The first turn battle revert not fully implemented?

I first faced this yesterday where the AI bot was able to go first in a Jurassic event battle , at that time I only realised it after the battle was over since it had been a norm for a decent amount of time but today as well the AI went before me not once but twice while doing a event

Because this screenshot is from today’s What Lies Below Event for Hyneria, the AI getting a chance to start first in here is intentional since this Event is not part of the Weekly Event Rotation. Test Your Strength, on the other hand, now guarantees that players go first because it is part of the Weekly Event Rotation.

Sorry for a very late response but if I understand this right you're saying hyneria events been out before they made the revert so that's why the AI could go first ? And in the events released after the announcement the AI won't be able to do so ?

The AI was able to go first in today's event as well

Once again, since Raptors On the Prowl isn’t part of the weekly Event Schedule, it’s normal that the AI gets a chance to get the first turn. I believe that this even applies to the unlock Events, which are weekly, but since the prize creature’s always different from the past week, the First Turn Reversion doesn’t apply to those Events, too.
