I actually had fun with it, it felt like one of those tacked-on multiplayer modes you had back in the 360/ps3 era that was fun for a bit and to play casually but the fact that they tried to make it a live service is what made it fail
Genuinely the only change it needed was better netcode and security so that people could just play it without a worry from time to time
