#Trade harbor offer - why?

Why would you place such an offer in the trade harbor? And to make it even more annoying, it's pinned at the top of the offer list with a two-week duration.
Don't you have enough user complaints about misclicks? How many more do you need?
There will be exactly zero players willingly accepting such an unfavorable offer; it's a clear misclick trap!
Please remove it as soon as possible and put your effort into finding ways to introduce some real Christmas gifts, offers, and benefits, because what you have introduced so far has been worthless. Thank you!

They listened to you @slate moat and started a Christmas gifts countdown full of incredible presents 🎁. 😂

That’s what they’ve been doing all the time lol, placing horrible deals at places that are so easy to misclick, ignores thousands of suggestions asking for a confirmation button, all for them to make more money off of those who misclicked LOOOL

yep.. such a shame. It would make so many people happy and wouldnt break the game.. but guess it makes TOO much sense

Although each point presented in this suggestion’s almost all good, the very last one regarding how useless the Christmas gifts are lost my vote.

Come on, man. Free stuff’s free stuff. What do you expect, everyone to get 10,000+ DNA per day? The purpose of the Daily Calendars is to provide all players with a small pick-me-up, and not give an overwhelming advantage. Sure, the Happy Haul-idays Calendar’s not scaled based on Park Levels, but many other Calendars besides this one and most other holiday-themed Calendars have Park Level scaling implemented to them to actually have more of an impact for players later in the game’s progression. This one is designed in mind to bring a small amount of joy each day. The daily gifts in it are small, yes, but it’s certainly a lot better than the 8~ years of logging in JWTG without expecting any sort of daily gift.

whos to say, If Ludia/JamCity just sees us complaining about this weeks gifts. Whats stopping them from turning around and going "Well. They didnt like the gifts so next time, we wont bother giving anything out"

My thoughts exactly. Yes, I’m also honestly also underwhelmed with the gifts’ admittedly low quantity, but I’m for sure not taking these small gifts for granted. Asking for free handouts just sounds plain desperate; it’s not like the gifts carried endgamers’ game progression anyways. They exist more to help out players in the earlygame/early midgame, and are more of a marginal bonus to endgamers. I treat them as “Oh, how neat, a nice 1,000 DNA gift, thank you for the free stuff game devs,” and not like “Aww, man, I wish I got 10,000 DNA instead of 1,000 DNA… this gift stinks!” The latter just sounds real sad & ungrateful. 😅

Exactly. I rememeber back to when the game first started and it was a scramble to even get 10k dna in general. Plus that little extra free stuff that we are getting. I can use it to work on something a bit earlier. Yeah its not alot, but atleast its something. Could just be with how people had grown up, but i dont want to assume that stuff of people. I just know from my experience I dont expect anything ever, so even small things mean something to me

to be fair. This was more so a complaint suggestion instead of a true suggestion. Its really an awful offer though.. But whenever i make a suggestion which stems from a complaint i have. I try to actually provide some form of solution to the issue so it doesnt just seem like complaining for the sake of it

If they say so, we wouldn't miss much, would we? We'd barely notice. They do whatever they want, ignoring the community. And they always do it, changing the game in annoying ways. So, I don't see why we shouldn't tease their fake generosity. All those words just to justify "something's better than nothing"—I don't get it.

If you like it so much, please feel free to make your own "Thank you Jam City, you're the best" thread—I'm sure you'll get a lot of support there.

Personally, I don't care if we are getting 1,000 or 10,000 DNA. Or nothing. But if they make so much fuss over "in-game gifts" and then they give us 4 million coins—well, I will gladly say that it's a cr...

OK, actually I won't say it out loud because Bryan would probably report me to the mods.🙄

I make the coins in the gift package within minutes in the game, the food in four hours. The bucks are OK (better than nothing), but just a one time gift at the end, only the DNA package is some kind of decent.
All of this may be of some value for beginners and mid game players but they once again ignore the needs of endgame players who still want to make progress in the game too.
This is like giving your baby child a pacifier for Christmas and your twenty year old son the same.
