So, we'll assume that another ShB doesn't happen and we get 2 ults per expac (yes, this is a major assumption, but necessary here - yoshi at least said he would like to have 2 in endwalker, so we'll assume that's the goal). The pattern is 1 MSQ ult & 1 Normal Raid Ult per xpac, so 4.X-1 mapped to 2.0-MSQ, 4.X-2 mapped to 2.0-Nraid, 5.X-1 mapped to 3.0 N-raid, 6.X-1 mapped to 3.0/X MSQ (3.0-3.3 in this case), therefore 7.X-1 maps to 4.0/X MSQ (Shinryu/Zenos/Tsuki/etc.) OR Omega Ultimate, and then 7.X-2 is whatever of those two 7.X-1 wasn't. So the projected patch for either ShB MSQ ult (Innocence/Hades/Lightwardens/etc.) or the Eden Ultimate is 8.X

idk if this is a bad take but i wouldnt mind if they skipped over the 4.0/X MSQ ult 🤷‍♀️ that's just, like, my opinion tho. They could probably find a way to make it cool, I just know Omega and ShB excite me way more than Shinryu and the like.

-Since the Dragon Eyes are gone (seemingly, because they blew up when Thordan died), that means Illberd cannot summon Shinryu, which entirely changes how the Eorzean Alliance goes about retaking Ala Mhigo and Doma
-Since Shinryu was never summoned, SB's final boss would be entirely different, or Zenos would attempt to summon Shinryu himself through researching ancient Doman Legends so he can take his power for himself.
-Omega Raid Series would never happen, because Omega was never activated to subdue Shinryu.
-Because Omega Raid Series never happened, ShB would look a LOT different, but probably still have the same setting and antagonist.
-The end of EW would look different due to no Shinryu.
