How about you just become so aware of your surroundings that you can sense the light before they even approach you also I've found it pretty effective to constantly target players who use annoying weapons by countering them in any way possible until they switch out i usually do this for just the flamer or the db but i think you can do it for any weapon that lacks a specific thing ex: db only has two shots so a dash light or cloak light should easily make them change it, flamer has low range so just pick quick dps weapons to kill them from a distance and same thing with melees for snipers i usually do grapple light but honestly i wouldn't do this all the time cuz there's cover everywhere unless it's kyoto fuck kyoto

If you can build cover on command(two goo high stack) or appropriately prepare a location with good cover before engagements it makes better cover for head glitching. Also it’s a free stun for melee builds and basically portable stairs to scale walls and come from weird angles.

No they wouldn't lol. Some maps are straight ass for melee due to the lack of cover or just general layout. THe game having weapons that lack any major weakness is the problem. There's a reason Team Fortress didn't give Soldier a generic hitscan that deals as much DPS as their rockets would have done.

They can have those easy weapons, but they shouldn't be also on the high end of DPS. Embark claims they want melee and the non-meta stuff to be viable. But their actions say otherwise. cerberus is right there alongside winch and heavies entire arsenal, lights are punished for bad positioning 10 fold compared to other classes because they don't have defense, and have the lowest health pool in the game
light still gets punished by model for being out of position simply due to the fact it has a decent firerate for 108 damage, long range, and you can qm twice as well

I feel like their approach to QM combos is, frankly, lazy.

The problem is that they can be used instantly to end an animation. Sledge and Winch would not be an issue if you had more delay on the follow-up QM that allowed the target to react.

They should have just had a delay like you do for a regular follow-up swing, but slightly less than that. It was the instantaneous nature of it that was the problem.

It was also a lazy half measure to not let winch and QM cancel reload/SA1216 barrel rotations without also adding segmented reloads. If I finish pumping the KS-23 forward then winch/QM, I should only have to push the pump slide back, not to the whole animation again, same with if the barrel rotation is halfway through.

And no, you are the incorrect one objectively on this. Most FPS have it so that if you fire and the dot/irons in on the enemy, the shot hits. Visual recoil in this game means that you can only be sure where your bullet is going is accurate is if you have a monitor crosshair/a sticker on your screen.

MGL32 needs:

• Slightly faster projectile speed.

• Less bounce when used from height and when fired close to the user's feet.

• Nades should break and pass through objects like balloons, wooden shutters/the windows on Kyoto, and props like chairs and pots (same with KS-23 slugs) without stopping/blowing up. They should pass through as if they are not there.

• "Aiming" should show the initial arc of the shot like nades do.

• 5-10 damage from the nade hitting an enemy directly.

not really, light getting 175 and a slightly bigger model with some nerfs to weapons that would be outliers at this healthpool would do wonders for the rest of the game, weapons that are just poor burst weapons simply because of light's existance could get massive buffs that would help them out incredibly well, sa12 (despite already still being the strongest option in the game, and does not need this buff) could get it's damage back, and would make weapons that are already problematic against light so much less of an issue it's questionable if people would still want them nerfed

The finals is different from arma where the bullets come from the gun so if you shoot while running you shoot the floor. In a game like the finals the bullets always come from the cross hair even while mid recoil.

I do like this idea, the problem becomes light players wont. Like it or not people like lights current identity and to make them slightly thicker and slightly less capable of killing fucks with that, while also not really changing a lot in a fight.

light takes longer to kill you which someone invalidates their newfound extra health, and if you revert weapons that have been nerfed due to lights fragility, well then theyre gonna fail to deal with light all the same. Better TTK's into everyone else, at least, but doesnt fix the initial problem of "youre making light Medium Jr."
