yeah so funnily enough, couple of points to address:

1. you can buy the artifacts in the main menu on emporium, idk how you didnt figure that one out
2. the save feature is being discussed in the dev team already, and for the "wrapped-up" point, I believe if you played the game enough to unlock pandora by activating apotheosis, you would've done enough runs to realise that arriving at the delta and rest area sections doesn't mean the run is "wrapped up" and can be continued, either way save system should be coming regardless
3. Idek what difficulty you played on for it to be called slow but sure
4. DRG is made by a team of 44 developers. 6 which founded it and are VERTERAN game developers. Gatekeeper is made by a small indie game developing team of less than 6 people so DRG is quite literally not even a good example to use for a comparison.
