There's always going to be those types of players. If it's not the sniper now they switched to sweating with the M11 and it's a different cat-mouse game yet still the same. For that I just mix up the weapons to try and make it fun. I like the niche weapons that break the common concept of "aim, shoot, reload". The LH1, I have a love hate relationship, because I hate the M14 in real life. Dogshit rifle, soldiers that used it will stand by that, but in The Finals? CRAZY DMR. The M11? I LOVE machine pistols, the idea of just quick-swapping to one from the sniper or LH1 and one hand spraying someone with it is INTOXICATINGLY COOL. The V9S! The only semi-auto pistol in the game, and it's an uber-fancy Austrian competition pistol. Just looks and feels cool. The ARN! Literally an MCX, one of my favorite rifles. That's actually very interesting. I always felt the DB was a 'fun' weapon regardless of its place in the meta because even if it is aim shoot reload as you say, it's rhythm /play is certainly unique to me. You get two shots and if you f it up you have to reset the fight and try again or you get cooked during the reload.

if you go for good range you will generally pick grapple or cloak to get into those ranged positions and rotate fast. Imo both are quite fine for a ranged character to have, most hero-shooter games offer tools like those to snipers and other ranged characters
