Is this a base you've seen or an in game structure? It looks like the slanted walls are at an 80° angle and i don't see how thats possible for a player to replicate without looking like a jagged mess. There is a structure in Hagga basin at Helius Gate with slanted walls. If its a structure that's part of the game, those bases are sometimes impossible to replicate.

The highest i ever beat was (difficulty) lvl 20 with another player but that was a longer time ago and now im just doing all that solo 🤷‍♀️

I do have lvl 100 combat specializations, 200 player lvl and such, few points in the rest too so its probably enough of a bonus i be getting but i dont really know, i really dont see a difference myself "most of the times" 🤷‍♀️

I think i just need better grades on weapons (currently running with G3 and G4) and maybe more augments which are good but i have to look that up on YT at some point, see whats a good augment for a perforator as example and such :)

I’ve spent over 400 hours on this fan project -building in-game environments, preparing footage, and creating characters for a story. The plan was to make a **series **about a mining family, explain the game, and add some own story elements.
But the time required -especially for 3D modeling speaking characters- became overwhelming. So i experimented with AI, but that turned into a huge time and Electricity-costs drain, and it never worked as intended.
My health has gotten worse, and I no longer have the energy for such a long-term project. So I’ve decided to make a clean cut.

F6 was the old keybind, it should have updated to F11 when they introduced the seat switching in vehicles with the F keys, (becaues F6 in a carrier would be the 6th seat rather than HUD removal. But for some it doesn't seem to have changed.

Today i backed up my own base (+2 connected ones to this one, you just cant see it)
and all my vehicles.. and now im ready to fully quit the game.

I would say it was worth my time and money that i put into this game, it was really fun but with time i started playing less and less, it was really hard to get back to it and play or do 5 landsraad missions at all.. so i just logged into Dune today and decided to back up everything i have and take a long break, for a unknown time duration, return in the future.. whenever that may be 🙂 🩷

Ever since the game launched, I’ve kept asking myself one question: what about the balancing?

I spend just a few hours in the Deep Desert and already collect more blueprints than I could ever use in a life. I’ve never really had that euphoric feeling of finding something truly valuable. Everything exists in overwhelming quantities -like looting an entire truck full of gear.

My weapon lasts for weeks or even months before it breaks. Vehicle parts also last for months before needing replacement. The tracks on my sandcrawler are still the original ones from September 😅 and I still have 20 spare blueprints. Even my ornithopter has been the same since September 🤭 only repaired when needed. So after 1,400 hours, I’ve almost never had to replace anything. Anyone have same experience?

I don’t know if this can be balanced equally for all players. Even Tier 5 blueprints eventually become overly common. If players could only find 1x blueprint per day (a limitation), they would actually feel special again.
And a blueprint recycler would be nice too.

one thing I am not sure was mentioned on the news release, make sure everything is on a building piece, as in not on terrain. Unless that was fixed? But I remember them saying intially if you have storage or production, etc on sand or terrain that it would not get backed up. I plan to take the same supplies on my person as I would to establish a base in the DD. Even if the base tool works, I might run out of time (I only get 2-3 hours at a time to play) looking thru seitches and need to make a temporary base. Good luck to all of us that have to move and may the anxiety stay low. nearly 3 months of waiting and being packed up is finally coming to an end.

(my base was down the way but if it was furhter, I would have built a box with crates nearby to shorten the trip

yup, put like a 3x3 and put in plast boxes, and then just move from the bags to the boxes; once it's all secured then you can move it at your leisure and then pull up the staging base

It's kind of hilarious how wrong it is though... Atreides get no rounded walls (it's a jagged corner) we don't have any large banners yet... Ornithopter pads are okay for a quick drop off but not protective long term... the "workbench/crafting hall" where it has nothing like fabricators in it... dining/office areas we cant get chairs remotely that close to the tables (though we have asked many times) no idea wtf that power generation room is even meant to be, it has a huge banner over the door in the top right pic and if you want a really good laugh look at the little building on the bottom, it lists rooftop and ornithopter pad on the bottom

so generators. You won't be on those long. You'll move to turbines (two sizes) or a spice generator. Turbines go outside and spice gens are quite large. I would not build my base around having small gens

the larger refiners are also really big and would not fit well in that build

ask around on your world if you can peek in and get an idea of just how big stuff is.
Throw in containers ( pretty good sized) med thopters, carriers, and harvesters. They are massive.

and then water.
You start with blood purifiers (2 sizes) then you have 2 different sized wind traps (larger is massive) and deathstills and 3 different sized water cisterns

One of our Harkonnen players on Splinter, Desert Jinn, has been taking the faction war immersion to another level by writing in character battle logs after major Deep Desert engagements.
What started as a normal spice operation turned into a full scale conflict with Atreides forces, complete with aerial combat, FOB assaults, guerrilla warfare, and even unknown third party fighters entering the battlefield.

Stuff like this is what makes Splinter stand out. The Harkonnen vs Atreides war feels less like random PvP and more like a living conflict on Arrakis, where every spice field, ambush, alliance, and betrayal becomes part of an evolving story driven entirely by the players themselves.

If part of the outside of the base is built from pieces made from granite, then this is a possibility, yes, and not a bug.

The storms knock the shields offline for a little bit in the DD. Over a few days or a week, it's possible that the granite pieces can take enough damage when your shields go offline to eventually destroy them.

well you aren't going to be replacing these windows on a structure butted up against a build zone. 🙁 Look how far they stick out. You'll need to make structures an entire tiel skinner to be able to use in a solido replicator for the DD. I know. I had issues with the Atreides Gates sticking out to far. They could be built but once you try to place it with a replicator the game said nope.

Regarding the service alert for the AMD Adrenalin crashing issue--for me this is specific to the Smuggler 1x1 door and Smuggler Hatch, regardless of setting--and rolling back/downgrading to a previous update:

I have gone to their site to find the drivers, entered the info into the search and clicked search, and then tried hitting enter, I also clicked all the options and clicked submit and hitting enter. Neither of these produces results.

I mention this because at this time, AMD Adrenaline owning players can't use this option to downgrade to a previous update (prior to 26.5.1 or whatever it was).

I've mentioned #dune-awakening-general-0 that I have tried this, tried the Adrenalin software itself, and checked the device manager for giggles.
