I took some real winners last night before the Coriolis storm, in the valley para-NE of the Anvil. First, Hagga Rift disappeared. Like, the whole thing. You can see how shocked my character is.

The base is still being built. The platform is mainly there because the pillars looked weird without a roof. I figured I would do something with it in the future. I mainly wanted to go for efficiency but I also just didn't want a box.

I don't know what I am gonna do with the platform in the front and the back but I am a PVE player so I will probably put something there with furniture or something to make it not just empty. I have to go around to the tradeposts and buy all the schematics for that stuff, I haven't gotten around to it.

Got it. My DD bases are usually just a plain square tower using the width of the advanced claim, fully open/shielded at the top and a thinned foundation for ease of placement. Super quick to build and even quicker to destroy

Yea... I won't lie this base has max extensions on it. It is no where near the size its going to be. I basically threw down a box to get everything I need inside and to get the insides built then will go back and make it much bigger with a design and make it look good. Right now though I just have so much I still want to do with the inside and to make sure the power can supply all of it. I haven't done the vertical expansions yet but when I go to build upwards I will add them on.

The 10 advanced deathstills is 3.5k power alone. Once I start adding in the advanced fabbies I will need even more power so that is my main focus right now. Once I get all that situated I will definitely try to make it look better.

How can you burn (so to speak) that much water as a solo player?

I have 6 advanced death beds (just because it looks good) but most of the time half of them are switched off

I am constantly grinding mats to the point I am getting them faster then I can process them. Like when the server just went offline, I had over 700 aluminum bars being made, 400 duraluminum, 1k cobalt paste, and 1k silicon blocks.

I run 5 medium forges (I don't have large due to me never having gone to DD) and 2 medium chemical processors

I am different from most people I meet on here because alot of people don't enjoy grinding out mats but I find it very relaxing, I put a show on my second monitor, kick back with my controller and just farm mats literally all day.

Also, if you have plenty refined materials, you can sell them on the exchange and use the Solari to buy the Hark/Atreides sets

It won't matter. Once a particular twitch campaign is over, DA will release the items anyway sometime after that. It won't be instantly, of course, but they've said all the stuff will be available to everyone because they understand not everyone wants to watch streams.

It's so trivial to just stack up basic generators ( in a hidden floor even if you want to) and fill them up to max with a quick buggy trip once or twice a week.

I did the same lab 11 times in a row and every time i did it there were fuwer and fewer enemies. This clip was the 11th round. If i kept going i bet it would have kept reducing the numbers even more. Possibly some code to keep people from mass farming these enemies for xp? Realistically i want to go inthere with a mentat trooper build and a minigun or flamethrower and lay down the law

You can store stuff at the hub + your thopter. There is an update coming that increases the bank space tremendously.

You can also build a storage base above 800m. It will never decay or take storm damage even if you never power it.

ok, built up 25, going to leave some wiggle room because the ground is uneven. distracted with landsraad points then I'll try to expand and build

remembered that you only need to keep destroying the fief and build 7 higher at a time, so only need to use the 5 final vertical extensions

I wrote all the lyrics and AI generated the Tune. Suno.com - I went through multiple versions before finding the right tune.

Go check out Suno. You can create a few songs for free and it's easy. Songs are pretty good, but a lot of them do end up sounding similar. If you play around with the options, you can generate less of the 'similar' sounding stuff and create some very unique types of songs.

Oh and I should add, I did a rough edit of the video first and then adapted my lyrics somewhat to fit the video.

Thanks. Good info. Almost all my videos use suno generated music now. It very hard to find music that is right for vidoes. AI music opened up a humongous set of musical options for me. - I also use occasional AI images for my splash screens, but mostly I use in-game shots because I'm not good at the AI images yet.

The simple stuff can be churned out by anyone, but at what point does it change from AI creating it versus AI just being a tool that allows an artist to do things they could not before. How much of the art is AI at that point and how much is the person? That's a hard question to answer.

Is your bios updated? Your CPU is known for having issues.

My fiance has the same CPU and we would run into crashes on some games. It turned out that it was high voltage/power draw that would happen randomly. It would draw too much power, leaving the GPU short, and the game would crash.

I ended up undervolting it before it became a known issue. Once it became known and bios updates were released, I did that also. She basically never gets crashes anymore outside of the occasional call of duty directX error.

Definitely worth updating the bios.

I would also use the *intel driver & support assist app to check for any specific driver updates.

If you're confident in your abilities and want to go a step beyond that, you can look into tuning the CPU using something like the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. However, the bios and driver updates I would highly recommend.

The fix to your crashes may not be related to this but I feel like it's more likely to be the known issues surrounding the CPU than with your PSU. Free solution as well. Fingers crossed and hope it helps!

Yesterday these 3 Directionals were running fine for couple hours in the X-spots but today when I logged in there were not running. They did have 450+ Industrial-grade Lubricants in them.

These are bugged, be carefull if you use them..... I had to make a new platform to get them running again.

You should never build turbines on the edge of your claim in what is essentially a 3 sided box. Someone can set up a base next to yours and build a wall to turn off all of your turbines.

Good point, but they won't run unless they are on the edge.

Maybe I need to move them on the roof of my buildings....

Roof is good. Safest is to put your base next to a no build zone and build your turbines on that side.

Not worth under-volting (which you may not need anyway) for this. It should launch regardless. There are ton of tech savvy people on Discord. Maybe a different discord will have someone that can read the logs and figure it out right away?
