download able file when sent instead of a video

I presume it has electric currents etc going through with small circuitry? You have elements of a more "plate" style skin in some places like on the elbows that match with the circuitry but then other places are less consistent on the legs/neck etc? Also, would the skin be fleshy or more metallic?
Overall concept looks interesting though!

i would experiment with exposed metal joints
So for both elbow/knees for example, youd see the "plates" join up to the "joint" which would be designed however you want but have the metal robot look youre going for

An example (if it makes sense to look at)
more retraction of the joint would mean the plate slides more over the joint

yeah flesh with the circuitry is good too, up to you how you do it
your concepts "skirt" idk how to call that glowing thing around the waist.. is too similar to the original
I would change up the design in that because the body itself is different enough
human head + jellyfish hair could work though with the fleshy skin
you could change the "skirt" to instead be either a somewhat shawl almost? going round the the character in the similar tail shapes coming down from the neck area which could be more refined as a chest element so it droops down from every side
or could be changed into a sort of cape or so

can still see the movement of body underneath and is also lightweight like the "skirt" would have been

photoshop definitely speeds up a lot of the process. the tools it provides are mostly for convenience but you can do some awesome stuff in there with the filters and the tools it provides you.
a lot of times, my pieces look 10% better because of these tools or else i would have to spend a lot of minutes trying to do something which i can do in literal seconds in PS
i think it wuold take roughly 30 to 50 days to get used to it
