Basically all documents that we've conserved so far are 120 years old or older, so we get a lot of interesting information about business orders and processes in southeast Alaska and British Columbia and Yukon

We're entering information from the documents into a spreadsheet that'll later all be exported into an archival database, followed by some cleaning, flattening, mending, and scanning

You know these temps are within the expected operating range for the 3950X right?

I keep seeing you post about the temperature for your caches but there’s nothing wrong with them.

As long as you’re not surpassing 90C you’re fine. For the 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs, their silicon has a operating ceiling of 95C before damage starts to occur. Being in the 60-80 range under load is completely expected and fine unless you’re running some custom cooling loop.

Your bios will automatically adjust power being sent to the CPU based on required performance if it’s an automatic overclock. This is to save on power that isn’t needed. If you launch a game you should see more power being sent to the CPU.
