I played BF6 this morning. So far not too pleased but definitely has some good qualities

-few bugs forcing you to alt f4 and restart
-performance is great
-shotguns are ridiculous
-thermal GL needs to be removed asap
-medics do not revive anyone (classic)
-ttk feels a little bit too fast
-graphics are better than 2042 but still do not posses the same aura as BF1 or BF4
-destruction is, like i expected, a marketing trick (barely anything really gets destroyed and destruction of interiors is extremely scripted
-guns feel great
-pistols shoot blanks
-insta-death sniper headshot mechanic is something nobody wants and if it wont get removed before launch it will single handedly be responsible for this game's death
-music is okay
-sound design is decent
-overall player visibility is questionable (on some maps its easier to see someone but on some maps you blend in with your surroundings better than predator)
-map design is... definitely there...

overall - game ain't worth 80 bucks, wait for a sale

The maps are pretty small and there is no long range vehicle warfare or long range anything. Even the biggest map in the beta only takes less than 3 minutes to run across. Im sure this is for test reasons to gather more gun data than travel data, however, it does make sniping only viable in like 3 spots in the whole beta. Almost everyone runs either SMGs or LMGs. You get the occasional shotgunner with his assault rifle but everything else is the other 2.

Bf6 is pretty disappointing so far, same tired gameplay we’ve seen for 20 years. The whole game lacks any sort of personality or soul. Classes all look the same, guns all sound the same, you can pick almost any gun and attachments and it makes no diff to the feel or ttk. 2/3 maps feel like narrow cod maps, and the open one is bland af with no defining features. Also there’s some horrible blue tint like bf3 except worse. I suspect they care way more about the f2p version coming

believe it or not but this is exactly what bf fans wanted all along
the same gameplay they've been having for the past 20 years where everyone looks like a generic faceless soldier

also saying that attachments do nothing is crazy take

and the blue filter you are describing is infact not a blue filter, it's a specific color grading method that gives the game a unique look... and trust me it is NOT worse or as bad as it was in BF3...

maps are smaller prolly due to rest of them not being finished or that people do not enjoy running for 5mins towards a objective just to die after a milisecond

also its only three maps two of which are set in a real life locations that are literally described as "small villages"

So far BF6 is a decent game and 100% much better than 2042 but it's defo not worth 80 dollars, I will wait on some big sale first

the destruction is only in certain parts and you cant blow apart buildings like in BF3/BF1. That part is underwhelming. The gunplay is pretty good. I don't like how the sniper glints are like a spotlight so its very easy to spot ANY sniper. (makes sniping yourself very annoying) Idiots will still hog vehicles and do fuck all with them while the team loses. There are certain maps where certain objects dont have a backface so you can climb into objects and set up a respawn beacon though you cannot shoot out of them but can climb out easily and surprise attack people (will deffo be patched in official game). Theres many more, overall id say my rating is atleast 85% since those issues are rather small and bugs arent widely abused.

Theres no way anyone can confidently say that BF6 is peak because if we ignore the UI, Contrast filter, TTK, visibility, movement, headbob and balancing the maps shown in the beta were absolutely horrendous, the open one (with mountains) felt most like battlefield but still felt poorly designed especially near the last capture point in rush (which is generally unplayable in its current state but thats a different topic)

if u give them a shotgun, they will use it like a shotgun

if u give them a sniper, they will be far from the battlefield and suppress fire and stuff

the ai enemies are cool too, its very easy to get caught off guard (only in no ui mode, literally is the only way people should be playing this game)

i had to install like 10 mods to somewhat improve the overall experience of driving, gliding and combat and its still so fucking ass it puts me to sleep sometimes

I never knew you can make a worse gliding system than it was in Arkham Asylum
It's slow, unreliable, steering makes my skin crawl and overall it's just really REALLY unsatisfying.

Even driving the Batcycle is messed up completely. People for whatever reason were saying that driving a Batmobile in Arkham Knight was bad but the Batcycle? holy hell I actively refuse to use it and just focus purely on gliding.
Batmobile in Arkham Knight was at least responsive, had good sound design, didn't had annoying music playing in the background when driven, was fast and was actually a really reliable way of traversing through Gotham, especially when combined with the launch-glide system

Developers at Tt games, that are responsible for that Lego Batman game announced few days ago, understood what made Arkhamverse such good trilogy better than Gotham Knights devs

It's lowkey ridiculous that if you are an Arkhamverse fan you must now look at Lego game of all places to fill the decade long hole

I just hope Warner and Rocksteady are watching and taking notes

Play delta force other than Chinese market being super predatory for a bunch of gun skins it’s a pretty good game with every piece of content aside from cosmetic content being free to earn. It’s not challenging stuff either definitely the most fun I’ve had since s1 finals
