Hi is there any shooter which has a pvp game mode where each team has atleast 10 or more players? playing that pvp mode gives rewards(better if better performance give better reward) which we can use to craft/upgrade gears or skills or stats etc and these progressions are persistent which we can carry for next pvp battles and there's no server wipe. During battle those progressions must not be equalized and higher progression/geared players should do more damage or atleast bit advantage than lower progressed/geared players.

Yea, and there is the equivalent of "prestige" called undertaking an expedition. I would assume some or all of your skill tree items will be moved over when you reset, so that you can at some point max out the skill tree entirely. This is all speculation from my part tho, but it would make sense

you could, but expect the battery life to be in minutes, not hours

if you want the Serious answer, the problem comes down to battery, and the amount of wattage going into the machine's chip

more watts in the chip, means shorter battery life, bigger battery means heavier handheld, heavier handheld means bigger handheld- it keeps going round and round

the switch 2 is comparable to the steam deck, but can get more power + more battery life due to being an arm handheld, not an x86 handheld

i bring up the switch 2 as its the only handheld to use arm. it's a look into the future if manufacturers can figure out arm more. we could see handhelds that are more efficient, run cooler, and have better battery life if arm is figured out more

x86 is better for things like desktops, while arm is better for handhelds

I just had the saddest experience ever in ARC Raiders
I was going down to the extraction, and then, I found a player stuck between a chair and a wall, I tried to get them out of there but I couldn’t, suddenly, a bunch of players arrived, but instead of fighting, we tried to get the player out of there, we couldn’t, eventually they left via extraction, I said my goodbyes and wished them luck, then, I continued with my efforts of pulling the player out, nothing worked, I supposed downing them could work, and then decided to do so, used my gun and shot at them, it downed the player, it didn’t get them out of there, but, we used the colitions between our characthers and I finally got the player out of there, but it was too late, they crawled for a few seconds then they died due to bleeding out.

I felt so guilty that i couldn’t get them out of there in time.

They DM’d me (I was using the voice chat and I was basically telling them that I didn’t want to leave them there, and when I realized downing them didn’t fix the problem, I apologized) they told me it was ok, even told me that I was a good person and thanked me for the help, wished me good runs, I thanked them back and told them to take care.

you can also add non steam games to steam!

playnite allows you to change the theme to something similar to a console, like a switch, or playstation, or xbox, but there is setup involved there

the armourycrate se launcher has its issues but its certainly functional, i dont like it because of how rough it feels to use though

im very fond of steamos' sidebars and setting structure, but amourycrate has more customisability, like certain commands you can have on speedial. when i was a windows pleb, i used the altf4 function a lot in case a game was being janky and weird

sleep mode is also hit or miss with windows, while steamos and bazzite iirc work great

unless you have games you wanna play its pretty harmless to install those on your machine

the main things steamos cant play are anticheat games that dont wish to support linux, i think overwatch 2 falls into that category though

i'd be careful with sleep mode on principle that if you choke your handheld and keep it in a case while its sleeping, you can effectively cook the thing because its not getting cool air to cool its chip

lowering the gpu's clock speed means more resources go to the cpu, which can lead to more consistent frame rates and better 1% lows

obviously, limiting clock speed will lead to lower overall frame rates, but will improve consistency

it can also increase battery life, as the gpu isn't drinking up energy to power itself more, and more efficiently goes into your cpu
