We have a lot of carnivores in the game so I thought we should add the terror bird!It was one of the most terrifying birds ever!It had a large and insanely strong beak and really powerful legs!I was thinking it could be a legendary glass cannon!

It is a herbivore if you’re wondering!

You mean terror bird, right? We already have various phorusracids in the game, including Gastornis (the herbivorous terror bird)

Terror Bird!

Diet doesn't matter if it's a Cenozoic, they'll just label it a savannah like all the others

unreal field
analog belfry
#

Yeah, and this is definitely a Cenozoic lol

unreal field
unreal field
#

So it’s a mixture of nothing cenozoic and land!

analog belfry
#

You literally just said it's a cenozoic lmao, and no, terror birds did not exist during the mesozoic, the first terror birds evolved during the paleogene period, you're mistaking them with normal birds

Source?

unreal field
#

They weren’t fully complete terror birds but they still were terror birds!

analog belfry
#

Again, you have any source to back up what you're saying? Any paper or research?

unreal field
analog belfry
#

That's not saying anything lol. I can say mammoths lived during the carboniferous because I saw it on a suspicious website, and that won't make it true. What you probably read was false information, just a simple google search will prove everything you're saying wrong

nice idea i agree

i also agree

Dodo didn't have any close relatives in the game so they get a pass, unlike the creature you're requesting, which has 3, all of them savannah-class Cenozoics 🤷

#

I also agree

unreal field
#

These aren’t its close relatives the terror bird’s closest living relative is the modern sereima!

#

Just because they look alike doesn’t mean they are always related!

shut shard
#

Also @analog belfry why you getting your panties in a bunch over this idea its a really good idea for a creature and you’re getting pressed about it

analog belfry
#

Nobody's pressed lol, people just don't like being corrected. I never said I disagreed, did I?

#

Either way they don't seem to understand anything so it's pointless for me to keep doing it

Just forget about this argument because this post is just blowing up with these messages.

Average spinosaurid does have a point, even though they are nowhere near closely related to the terror bird. Ludia would most likely still classify em as cenozoic savannah clas creatures for they already have the asset of animations ready to be used

They don’t if it can be done the easy way it will be done the easy way that’s how it works

unreal field
#

Dodo’s a cenozoic but it was added as a normal land herbivore!

#

Forget about this matter, what do you think of the post?

drifting creek
#

True but it was classified as a flock, that might have been the only thing they made it a herb for they didn’t want to release cenozoic flocks yet

drifting creek
#

The post is alright but some stuf just cannot be changed unless it is of utmost importance

unreal field
#

Yup,I get it!

We have actually plenty of terror birds . The term is referring to the group in a whole and not a specific . This also includes the in game phorusrhacos and kelenken so we kinda have a terror bird

unreal field
#

Adding the original terror bird wouldn’t hurt though!
