The chibi icons are not "player heads" contrary to the ones that you have in your current setup that display correctly.
The issue you're having is most likely an atlas issue!

Then you might have some merging to do, as for any resource pack when you add resources: https://mcpets.gitbook.io/mcpets/common-issues/common-issues/texture-pack-merging-custom-items-packs

also for some reason alot of my pets use the wrong icons
you will notice the werewolf and the utahraptor are repeated, but they are different pets
i made sure they used different ID's

Did you also change the icons model data in MCPets ?

each config loads the pet icon, you gotta make sure the data matches 🙂

and put into your client
use it as a resoucre pack
