My final part about these side missions is if I pulled 2 of the same creature for every side mission. I presume that there isnt anyway for me to get the other creature as Im practically locked out of the mission?

They can either be unlocked via tournaments or CE(collector’s exchange). Neither of which we know when they’ll ever come around
