I think the only problem I have with the sword is that it would deal full damage to everybody in the lunge so there was a problem where people would whip the hitbox around like crazy during the lunge+dash. But instead of making it so that it did less damage per person hit in a lunge. they just nerfed the entire lunge and it's synergy with dash
