@steel sedge slowmode so i cant respond there, cashout boxes will always finish before the round is over, so if the cashout box timer has to be reduced due to ther ebeing less time left in the match then a full cashout timer, u also get reduced pay

basically 7000 for a box with the full 2 minutes (idk hwo long a proper cashout takes) but if you only had 1 minute left on timer, ud get maybe 3500 of that instead

i've tried using everything. Some are easier to use than others. I find the best results on light with knife or m11. I think it definitely plays a part when my team is dead. Not having help to spray an enemy is usually just a guaranteed death

Yeah I mean light is probably why you're dying so quickly, most guns have around 25~ damage per round at optimal damage range, rough basis of the AK, and Light has... What, 150 HP? Light is never meant to "fight" people.

Yeah I guess you are right. I was trying to cross-analogy with EFT, where FPS is inconsistent from raid to raid, but that's because there are more players in one raid and less in the other for the most part.

Like it's smooth 80-100 for the most part, but when something starts falling appart the FPS just chugs heavy

A lot of math to do for the CPU I guess, and it's loaded 100% all the time (I have an i5 12400 paired with 3060)

It's not particles, particles are being rendered with your GPU, I am pretty sure it's all the debris calculation that loads your CPU even more

Yeah there's a lot of black magic they've done for server side destruction, but the game is quite CPU heavy.

it is, but your CPU still needs to process the information it gets from the server to render how it falls apart on your screen

the server decides when and how things break, and then everyone's PC has to make that happen on their screen.

I see the appeal of upscaling but imo it's not a solution to an unoptimized mess of software. It's like the devs using ducktape to solve their problems. I'm no dev but lately since upscaling has become quite popular every new release tends to be extremely bad on PC.

I like upscaling if it helps you reach MAXIMUM GRAPHICS on a rig that otherwise wouldn't be capable of rendering it smoothly at your desired resolution, like how it helps with raytracing on 1440 or 4k.
