Subject: Performance Issue – High FPS in Pause, Low FPS In-Game with High Latency

Hello,

I'm having a strange performance issue in Dune. When I pause the game, the FPS goes up and everything looks smooth. But when I play normally (especially walking around), the FPS drops significantly, and the latency (LAT ms) increases a lot.

I already tried:

Restarting the PC

Updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers

But the issue still persists.

Please help me fix this problem or let me know if it's a known issue. Thank you!

you need a welding torch and welding wire to repair vehicles

you need to assemble the vehicle itself from parts and then use the welding torch to repair the individual pieces

Thing is, red line is the "new limit" it's basically wear and tear that permanently reduces MAX durability.

When yellow bar reaches 0, it's Broken and tossed or recycled, so idea is to keep repairing before it reaches 0 and each time the max goes down

looks like you have used two different ramps normal ramp and half ramp and thats why its buggy'n out

Could also be you have build a wall in between the ramps, many wall variants have some bolstering on the edge that can stick trough ramps and stairs.

Some periods are more extreme than others when it comes to latency, I cannot seem to find consistency with it. But the disruptions are happening, and it can horribly mangle attempts to engage in either PvE or PvP melee combat, which is a shame because it's quite fun when everything's actually working properly (minus Funcom's strange idea of how to handle auto-targeting vs. Maas Kharet enemies ~_~)

I'm running on a high end rig so I dont have most of the issues folks seem to encounter but it definitely is one of the best performing UE5 launches I've enjoyed

I don't get any performance issues with lumen cranked up the way I did with like, Satisfactory when they first implemented it

I kept my base down by anvil on the rock near a little pass through and the garbage bridge but I put it up on stilts so anyone could pass by. And I claimed all the areas of ore near me to prevent people from destroying the spawns.
