#Help with sending signals

Hi 👋 The signal stick only cast a certain signal, but then catching it is part of MythicMobs scripting. Specifying a direction to go for instance is only handled by MythicMobs, so you would need to ask on their support about such features coz that's out of my knowledge.
If you need assistance on setting up the signal stick, I'm still available tho
thanks
i basically need forward, forwardleft, forwardright and stop, am i correct in believing 1 stick can't do all that
one signal stick can do all that, but through multiple signals
although the mechanics would be very advanced, I don't know how you can force a mob to go somewhere
i already have a mob setup to move, i just need to send the signals forward left right and stop but the stick i have setup nor the items i have setup will move the boat. have no idea why because i've checked the settings over 50 times.
so wont move with either mcpets stick or mythicmobs items, i can't think why.
do you have an example stick i can compare to mine?
You already setup a stick right? Did you check that the signal was received?
Apart from the example on the wiki, no I don't
how can i check if the signal was received?
You can trigger a message mechanic using the ~onSignal:SIGNAL_NAME sent to @PIR{r=20} for instance
i'm new to all this, not sure what you mean, i have everything set up to move with onsignals, how does triggering a message tell you it was received?
do you mean get one of the move signals to run a message
think i figured it out, going to test
ok so i did actionmessage and the directions are appearing on screen but the mob isn't moving, any idea's what could be preventing it. I use worldguard
You might wanna ask on MythicMobs support for that part. If MCPets does the job by sending the signal and that it's received, then the issue must be in the mythic scripting somewhere
