I can’t speak for everyone but in my case at least, it was not so much about their progress but rather seeing cool transitions but getting only half or less of the animation.

Wouldn’t have been upset if they cleared first. I just wanted to see more about the fight since I know I’m never clearing that in my lifetime lol

this is my exact take I got from the story myself. Personally I would like cutely start a riot if they brought him back, it would be akin to the Sylvanas treatment, arising (desecrating, depending on how the writing is) the corpse of a beloved character once again for ??? - if they go down that route, it's only a matter of time until he's a Scion
