The lh1 was good as it was before, hell i'd say it even needed a slight damage nerf, because being able to kill a heavy in 7-10 direct shots from this thing while you already had 10 shots available to begin with, while also having a pretty fast reload speed is kinda OP, heavy is supposed to eat bullets and this dude from this gun faster than from anything else, maybe repeater is faster but this gun is well balanced imo so it doesn't matter.
I know that light class is basically a paper towel when fighting against a heavy, but you have a cloak, dash and fastest running speed for a reason, and this gun rewards you the most for using it on medium range and not being up close and personal with another player. Although, I gotta say that using this gun up close has its benefits sometimes.

So why buffing this gun with another 10 shots?

The weird current state of LH1 aside, I get what they're trying to do with most of the guns' balance: make you have to have team-mates or gadgets nearby at all times to get kills, but it just leaves a lot of gun combat unsatisfying. Example that has bugged be all beta: a pump-grenade-launcher shouldn't take 8 explosions to down a wall and 5-ish hits to kill someone (two to kill Light isn't bad tho, I'll admit)

Overall, a lot of it is almost perfect; getting hit by a sniper is always just enough to get me downed by their other team-mates that rush in, explosives offer just enough petered out health to get finished off by others, etc

There is a difference between a meta and something being unbalanced or straight up idiotic.

Take Tarkov as an example for something idiotic - why bother investing is well customized guns, armor ect. if you will die to some dude with shitty smg because BSG is desperately avoiding on adding any leg armour?

And LH1 falls into the category of being unbalanced - you require absolutely no skill to use it and do anything valuable, no matter how much you wanna defend it it's undeniable, it has so many bullets right now it could technically do double team wipe in one magazine (considering if both teams use all light or all medium and you landed all shots) and it barely has any falloff damage due to this gun being designed for medium-close range use.

A good example of a meta is a default rocket launcher for soldier in TF2, AK47 in CSGO or Hellriegel in BF1 - all these guns are metas and what makes them so is simply the fact that they are the best options for competetive gameplay with minimal to zero downsides, but that still doesn't mean that these guns overshadow other weapons in their respective games, meaning you will still find all the other (or most of the) guns available fun and worth to use. And even though they're the meta guns - you still need to learn how to use them properly, and that's that makes a meta well balanced.

So answer me this my friend - why bother using a pistol, MAC or a sniper rifle, if LH1 does all of those things and it's doing it way better than the other guns available?

na my laptop is pretty solid, 2070 max q undervolted, 9750h with 24gb ram @2666mhz, in mw dlss medium settings i get 120-144fps. Warzone 1 is terribly optimized and i got 90-100fps on a large scaled map with 100+ players. The Finals i get 50-70fps 1280x720 on low dlss performance

Honestly, this is one of the main reasons why games like Start Citizen are so demanding, they're simply unoptimized to hell because why even bother optimizing anything if it's constantly changing? SC gets a optiomization patch every few major patches and it is indeed getting better and better with performance, but when you constantly add new shit that isn't optimized at all - you're doing one step forward and two back in terms of performance.

So if you see a game in beta, ea or alpha that is unoptimed BUT the game gets constantly updated with new content that doesn't suck ass and bug fixes throughout its developement - this is most likely a good sign since devs are focusing on more important things than just making the game run better. This isn't always the case of course (take Squad as an example lol) but most of the times it is.

but the fp does seem to correlate strongly to money extracted

there have been times where i won fp when getting knocked out in the first round tho and others when i lost fp, not sure if that was tied to individual perf
