So..Basically, what i need to install McPets 3d?

Hello! I’m having some trouble figuring out exactly what I need to install to get the MC Pets plugin working correctly on my Spigot/Bukkit 1.21.4 server.

Specifically:
• What are the required dependencies (like ModelEngine, MythicMobs, etc.) and their correct versions?
• Is the premium version of ModelEngine v4 mandatory for MC Pets to function properly?
• Are there any other paid plugins or APIs needed?

My use case is mainly cosmetic, with some pets offering light perks or features. I’d really appreciate any clarification on what’s needed and any associated costs to get everything running smoothly. Thanks in advance!

For 1.21.4, I think you can use the latest build on spigot for MCPets or the release in #🦦｜mcpets-builds

While MCPets is free, ModelEngine 4 is a premium resource (very limited features in the freemium). Also, as far as I know, they have not released a freemium compatible for 1.21+ so you'll need to premium here ($40 I believe)

Then, Mythicmobs free is usually fine, but again for 1.21.4 they have not released a free build that works yet... You should confirm on their discord. You might have to purchase their premium here as well ($40 or so I believe)

Specific versions are both latest for ModelEngine and MythicMobs I believe, and MCPets from spigot or #🦦｜mcpets-builds

And it's all you need if you create your own models

Upon installation, I suggest installing the free otter I made available on the wiki to make sure it's working properly

To get further pets, you can create yours or purchase packs or subscribe to our Patreon ($4 unlocks everything in #✨｜chibi for instance)

And yeah v4 is mandatory now for MCPets due to major api changes from V3 to v4
