Pet evolution issues

I don't have the lukperm permission group plugin installed on my server, but I do have groupmanager installed. and then the problem I'm having is that after a player's pet evolves, exiting the server and reentering it turns it back into its pre-evolved form. I'm not sure if this is due to not having lukperm installed.

Only LuckPerms is supported atm, as stated on the wiki, no one came with another plugin for now. I can probably add support for GroupManager, but why not moving to LuckPerms? It's such a better alternative

I'm wondering if it will be compatible with Groupmanager after that, because I used this plugin a long time ago and associated it with a lot of game content, so changing it would have a big impact.
