My group is probably done with our guild base. Been living in this for 3 weeks now and it has been a blast:

We've really had this base lived in by 10-20 folks for awhile, and it's interesting how you get a flow going running around. Gave lots of different pathways for people to run through and around the base. Everyone also has their own rooms (4 tiles per) in two residential buildings on the right/left

Problem is that DD is a rushed mess but also a huge waste of time. Say you get materials and make mk6 gear. What's there to use it on? At best you got two labs that are probably already looted when you get there. Plast should have been available in Hagga and DD should have been mk6 from the start.

That's where I disagree at least. Titanium should have been in odham/north of od. Strad could have been in nE above rift. Make the slaver camps in middle MK5 and make DD inherently mk6. There's zero reason whatsoever to make a game where 1-5 tiers are basically pure pve then last one is pure pvp with nearly no pve content

Thanks! The big pillar underneath is actually a staircase going all the way to the ground floor where I have a garage (the middle section is empty so I can jump all the way down if I want lol). So I have one garage at each entrance, top of the cliff and bottom. It has been fun making it, but also frustrating. I moved location once after I messed up the measurements and wasted multiple Stake extensions lol. Also getting the angled walls to work plus the roofs... I need to go back and farm more Basalt. I have gone through like 15-20k of the Plastone.

For the Past Week and a half, the Guild "Do You Spice" has been making it a point to teach the Server we are on that Large Spice Blows are for Guilds and Groups that can take the Heat. Our way of teaching that is by Attacking ANYONE on Large Spice Blows indifferent of Solo or Groups, Rockets or Storage. As a Guild, We have NEVER attacked Anyone on a Small or Medium Blow. In fact, we don't even touch those Blows. Because of the Constant Attacks always from above normally Killing the Player before they see it coming then Immediate Thumpering of their vehicle.

We Made what we were doing Publicly Known all Week. Because of this, our Guild has become hated in the Server. This has Caused some of more Scummier Guilds to Mess with us in PvE Areas.

There was only 1 instance of Our Guild doing that to Someone Early on (They don't mess with Us nor Us mess with Them anymore and we came to an Understanding of why that Happened) and since then, we make it a point to leave People alone in PvE Areas as it is beyond Scummy. There are Players that don't mind messing with People in PvE.

We have seen people Standing in E5 on the Dune next to the Large Spice Field using Holtzman Shield to Make the Worm popup IN the Circle, all while in PvE. We all Know Carrier Blocking is a thing, But using it in PvE shouldn't be a thing.

I am Making This Post not as a Complaint of Specific Players. Rubico is just the Example player used in this video, but I wanted to show the Playstyle. But instead I am asking for Devs to Change the Interaction of Vehicles in PvE Areas. If this was done in a PvP Area, this would be 100% acceptable to Me. But the fact is, the Players avoided the PvP Area entirely and only messed with us in PvE Area.

If you build somewhere worm can reach you, thumpr or no, it'll come and eat whatever it can reach right away, so just place down a small fief, place some pillars as far aout as you want and the pillars that survive, that's safe land. Delte fief, place new one then place another pillar and bam, you know how far you can go out

The landsraad missions are always either handing in an item, or killing NPCs.

This server i think last week was like 2-3 houses won for hark. most harks have just stopped trying and moving servers

Sadly this is an inherent flaw with a faction system and if anyone ever wondered how'd that work, there's been a myriad of examples such as WoW since 2004. Only one I know who fixed it is FF14 but they basically force people temporarily into a faction for the pvp match and they made it 1v1v1.

Is anyone having base issues since the weekly update?

I was online just before it and everything was fine but after the weekly update my base is now using more power than it's generating and the bottom of my ramp has been destroyed but won't let me rebuild it due to a staking unit issue despite having structures that are clipped as far down

It destroyed some of my walls too, I had to destroy the sub thief and replace it, then the power went back to normal and I could rebuild the missing structures.

Annoying though because if you were offline a few days when the update happened your base is offline for storm damage

each user has a specific id. the bad actor takes your id, emulates it on their character tricking the servers into thinking they're you. then they have the same permissions as you in your base
