i think i might actually get this mouse for ffxiv and several other non-shooters - liked the scimitar's distinct side buttons but it wasn't available wireless (not so much a fan of cable clutter, and if the cable breaks i'm not brainy enough to replace them myself unless they're removable in the first place). the naga's side buttons are less distinct and i'm gonna go beyond razer a little bit, and i never use my naga's other side button plates

Yeah, if I remember correctly like 40% of steam games that run under proton are not steamdeck verified but they run just fine and the same went with the finals where I could get into the main menu on proton experimental.
Same goes for recently bf2042 works on Linux under proton but since dice hasn't enabled eac to work with proton you can get into a game for a couple of seconds but then instantly get kicked sadly
