it needs to charge up before it can fire, even in full auto mode, which makes it pretty impractical to run and gun with, and while the sniper mode does indeed have almost no bullet travel time or bullet drop, having to charge for a half a second before your shot fires actually makes aiming kinda hard

That'd be really cool. I think the premise behind final stand dlc was that Russians were experimenting with some high-tech stuff in Siberia and US send troops to stop it. How would that be connected to the Nordvik company? A lot of potential to tell a story through cinematics, but so far dice hasn't delivered a good job on that unlike say respawn.
A lot of people don't care about lore in multiplayer games, but for me personally it adds depth to pretty much everything you do.

Ambition is good but chris has far too much of it and the game suffers as a result. Instead of just focusing on what they had at the start he wanted to keep going bigger and bolder

now the game barely runs at acceptable frame rates, content is delivered at a snail's pace, and they've taken more than half a billion usd from players. With the end still not really in sight

i would like the game to succeed and be the dream space life sim everyone needs, but just looking at it is painful

Wow. This is a big game

Got my first gym badge and was actually kinda lost where to go next because of the sheer amount of options

The zones are pretty big and they're worth fully exploring because the spawn area for certain rare Pokémon could be localized to something as small as a singular point of interest tucked away in a hidden corner

and you are allowed to tackle the Gym Challenge, take down the Evil Organization™️ and face the Titan Pokémon in any order

do I run around Paldea and hunt for rare Pokémon first? do I just head to the next Gym? do I find a Titan Pokémon to fight? do I go to a Team Star base and fight the boss? do I clear the zone I'm in and fight all the trainers there for a reward from the League Rep?

I played about 10h of Dragon Quest XI and it is very reminiscent of that game in many ways

once you get out of the (somewhat lengthy) tutorial/intro sequence, you have lots of freedom

also @halcyon sage you'll probably like this, but trainers and random pokémon are a little smarter than before. if they have access to sand attack/double team, they will almost always try to stack that 2-3 times first. no weird type curveballs like the first gym leader in Renegade Platinum putting electric attacks on his rock pokémon but it's a little less braindead

just tried this game on steam called flight of nova

has a demo available and it's fantastic

the flight model is the best i've seen in any game, both in and out of atmosphere

highly recommend it to any fan of ksp or spaceflight in general

just did my first atmospheric re-entry and it took me about 11 minutes, lost a few bits here and there but i'd call it a successful landing

I had been keeping up with the game for years so them abandoning the mode that was actually cool just to make a somewhat blatant PUBG ripoff was mildly annoying. Obviously it's not a ripoff of anything anymore but that move kinda killed any interest I would ever have in playing the mode.

I think that too much realism in games is not a good idea they are quite stunning in graphics but their gameplay becomes too slow which cause half the audience gives up in months

I think there's certainly a niche out there that likes realism. Arma 3 for example, DCS, flight simulator. You need to spend hours if not weeks and months u understand basics of small things but I guess people enjoy that
