~~This type of suggestion has been made quite a lot in the past, but anyways,~~

I’d be fine if such a friend system were to have simple visiting functionality. If player-to-player trading was allowed, cheating would definitely run rampant for sure (a cheater could make a modified account and provide free resources to a second, fresh account of their own that’s friends with the modified account to fake legitimacy) and that alone would ruin the game’s “fairness” (despite being single player at its core) and overall quality.

I’m fine with a friends system as long as player-to-player trading is not implemented with it. My above statement would definitely apply, regardless if an unlock requirement gates P2P trading. P2P trading will definitely do more harm than good.
